"Nothing Else Matters" is a song by American heavy metal band Metallica. It was released in 1992 as the third single from their self-titled fifth studio album, Metallica. The song peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart as well as top-ten positions on many European charts. "Nothing Else Matters" was featured as a playable track in the music video game Guitar Hero: Metallica. Recognised as one of Metallica's best known and most popular songs, it has become a staple in live performances. The song has been covered nearly 100 times.

That's excellent it means you keep practice and practice and that's very important, some could learn it in days, in a week the thing is to practice until get it right, it's a personal challenge 👍

He is my neighbor and he had spine cancer. They didn't find it out soon enough. By the time they discovered it, it was already stage 4 or something. Poor soul RIP

Wow I really appreciate your instructional help with this song. I hate Barr chords because I haven't been playing long with my guitar. Now I can use open chords instead of Barr chords. I'm still slow as hell with the tempo but I can at least tell what the song is by the sound. That's good for me. Thank you again. You seem to know how to break it down for people like me who are just starting out in my guitar 🎸 journey.
Been meaning to do this one for a while, it sounds just awesome. Not as hard as it seemed, either. As a rule I find it hard to learn to play songs I haven’t been listening to for 30 years, but this was an exception. The lyrics are kind of dopey IMHO, but this sounds fantastic as an instrumental. The nice thing about playing the barre chords as an arpeggio is that you test each note of the chord, so it’s a nice check on whether the chord is solid - an added bonus! Anyway, many thanks for another fantastic lesson!

this is one of my favourite songs of all time and i love the guitar parts, i have always wanted to learn this song on my guitar,but as i am a self teaching guitarist i can't play bar chords very well or at all, and i have seen a few tutorials and thought maybe i best just keep practicing bar chords and hopefully one day be able to play this song. Half an hour watching this video on repeat, i can play the open chord version. thanks for the awesome video! ....i can finally play this and with a bit more refinery and practice it will be great!
