Harley Race set the standard that will never be achieved again. He beat them all. A tough man, legit, and super respected. He was the NWA. RIP, Mr. Race✊👑
Rest in eternal peace Mr. Race. For many years I yelled at you right in that very place in Tampa. Whether you were fighting Dusty, Jack Brisco, Superstar, or any of the other great wrestlers in Tampa, you always gave the wrestling fans exactly what we came to see. A true professional, and awesome competitor. Again, thanks for the memories, and please rest well.

Yeah, his promos were more chilling because he DIDN'T raise his voice. This man always was the real deal in my eyes. I felt this way just seeing him in the Apter and Napolitano wrestling magazines without ever seeing him actually wrestle until he arrived in the WWF. I knew that he was passed his prime by that point, but, I was still excited to finally see the Great Harley Race in action! Thank you for the fantastic, awesome memories, Mr. Race. Rest in power, Sir. 🙏
His best and most intimidating look. This was the Harley I was introduced to in 1982-83 through the Apter and Napolitano magazines. Living in the Northeast with no cable tv (just WWF on WWOR), this look freaked me out. He was as tough in black and white as he was live.
Well said, Sir! I too first experienced Mr. Harley Race through the Apter and Napolitano magazines and I immediately knew, just from photos of him, that this man was the deal. His voice even sounded almost how I imagined that it would. Thank you, Mr. Harley Race for all of the awesome, wonderful memories. Fly easy, Sir. 🙏
Harley Race never cheated, never broke a rule and always wrestled by the book. There are so many great memories of him delivering well deserved beat downs on the likes of Dusty Rhodes and Barry Windham etc. Race's finest hour was when he and Austin Idol broke Tommy Rich's leg and took away his goal, and his dream.

He reminds me of Bronson or Eastwood. He just seemed to be so genuine.

He did those too . It just depended on the style of the promotion .

That parking lot has so many cool cars, i am dying with jealously
We need more Harley promos from the 70s, 80s NWA era
Harley was a bad man and the definition of a real man.
Harley should have pulled the keys out of the ignition. That dinging noise is annoying.
I agree pull the keys out, Mr Race !
😂😂😂 I know it. Such a bad a$$Lincoln too. Take the keys 🔑 out. It's Florida, Harley had several cold ones, maybe a quick toot 😅

All those stories about Harley speeding, and here he is parking that Lincoln like a retiree in Florida 🤔
Real men feared him
Harley Race could wrestle that car, if he wanted to.

Michael Connors Race’s bounty On Tommy rich and Ric Flair yeah that’s law abiding
Harley Race was the real badass until he passed the baton off to Haku.
Chuck Norris feared Harley Race.
Harley Race went to a feminist rally and came home with his shirt ironed holding a sandwich
@@ChrisManley1994 Ha Ha that is a good one I must plagiarize.
Lmao 😂😂😂@@ChrisManley1994

Mike Graham vs. Harley Race sounds like a main event at MSG any night of the week ....NOT!
