11:00 I’d assume salami’s scout reaction times are made worse by the fact that he doesn’t use control groups (which is totally wild considering how well he plays). Was astonished when I saw on his stream.
I checked it just for you, this game was in the morning. When i just woked up and had no clue even what's happening around myself cus i instantly jumped to PC and literally didn't cared losing scouts, i was happy macroing my base

That cavalry flank at 17:08 was quite something. It's really hard to get a proper flank out of nowhere.
Unfortunately most games, even modern ones, done incorporate fear or shock into the soldiers. If you see a sudden cav charge out the middle of nowhere you gonna shit your pants

would this build work if HRE went for fast castle?
I have a love hate thing with Ottoman. They play like i used to play Goth but its a lot harder to do effectively and survive to late game when i can really spam units and go in with a horde and a few cannon.

everyday video you try to convince me not to go double scout. and as a HRE / Rus main i always go double scout. to push deer and get safe food also it helps me scout which usually if i loose a game it’s because of not scouting properly. so i will not be convinced!
I mean double or even triple scout on rus is very standard so no surprise. I think its fine either way especially if youre below diamond2

aussie you are sometimes making me laugh janisarries in castle age are bad bro(they dont worth the cost) no reason to build them they only good against horseman
Both Drongo and Snoopa were correct on building horsemen to counter that Archer+Crossbow ball, though. The problem was Snoopa just didn't have enough numbers because he got plain out-macro'ed and out-eco'ed

Jannissarys arent terrible i think, they counter horsemen and Knights, But yes Sometimes drongo geht's to excited

Janissary are former slavic children that were kidnapped and being raised and converted to islam as a fanatics who serve as a regular soldiers for the ottoman empire. Being a lifetime part-slave who has a little more previleges compared to a dog those days.
If there ever be USA in AoE4, will we see a black people slaves as a unit?
In my opinion it's disgusting that this game has such a unit.
It's one of the most iconic and elite unit of the ottoman army, they are expected by most player to be there (well they made an ottoman with no horse archer which look strange). Their recruitment look horrible today but they were quite powerful in the empire and while they had a lot of restrictions they also got load of privileges. Receiving good education to become either soldier or work in high position for the administration of the empire, they quickly rose to became one of the most powerful group in all political affairs, later they would even stage coup to change the Sultan for another or they would block any reforms they didn't like. Pretty far from a dog, no ?
It may seems mindblowing to you but elite unit made of slaves was a common practice during the middle age and later in the middle east, Mamluks and Ghulams alongside the Janissary being the most well know.
USA would make no sense in AoE4, it's a medieval themed game, USA wouldn't form before at least a couple of century. Also they didn't really use slave for their army, but you can be sure that any game that portray the American Civil War will feature the black free slave regiment of 54th Massachussetts regiment (which is nice).
