What? It's making an alarm sound that turns into a hostile roar. It's large, morbid looking and clearly aggressive. The problem with horror is the reveal of the monster is always a release from tension. If this series could manage to never, ever let viewers see or hear the hostile entity in the backrooms it would be legendary, that unresolved tension would be fiddled with by viewers for ages.
But nope, too much will be shown and then all will be explained.

Idk, what did he really expect there to be a real human in the other world? I wonder if the black wire things USED to be humans? Its what happens to people from other dimensions that get struck there too long? Lol in one way i thought of the voice it uses is either (1) a trap device. Or (2) its actually a human that is so crazy from the entire experience of being stuck there and distorted, that its just shrieking in frustration and just trying to get to this human it sees in a yellow suit and is hoping to get help.

The slow run is made to make a connection to your dreams because whenever you run inside of your dreams you feel like you’re running pretty slow so that is why they made it like that in this video because they know for a fact that its scary

Could be time dilation. Time and relativity don't seem so closely intertwined in the backrooms (which I think is how the creator's gonna explain his null zones concept). It basically means time works slightly different for each individual and could have an affect on their perceived speed while running

Especially with how they work together and don't do that super obnoxious fucking trope of "EdGe LoRd HuRd dUrr I mAtTeR MoSt cAusE I JuSt dO." *proceeds to be uncooperative and ruin everyones chances of survival selfishly in the dumbest ways possible*

I like when he first sees the Monster the Lead askes what he sees while his other teammates ask if he's okay. It's very suddle but shows slightly different priorities from the different team members.

The wiki is a great example of what happens when nothing is curated, it really is just too much, and while some of it could be interesting the lack of proofreading and constructive criticism really destroys the entire idea. Completely agreed. The backrooms is not supposed to be something that is fully understood or documented.

Is t this the first time A-Sync realized that they aren’t alone? They know that they are the only living beings that can last here, so when they see a living object here, they needed to rethink everything they know about the backrooms. Imagine walking into a cave on the moon, not possible for life or anything resembling it. Then you see some beast made from rocks and dust, no one knows what to do next. Every thing they thought about life’s existence.

Kane Pixels knows how to make true horror. Master of his craft. The sounds give me goose bumps. Terror I haven’t felt since I was a child, staring into the darkness.

I watched the Pitfalls - Backrooms Video yesterday and I screamed when one of the scientists wearing the yellow hazmat suits fell into one of the holes.

I’m pretty certain there’s some time travel or breakage of time occurring. Kane had to repost the video but the original had a moment where you hear a radio go off and a song that won’t come out many years after the story would play.

When Marvin walked toward the entity, his comms got interrupted and played “Kids” by MGMT, a song that would not be until 11 years later in 07, based on the filming of that video in 96.
A Possible theory that the “victim” of the entity was from the future relative to the a-sync engineers. The backrooms are this stagnant purgatory where space and time are warped, making it possible for that to happen
If you see the video "backrooms- found footage" the person is screaming for help in the exact same way as the entity. That video was recorded in 1996 and the pitfalls one in 1990 so..... My guess is that time doesn't work so well in this dimension

I have a theory: in the kane pixels backrooms video, the cameraman in that video saw writing on the wall that said, "stay still don't move" and he moves and then the entity comes chasing after him. The entity probably can only sense motion, because the cameras had sensors on them to detect motion. I think that the entities were mutated from the tripods that were placed in either the motion detected or the autopsy report video. I think that the bacteria in the backrooms mutated the tripods/cameras, and since it seems that the entity recorded the screams of it's victims before it killed them. I think that they also wear the suits since they know that there is bacteria in the backrooms, and Marvin at the end seems to get infected since he coughs a lot, although that might just be him getting tired after running from the entity. Finally, in the autopsy report video (all of these videos are from Kane Pixels) it showed that there was a ton of mold - like bacteria on the dead body, which is probably from the entities. A final thing that I noticed is that in the found footage video by Kane Pixels, it shows in the description that the year was 1996, but when the camera was recording the play/act thing at the start of the video, it was 1990, which shows that time is warped in the backrooms.

