Gaston definitely fits the “I have everything I wanted and yet I still want more” description. Because all the ladies in town wants him and he choose Belle. Not because he actually likes her or because Belle brought his good side out. But because Belle was the only girl who wasn’t interested in him and to Gaston, he saw it as a challenge to conquer. He could have all the girls in town but when one girl rejected him it’s hurt his swallow pride and he throw a fit like a spoiled rich toddler not getting what he wants. I will actually give credit to Mother Gothel because she had her way for a long ass time and perfectly gaslighted Rapunzel but things just didn't work out and she actually did force her to listen at the end and even stabbed the Flynn when he came to save Rapunzel she only gave them that last moment because she thought he to weak and didn't know he had the knife nor that he would use it to cut her hair before she healed him.

And then when it came to besieging the castle, this man, who's killed an entire forests worth of animals, can summon an army by singing a song, *AND PULL 3 SEQUENTIAL SHOTS OUT OF A MUSSEL LOADING BLUNDERBUSS!* He decides to fight the 400lb superhuman monster who can climb walls in the slick rain in hand to hand combat in the most hazardous conditions with no room to maneuver. Gaston's like me when I first play RPG games, I unlock all the badass powers by accident use them all at once before the big fight and die like an idiot on easy mode because I don't know how to play.
The thing was Gaston was just a guy that hunted well and got overhyped. He didn't know Beast had the pull up just that it was a beast doing "Things" to the one girl in the village that didn't worship him. He was never smart enough past 4th grade and given this is set in old-time France where a good education is not only rare but viewed as a waste of time. Gaston hunted every beast out there and thought Beast was just a beast, not something just as smart hell smarter than him in both brains, muscles and status. Also Gaston got everyone into a mob frenzy as of late and got stupid drunk on the power.

I truly never understood Jafar's inane desire to be the sultan. He had the actual sultan under his thumb, he lived in luxury while the people were literally stealing bread to survive, and he had pretty powerful magic even before the Genie got involved. No wonder Aladdin knew he'd fall for the "make me a genie" wish, bro needs to learn to appreciate what he got before worrying about what's next.
I think it was most likely his ego and pride. He just couldn't handle the fact that there was always someone above him even if it was just a title. He was just that petty. That why they were able to beat him by making him a genie, cause he was blinded once again by the thought of someone being recognized as more powerful
To be fair, he would have to deal with Jasmine becoming a ruler, once she got married, so he probably would have been thrown out if he so much as twitched in her general direction. Granted, why he didn't just wish to be ruler of the world, that may have been a huge missed oppurtunity on his part.
We call those people megalomaniacs. Always craving more and more power, and it would never be enough no matter how much you get. After becoming a Genie, Jafar would've wanted to become God, and we all know what happened to the guy who wanted to become God.
In my humble opnion the reason is the next: He wanted to be the figure head. Of course being the man behind the most powerful man in the country is nice, but not matter what you make him do all the praises are going to be for him, while you can pat yourself in the back. Tell me, what is better having the control of the country in secret while a bufoon is sung praises, or ruling a country while being worshipped by everyone who is below you.
Kaa got faded by Baloo though. I'm not saying she's not a menace, but comparing how Sheer Kahn dealt with Baloo vs Kaa...😬 Naw but you're right about Louie. He don't need NO MORE POWER over humans.
That's the thing about Shere Khan I hated in the live action. He's supposed to be a smooth operator who menaces from the shadows and wants Mowgli dead for daring to be in HIS jungle and not being an animal. He only attacks Mowgli when he's alone and never confronted the wolf pack.
Jafar's problem is that he lost sight of the goal. Firstly, he really is basically ruling the kingdom. As far prosperity is concerned, Agrabah is the way it is because of his advice and manipulation. So, if he wanted to take over the kingdom, even the sultan dying would have gotten him the kingdom. Everyone should already trust him. Second, he only wanted Jasmine because he didn't have the lamp. Once he had the lamp, he had no use for Jasmine. So, why force her to marry him? He lost sight of the goal.

