- I made over a huge bookcase to display my transfers and découpage paper in my little shop (degoeikamer.be/). I wanted a sage green colour, so I made a custom colour mix using 3 parts Olive and 1 part Coco. I used white wax as a finish. In the video I show you how you can avoid "lines" in you white wax and how you can make the look smoother.
Products used:
- Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Olive

- Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Coco

Thank you so much! ❤️
Great idea to use the clear wax! Looks beautiful~
Thank you! 😊
Hi Leen, beautiful work as always! The only thing i don't understand is why you didn't paint the bookcase inside your garage. I don't know if you explained this but, yes, i did think you two were crazy to paint outside in that weather.
Hopefully, soon, you will give us a tour of your shop. I would love to see it. Have a great week. Stay warm.
Haha... Good point! I actually didn't even think about it at the time, because I thought it wouldn't fit. But now you mention it, I think it maybe could have. 🤣🙈
Hello from Portugal, your work is amazing and today is no exception. Everything you paint has realy a extr aordinarily good taste. If for any chace this Spring or Summer I went in Belgien I would like very much to visit yor shop. All the best for you. Helena Luísa Ribeiro ( sorry for any writting errors in english)

Thank you! 🙃😘
Très beau!
Merci! 😊😍
mooi werk amay
Dankjewel!
Nice job, Leen 😉 I've got a question: why didn't you move white wax with clear wax in the first place? It's worked for me so far - I've never had to use mineral spirits 🤔
Hi Nina! The reason I had to use mineral spirits isn't because I didn't use clear wax, but because I couldn't finish the job in one day. So the wax had already set when I could finish the top part on another day. Even if I would have used clear wax underneath it would have set and wouldn't be able to move it around and blend in. Therefore I had to remove a bit with mineral spirits and then finish with the last part. 😘
@@New_Renaissance ok, I get it. I guess, in my case, the wax was still fresh enough to move it around with clear wax 🤔 Anyway, keeping in mind the tip 😉 Hugs from cols Spain 😘
A heat gun will reactivate the wax and allow you to blend it in.
Oh my gosh, I didn't know!! That's such a great idea. Thank you!! 👍😍
