Just please bare in mind, out of state students will often get a puppy
or kitten for the semester. Thank God most students are not cruel, but
when its time to go back home, some students resort to abandoning the
pet. Ask any member of a pet shelter or rescue for the truth. I did a
horse rescue, but the sheriffs would find dogs tied to the trees in 90+
temps here in the desert. Don't ask me why they would not just take them
to the local animal shelter, I only understand animals not humans.