No, Kaa was absolutely massive in the OG jungle book movie too. That's a common theme seen with ALL versions of Kaa, where they play and exaggerate Kaa's size. As for Louie, the reason they changed King Louie to a Gigantopithecus(An extinct orangutan relative who at the time the 2016 remake came out, was thought to be found in India) was simply because Orangutans aren't native to India.

Except that Facilier wasn't messing with demons. They're Loa and that's his religion. Or are you gonna shame the man for his beliefs too? The patf movie satanized voodoo tho, and made it seem like Facilier had made a pact with the Devil when that's not the case. Given that his character is partly based on the Loa of dead and resurrection Baron Samedi, and Baron Samedi is the leader of the Guede Loa, it's probable those are his "friends on the other side", Guede Loa, and they’re not deities either. In voodoo the Supreme creator is Bondye, and the Loa are just spirits who work for Bondye, and act as mediators between him and humanity. Given his race, his probable background and the era he lived in, Facilier was probably so mistreated by white folks in general, he went to the Loa to ask for help, and they gave him some form of "magic powers" in exchange of him paying them with souls. It was a fair deal. So no, Facilier wasn't dealing with demons, and he wasn't taken to Hell either, as voodoo doesn't believe in Heaven and Hell. So yeah, don't shove him with the other villains and their stupid motivations, my mans was justified.

To be fair though mowgli’s dad was a weak human. A big, buff, smart human with weaponized fire really WOULD be able to dominate the forest with their other complex tools and skills. Flaming arrows to kill from a distance, setting areas ablaze to make other animals keep their distance, pretty much any weapons wrapped in flammable material. A really smart human would’ve had some sort of trap set in advance for an animal like that tiger and even then he wouldn’t even need fire to end this man at that point just a sword or spear or club or whatever. He saw the true potential of man from what a weak human could do to him permanently with just a little bit of a single invention of theirs. Now the ape I have no idea though he really seems as smart as us lmao. Also I’m NOT saying that this guy is wrong and the tiger wasn’t doing too much, he was, the snake and the ape were far far scarier, it was absurd and he took the L for it, but it’s not completely absurd to be scared of humans in the context of that story though.

In the defense of shere Khan, He's the only tiger left in the jungle because the humans hunted his species out and he was one of the last few if not the last one. Shere Khan was afraid that Mowgli would return to the human village and tell them of all the animals that he saw and it would put them all on a shirt
I dunno about the whole “not having it that bad thing” hades was forced to be alone in the underworld with two annoying demons and hid widdle vicious Cerberus! Hell just a couple years would drive anyone to madness and evil, if not the complete and utter loneliness or the massive amount of DEAD.
He could still walk into Olympus whenever he felt like it and not be kicked out. At the start of the movie, when all of the Gods are celebrating Hercules's party, and Hades walks in, it's true that everyone gave him looks, but no one asked him to leave. Heck, Zeus himself asked him to stay and celebrate with them, and Hades left willingly. And Pain and Panic, are still good company, despite being incompetent. At least they can make a man laugh, and that should count for something. In my opinion, no villain is or was as isolated as Facilier. He was poor, hungry, in a time period where racism was pretty common and worse than it is today, where he was probably judged and hated, not only for his skin color, but also for his religion. Let's keep in mind voodoo is a religion, not a magic system. Voodoo isn't dark magic. It's a religion that was probably also judged in that era, where Christianity was the norm, and any other belief was viewed as "pagan". Besides, he was alone. No friends (Lawrence wasn't a friend, just an unlucky, dumb ally), or family. Like, looking at most villains, most of them have at least one other person who supports them, Facilier had no one but himself. Gaston had Lefou and the entire village idolized him. Jafar was basically ruling the country. Scar had an army of hyenas who trusted him. Shan yu also had a huge army who supported all his actions. Maleficient also had an army. Hades at least had Pain, Panic and Megara. Frollo was a very important and authoritative figure in Paris in his movie, he had some form of power. Facilier was poor, probably always hungry (have you seen the guy? Dudes basically a walking skeleton), hated and judged by most everyone for things he can't control, indebted to superior entities who threaten him with death, and to top it all off has absolutely no one to support him. Mans was probably depressed, like no wonder he has dark circles around his eyes, my man can't sleep for shit with everything he had going on in his life. In my opinion he's the only justified villain in his actions, or at least the only one with a strong enough motivation to do everything he did. Pd: forgot to mention Ursula from the Little Mermaid. She was banished and isolated from society, but didn't seem to have it as bad as Facilier. After all, when Ariel goes to her, it's revealed that Ursula has an entire garden filled with merfolk who've went to strike a deal with her/ask for a favor, turned into the weird little ugly shrimp things. Which implies people went to her pretty often, for her to have that many of em. Facilier struggled so much with his debt, he literally had to con a real prince and kill a man, in an attempt to get some semblance of power. Besides, Ursula is very well-fed, despite her line of her "being wasted away and reduced to nothing but bones"? I think that's what she said, so she at least had good access to food unlike Facilier, and that's a point in her favor. And she wasn't indebted to anyone putting her life at risk. And we don't know about her motivations. Like, she wanted Triton's trident to rule the seas for what reason exactly? Cause she was mistreated? We know nothing bout that either. So yeah, even Ursula had it better. Case in point, Facilier is the only villain with a reasonable enough motivation, given the conditions he lived under imo.

