- Ike, our 6 months old black Labrador and Joey, his 6 year old Golden Retriever houseguest, during one of their countless daily "fights" to determine who's the strongest of the day.
No video cutting, no explanatory text, no background music -- just 2 minutes of raw force ;-)

Yeah well, that was 4.5 years ago ;-) The Golden retriever was 6 years old and the Lab a bit more than 6 months. Maybe today, it's the Lab who'd be the little nervous UFC fighter and the Golden just loves to take it easy ;-))) Thanks for watching

;-) Thanks for watching. Well the Lab is mine and the Golden Retriever is a (regular) guest - so when it comes to talking "favorites", I may have a slightly different opinion ;-))) They are both great.
You need to be a referee for that playtime! Two competitors in good shape! U did the right thing to call for timeout! The lab was in trouble!! Strong dogs that love to rumble.

They are really cute, but I thought the golden retrievers are the mild and humble type that would never get in a fight.
Chapman Y They certainly are ;-) Joey has proven his endless patience every day since we got Ike at the age of 8 weeks. But once in a while, even the mildest Golden Retriever looses his patience - which by the way, has never traumatised Ike in any way whatsoever. Don't worry, they are enjoying it and nobody risks getting killed.
I am currently compiling another video of the situation before and after this scene (online soon) - its just the daily routine between a little nervous 6 months old who is constantly challenging a mature -and endlessly patient- 6 year old .

why your labrador size so small? they have same age
Thanks for watching. No, they were not the same age: Joey the Golden Retriever was 6 years, Ike the Labrador was 6 months. Meanwhile Ike will be 4 years at the end of this month. He has grown since but is still a bit smaller than Joey (who is going to be 10 years in spring) Ike is more the small, nervous type ;-)

Ah.. Sorry, i was wrong to eead, and it's cool to know about they all still alive.. But Ike is still on labrador standar size right? I love labrador, and i have 1 dog labrador/golden retriever/doberman mixed name kokki, he is 5 month old now..hehe
No problem. Yes, Ike is a standard size labrardor but when I compare him to others in the street, he's very often the smaller one ;-) As I said, he's the small, nervous type who compensates his "lack" of size with an excess of energy. If you have a look at my UA-cam channel, there are two playlists: one with Ike's and Joey's adventures, one with Ike alone. Enjoy.
small standart height of labrador as i know on internet is around 60 cm or 24' at the withreas right? I saw ike have prportional body, even he's not large, but he's look healthy. I hope my lab mix could get more tall than Ike,

Not violence, just daily routine.If you browse through the entire playlist you'll see that they have been best friends since they met for the first time when the Lab was 8 weeks old. Now he is 16 months and it still goes on - and they'll spend part of the summer together again. So stay tuned for new upcoming videos .. .;-))