Ok, here are my thoughts on the monsters... i think that when you enter the backrooms without a hazmat, you will slowly lose sanity while exposed to the air. The monsters are really corrupted humans, and thats why the monster was speaking and screaming, the monsters inherited the ability to speak and imitate the humans, to lead the normal, uncorrupyed people in. But those are just my thoughts...
The scientists at the beginning said that they came from “oak ridge” this is the name of the lab from the prototype video
I actually don’t think the entity is repeating the sound to make someone fall in its trap because in the first video (in 1996) you can hear that the sound that the entity makes is actually a combination of a lot of voices, making it impossible to know what it is saying. So maybe the entity just records voices of victims and then play them, this entity just had one victim and that’s why the voice is so clear.
If that is the case & I knew there was no way I was getting out alive; I'd make sure my last screams were: "Run away from the screams". Got to make sure you win against it somehow, even if it claims you 😉🤣

Entry level, behind the circuitry room
A video game where it’s a procedurally generated open-world horror game of the backrooms with every levels would be so great. Like you are an A-sync scientist and you have to explore and document the backrooms (like taking pictures and analysing things with your camera) with an option to be in co-op with 3 of your friends talking through radio while being chased by entities.
And if you get back in reality you can sell your discoveries to buy new gear to explore the backrooms. You can also do little side quests to get rewards like « take 5 pictures of the entities in the backrooms » etc.
Things you could buy would be like better protection against entities, better hazmat suits to survive against the mold, better weapons, oxygen tank to explore water levels, etc.
That would be sooo insane

One thing that really freaked me out was the movement of the entity. You could very easily pass it off as a poorly animated 3D character, but the idea that this thing is as real as you are, you realize that it’s movement is not normal, it’s broken. It doesn’t help you figure out what being it is, only that it’s not normal. That combined with the amazing sound mixing for the screams really put me on edge, and the thought of something like that chasing me freaks me out whenever I think about it.

God when I first saw that after release, everything from that point on had me legit in flight or fight mode. Even just watching it again here I felt completely on edge and disturbed.

I like to think the entity is the person that was camped out there, and that’s why the entity was still close to its own camp with fleeting memories of what it’s goals and final thoughts were, plus that would show why they wear hazmat suits to mitigate the reality warping effects that happen in the backrooms long term

In the video autopsy they recover a body from the back rooms that is extremely decomposed and that is due to the bacterias in the back rooms that will kill you if you breathe them in, or something like that. I like to think that’s the body of the guy we first saw clip into the back rooms

I would like to say the entity is probably a skin-stealer which uses the voice of others also they use the skin of others but I did not see that so I might be.
It most likely isn’t any entity from the official wiki because Kane is taking his own spin on the backrooms lore and stuff.
However, there are a few theories that the entity is a motion camera(one of which that was shown to be set up in a previous video), that was infected by the bacteria and and mutated by human DNA from that dead guy(autopsy report video).

I heard that kane parsons either currently takes or took film classes. I'm wondering if he learned how to make such an intriguing story through those classes, possibly with the help of others, or if he just is a naturally born artist.
What I love about Kane’s back rooms is how there aren’t levels and how it’s not all documented, and it’s not even the the fungi that feed off their victims and eventually become them, it’s the liminal space and the fear of the unknown

I can watch horror movies without so much as a jump. Most horror games I can play without heart rate increasing (excludes things like silent Hill, amnesia, Soma).
But this specific chapter in this Backrooms story, ESPECIALLY the encounter with the screaming "person"? I had goosebumps, my hairs were on edge as Marvin ran back to the hole, and I was speechless when it ended.
From the glimpse of the entity we get it's the same creature seen in the first film, I think that people lost within the Backrooms without environmental protection are distorted into "pipes" style creatures.
I don't think it's mimicking human speech, it's a human.

The "Heyy!" sounds similar to a backrooms video where the camera person looks out the window where it looks like he's in a VERY tall building where someone is yelling back at them.

i find it so terrifying when you hear the monster asking help at the end, then you can make out instead of weeping noises, it sounds more of laughter... And the "incoherent mumbling" is also really creepy and scary, i wonder what its saying...

the first room in the backrooms looks like the one from the previous video where the Async employee glitches out of reality. Maybe he glitched into the future where Async found out about the danger of the entity so they closed shop. Thats why an alarm rang when the employee went in there.

