Speeding in Mytchett and what I am doing about it and some other related issues including speed bumps and a reduction in speed limit from 30mph to 20mph.
Thanks Paul, Ref speed bumps - Another hazard living close to an A+E department is that of broken bodies. I broke my neck a few years ago in Heatherside (thankfully, a pretty full recovery followed) and the route the Ambulance had to take to avoid the bumps doubled my journey time, even on blues. I do think road planners should think about these issues when deciding to install them
Agree about speed bumps. We have one outside our house in Chobham Road and they are noisy - particularly noticeable very early in the day as cars with trailors and trucks go over the bump off for a day of work. Never mind deceleration/acceleration the clang of loose bits jumping on the bump is a penetrating noise - worse than small cc motor bikes.
The cars go very fast along hamsmore road aswell, could do with speed cameras along this road aswell, I have nearly been knocked down a couple of time when walking my dog around 9pm, and fallen over once trying to get out the way