Problem is, sloth bears like to attack first never ask questions later. They're basically a chainsaw with sentience, and they scare off tigers. If Baloo is a sloth bear like he's supposed to be, then Kaa probably should have just dipped the second he showed up.

I was worried there would be Ursula slander, but she had a reasonable goal. Gain power over the ocean by stealing Triton's trident. The plan trick his youngest daughter into a deal, make the seal to the deal impossible by stealing her voice, convince Triton to switch places to save his daughter, snatch his trident and crown, profit. If only her victory location wasn't right above a ship graveyard. She's one of the few villains who actually stood a chance against the protagonist and almost won.

Correct me if I am wrong, but being a grand Vizier could be better than being a Sultan in some cases. You are the ruler's right-hand man, and often, you're the one coming up with ideas on how to run the show. People recognize you as the effective head of government; you carry the royal seal, and you get to boss other Viziers in the kingdom around. The best part is, if you are a good Vizier, and the kingdom gets taken over, the Sultan dies, but you might get to keep your position as you're too useful to depose but have to claim the throne. If shit really goes bad, the Grand Vizier could work fast and convince people everything wrong was someone else's fault. But Jaffer just had to be in the spotlight.

Live action maleficents actually is pretty justified in handing out the curse but she curses the wrong person, she should have cursed the king. The king was practically piping the strongest fea in the enchanted woods but once he's offered the king position if he gets maleficent's wings and dude says "okay" and does it, all for a kingdom half the size and 1/10 as fantastical as the enchanted woods, he could have lived in those woods and be with the strongest fea in the forest and practically have more power than a king but nooooo. You betray your girl for power like some modern hoe just for a promotion, granted its a high promotion but was it worth it in the end? Nah! And he has the nerve to have her wings on display? To be totally fair, in the e jungle book novel by Rudyard Kipling, Kaa was just big. She wasn't strong by jungle standards like shere Khan or the leader of the Wolf Pack or Bagheera. Hell, Mowgli's mother was literally called "the demon" (Raksha) because she was so strong. Kaa was thousands of years old, and though she was ginormous, she was more wise instead of physically strong. Plus she could literally get distracted and then get lost in her own memory which was thousands of years long. She was not the menace.
In the Jungle Book novel Shere Khan is a violent loner whose hated rather than feared. His crippling injury means he's actually a pretty crap hunter leading to him preying on humans, which pisses off the other animals because they know it will bring retaliation.