Okay but that cramped weird looking hallway appeared in my dream. It was 5 years ago and made a Reddit asking if this dream meant anything. It was an unfinished office building with really weird architecture (Like the Backrooms before it was the Backrooms)
I’ve had multiple of these strange dreams and about a year ago I discovered this famdom. I was so excited and became obsessed but disappointed that it’s entirely fictional. If that’s the case then why do these dream eerily align with this strange fandom?
Please correct me if i’m wrong or remembering incorrectly but on Kanes’ other videos I assume that these creatures are the results of advanced decay due to some mold found in the backrooms, the way they describe the body iirc is like preserved yet rotting..
Currently they’re just monsters.
But there’s a lot of things at play.
There is a mold in the Backrooms that is either native or was brought over by someone and mutated.
A few think the mold or the Backrooms itself mutated A-SYNCs motion-capture cameras into the monsters cuz said monsters only attack after it senses movement.
It’s twice now in Kanes videos that a person heard people sounds prior to interacting with a monster.
I personally think the monsters could be the result of the Backrooms trying to either “defend itself” like a body from a virus,
or maybe it’s the Backrooms’ version of living creatures.
@@aliahpersonous2893 i support the idea of the backrooms replicating life. it seems to act like an AI replicating things from our world but not understand them completely, there are so few actual monsters because only one in thousands of "living beings" created by the backrooms actually stays alive.
we know that, living and non living objects dont have a fundamental difference, they are just different structures made by the same components, so i bet "living beings" would be "blacklisted" from the AI, if it can replicate a structure, it can replicate life.
I’ve been thinking about the mesh creatures as well and how they mimic human speech. Do they speak the words knowing what they mean or has pattern recognition conditioned these things to associate these noises with a meal?
I think it records what the last person they killed said, with the association that it attracts more people.
I think the creatures never hear anything other than when people somehow clip into the backrooms. Generally it's people freaking out and screaming, yelling for help. Perhaps those are the only sounds the creatures have ever heard while down there and they themselves have begun to kind of scream what they've heard before. Perhaps they're scared and alone too.
when he enters the room with the beds and backpack you can hear a crumpled version of a song from 2007 even though this takes place in 1991, the song's name is MGMG kids
absolutely tho I think it's not anymore in the video because of copyright. It could explain why the sound was glitched in the first version he uploaded
its good that even the giant facility doesnt completely know whats going on. i think the control over the backrooms in the form of m.e.g bases was the thing that ruined it in the first place.

I've actually dreamt of rooms similar to backrooms in my dreams. One of the rooms starts from my college where while meeting up an old friend i end up somewhere else. The room looks all pink and feminine with child like themes. Later the room exactly turns like one of these backrooms and then it turns blue and black with prison like rooms where there were some remains, like bones or skeletons. Someone who's in charge of cleaning the place rudely locks up the place and leaves me alone. It was creepy but nothing scary happened although it did seem like something was about to happen but not quite enough
The annother dream was like an escape room where all the rooms were just white and there was this CEO or the creator suited in formal clothes who was thinking how create the next room that people will be entering. It's just white and nothing else until it gets dark as you go deeper and something similar as the mesh monster happens to appear. I woke up just before i was trying to find a way to get out of the prison like room
Maybe we've seen backrooms in our own dreams many times
In a way, many more will see backrooms after this... no maybe the creator himself had dreams of those rooms?

I mean I had a dream of dark hall woth few lights and a very angry dog was running towards. I wanted to run but either frozen in fear or decided to fight back... but I escaped by waking up

I'm really digging this creator's sci-fi conception of the backrooms! My only issue with a lot of Kane Pixel's episodes where ASYNC personnel mainly portrayed is what the Prometheus movie suffered from: The personnel, presumably vetted as intelligent and qualified individuals to carry out careful exploration are irresponsible, careless, and dumb. Still, awesome writing and execution considering Kane Pixels is so young.
I thought that Async was pretty competent.

they boarded off the hallway with the pitfall room and installed a big, protective door around the main room, so they're not taking the monster lightly.

The monster looks so silly but it sounds so scary
Did you know that when the monster was mimicking it was actually mimicking the scientists voice from informationinal video from Kane pixels when he was being chased
That thing sounds like speed whenever he rages
During the chase, it sounded like several monsters were wailing
Really hope the monster gets tweaked. Everything else is amazing/creepy - especially in this episode; the pits, the mysterious door, the neighborhood area, the screaming, the interior of the house and the continued repetitive screaming.
What I think is terrifying is that we don't even know if Marvin made it back ( he prob did ) and that one member didn't even tell us what was out there but yeah we'll never know now.

Kane pixel is so talented at editing his backroom videos look so real i can,t believe how much effort he put in
8:50 that entity seemed to be what was in level 0, but it shouldn't right? skin-stealers would be more appropriate for this scenario since it can "speak/ mimic" to lure it's prey. Didn't know this entity does the same as well.

What makes the monster so scary is how he screams while chasing it’s like he recorded someone saying things and then killed the person and recorded the person screaming his lungs out it’s scary as hell as the monster mimicked screaming and that’s why I love this

Interesting video. The notion of "other dimension exploration" reminds me of Holdstock's "Mythago Woods".
What’s cool about the backrooms is that you could go years in it, and only go decimals through it. It’s crazy how big it can be, and how you can go through one area, then another and another, endlessly. It’s like a rabbit hole where you want to keep going, but also don’t wanna go to far as you can see many things you’ve never seen before.
3:34 one thing I will note is that we've seen 3 different tapes (red, white, and yellow) none of which seem to cross or overlap.
That “THATS NOT A F*CKING PERSON” is horrific is to hear, the panicked voice and muffled breathing under the mask, the weight of the suit may of been the weight of a feather when he started running.