What would say about the original shere khan, is he better to you or is he like most villains you could think of? Me growing slowly picked a pattern where Disney villains are used for more flare than function. E.g. being singing a catchy, make a creepy moment or two but probably haven't given themselves a actual. Chance to do their own tasks with any merit aside for calling fools or act supposedly imposing.
That bear is a sloth bear. They commonly catch tiger bodies. Dont get me wrong, tigers commonly also kill sloth bears, but the bears catch tigers slipping so often that tigers will often step back if they lose the element of surprise. This is because a sloth bear has the hardware of a black bear, but the software of a prey animal. They will absolutely rip a tiger to shreds if they believe they could be a threat. That bear alone has a good chance of winning, but add on a wolf pack? That tiger is absolutely, 100% losing no matter what
It's not quite the same vibe as the other Disney villains, but if you wanna talk about people who had it all, we have to talk about Syndrome. This dude had the means to get everything he said he wanted with next to no effort. He was inventing technology that made Supers irrelevant even before the Omni-Droid. Imagine if this guy sold that immobilizer ray or those orb guns to the military, what would any enemy of the U.S. do? He could literally become the Tony Stark of Incredibles, making weapons that literal superpowers could barely overcome while working together and becoming a genius playboy billionaire philanthropist. You know he had the money since he had dozens of minions and an island HQ. All he wanted in the end was prestige, and he even said it didn't need to be from Mr. Incredible after a while! He just wanted people to look at him with respect and praise, and he had every means to make that happen without becoming a Super! Heck, becoming a Super isn't even all that anymore because they're illegal, so what's the point?! Even then, he could easily have just become an actual hero! What is any villain gonna do against his technology? He could very easily develop drones with multiple functions and be the Mr. Terrific of his world. There is nothing, I mean nothing, preventing him from becoming a hero millions of times more effective than any Super besides his own pettiness. And as a little aside, Mr. Incredible's an idiot too! Buddy was coming up with revolutionary technology at like 12. Those rocket boots would absolutely be helpful to a guy who just has super strength. This is all Mr. Incredible needed to say: "Hey, this is a dangerous situation, but let's talk after I've handled this terrorist, alright?" And then he would have had all the tech and gadgets he needed forever! Forget Rick Dicker, get Incredi-Boy on the scene. I'm convinced the only reason Bob is a hero is for the adrenaline because he keeps making stupid choices like this. The dude has been a hero for years but goes to the most obviously evil island I've ever seen and doesn't suspect a thing. Alright.
Cinderella’s stepmother was foiled by her own pride. She wanted one of her daughters to marry into royalty, but when the opportunity fell right onto her lap, she turned it away, just because the one opening the door for her wasn’t her “real” daughter. I have no doubt that Cinderella would have instantly forgiven her stepfamily if they had appeared to have a change of heart in time and support her with the prince. Lady Tremaine could have at least PRETENDED to redeem herself and use Cinderella as an in to the royal family. In the live action version, she does try this, but where she slips up is that she is upfront about using Cinderella, practically blackmailing her, instead of pretending to have changed to fool her.
To be fair, Jungle Book really upscale the animals bro, sloth bears are very small in real life and Indian wolves are 40 pounds so Shere Khan taking them in a fight is more believable once you factor that math into the equation

in the novels and illustrated books Kaa was just a reticulated python who's often bullied by Sherkhan while the Gigantopithecus was just a smart Orangutan in the forest ruling over a bunch of Macaques so in a way they ain't exaggerating with being Sherkhan being the ruler of the forest and Sherkhan's fears was actually quite true as Tribe's or settlements keep pushing and pushing through the forest by burning it down with fire.

I truly never understood Jafar's inane desire to be the sultan. He had the actual sultan under his thumb, he lived in luxury while the people were literally stealing bread to survive, and he had pretty powerful magic even before the Genie got involved. No wonder Aladdin knew he'd fall for the "make me a genie" wish, bro needs to learn to appreciate what he got before worrying about what's next.
I think it was most likely his ego and pride. He just couldn't handle the fact that there was always someone above him even if it was just a title. He was just that petty. That why they were able to beat him by making him a genie, cause he was blinded once again by the thought of someone being recognized as more powerful
To be fair, he would have to deal with Jasmine becoming a ruler, once she got married, so he probably would have been thrown out if he so much as twitched in her general direction. Granted, why he didn't just wish to be ruler of the world, that may have been a huge missed oppurtunity on his part.
We call those people megalomaniacs. Always craving more and more power, and it would never be enough no matter how much you get. After becoming a Genie, Jafar would've wanted to become God, and we all know what happened to the guy who wanted to become God.
In my humble opnion the reason is the next: He wanted to be the figure head. Of course being the man behind the most powerful man in the country is nice, but not matter what you make him do all the praises are going to be for him, while you can pat yourself in the back.
Tell me, what is better having the control of the country in secret while a bufoon is sung praises, or ruling a country while being worshipped by everyone who is below you.

That's the thing about Shere Khan I hated in the live action. He's supposed to be a smooth operator who menaces from the shadows and wants Mowgli dead for daring to be in HIS jungle and not being an animal. He only attacks Mowgli when he's alone and never confronted the wolf pack.
Jafar's problem is that he lost sight of the goal. Firstly, he really is basically ruling the kingdom. As far prosperity is concerned, Agrabah is the way it is because of his advice and manipulation. So, if he wanted to take over the kingdom, even the sultan dying would have gotten him the kingdom. Everyone should already trust him. Second, he only wanted Jasmine because he didn't have the lamp. Once he had the lamp, he had no use for Jasmine. So, why force her to marry him? He lost sight of the goal.
Jafar really be like: "Is it really a true takeover of a kingdom, if I didn't do it out in the open?"

Given that his character is partly based on the Loa of dead and resurrection Baron Samedi, and Baron Samedi is the leader of the Guede Loa, it's probable those are his "friends on the other side", Guede Loa, and they’re not deities either. In voodoo the Supreme creator is Bondye, and the Loa are just spirits who work for Bondye, and act as mediators between him and humanity. Given his race, his probable background and the era he lived in, Facilier was probably so mistreated by white folks in general, he went to the Loa to ask for help, and they gave him some form of "magic powers" in exchange of him paying them with souls. It was a fair deal. So no, Facilier wasn't dealing with demons, and he wasn't taken to Hell either, as voodoo doesn't believe in Heaven and Hell. So yeah, don't shove him with the other villains and their stupid motivations, my mans was justified.

To be fair though mowgli’s dad was a weak human. A big, buff, smart human with weaponized fire really WOULD be able to dominate the forest with their other complex tools and skills. Flaming arrows to kill from a distance, setting areas ablaze to make other animals keep their distance, pretty much any weapons wrapped in flammable material. A really smart human would’ve had some sort of trap set in advance for an animal like that tiger and even then he wouldn’t even need fire to end this man at that point just a sword or spear or club or whatever. He saw the true potential of man from what a weak human could do to him permanently with just a little bit of a single invention of theirs. Now the ape I have no idea though he really seems as smart as us lmao. Also I’m NOT saying that this guy is wrong and the tiger wasn’t doing too much, he was, the snake and the ape were far far scarier, it was absurd and he took the L for it, but it’s not completely absurd to be scared of humans in the context of that story though.

I dunno about the whole “not having it that bad thing” hades was forced to be alone in the underworld with two annoying demons and hid widdle vicious Cerberus! Hell just a couple years would drive anyone to madness and evil, if not the complete and utter loneliness or the massive amount of DEAD.
He could still walk into Olympus whenever he felt like it and not be kicked out. At the start of the movie, when all of the Gods are celebrating Hercules's party, and Hades walks in, it's true that everyone gave him looks, but no one asked him to leave. Heck, Zeus himself asked him to stay and celebrate with them, and Hades left willingly. And Pain and Panic, are still good company, despite being incompetent. At least they can make a man laugh, and that should count for something. In my opinion, no villain is or was as isolated as Facilier. He was poor, hungry, in a time period where racism was pretty common and worse than it is today, where he was probably judged and hated, not only for his skin color, but also for his religion. Let's keep in mind voodoo is a religion, not a magic system. Voodoo isn't dark magic. It's a religion that was probably also judged in that era, where Christianity was the norm, and any other belief was viewed as "pagan". Besides, he was alone. No friends (Lawrence wasn't a friend, just an unlucky, dumb ally), or family. Like, looking at most villains, most of them have at least one other person who supports them, Facilier had no one but himself. Gaston had Lefou and the entire village idolized him. Jafar was basically ruling the country. Scar had an army of hyenas who trusted him. Shan yu also had a huge army who supported all his actions. Maleficient also had an army. Hades at least had Pain, Panic and Megara. Frollo was a very important and authoritative figure in Paris in his movie, he had some form of power. Facilier was poor, probably always hungry (have you seen the guy? Dudes basically a walking skeleton), hated and judged by most everyone for things he can't control, indebted to superior entities who threaten him with death, and to top it all off has absolutely no one to support him. Mans was probably depressed, like no wonder he has dark circles around his eyes, my man can't sleep for shit with everything he had going on in his life. In my opinion he's the only justified villain in his actions, or at least the only one with a strong enough motivation to do everything he did.
Pd: forgot to mention Ursula from the Little Mermaid. She was banished and isolated from society, but didn't seem to have it as bad as Facilier. After all, when Ariel goes to her, it's revealed that Ursula has an entire garden filled with merfolk who've went to strike a deal with her/ask for a favor, turned into the weird little ugly shrimp things. Which implies people went to her pretty often, for her to have that many of em. Facilier struggled so much with his debt, he literally had to con a real prince and kill a man, in an attempt to get some semblance of power. Besides, Ursula is very well-fed, despite her line of her "being wasted away and reduced to nothing but bones"? I think that's what she said, so she at least had good access to food unlike Facilier, and that's a point in her favor. And she wasn't indebted to anyone putting her life at risk. And we don't know about her motivations. Like, she wanted Triton's trident to rule the seas for what reason exactly? Cause she was mistreated? We know nothing bout that either. So yeah, even Ursula had it better. Case in point, Facilier is the only villain with a reasonable enough motivation, given the conditions he lived under imo.

I was worried there would be Ursula slander, but she had a reasonable goal. Gain power over the ocean by stealing Triton's trident. The plan trick his youngest daughter into a deal, make the seal to the deal impossible by stealing her voice, convince Triton to switch places to save his daughter, snatch his trident and crown, profit. If only her victory location wasn't right above a ship graveyard. She's one of the few villains who actually stood a chance against the protagonist and almost won.

In the original Jungle Book, Shere Kahn was kinda sympathetic; he only hunted humans because he had a limp leg and couldn't catch anything else.
Correct me if I am wrong, but being a grand Vizier could be better than being a Sultan in some cases. You are the ruler's right-hand man, and often, you're the one coming up with ideas on how to run the show. People recognize you as the effective head of government; you carry the royal seal, and you get to boss other Viziers in the kingdom around. The best part is, if you are a good Vizier, and the kingdom gets taken over, the Sultan dies, but you might get to keep your position as you're too useful to depose but have to claim the throne. If shit really goes bad, the Grand Vizier could work fast and convince people everything wrong was someone else's fault. But Jaffer just had to be in the spotlight.

To be totally fair, in the e jungle book novel by Rudyard Kipling, Kaa was just big. She wasn't strong by jungle standards like shere Khan or the leader of the Wolf Pack or Bagheera. Hell, Mowgli's mother was literally called "the demon" (Raksha) because she was so strong.
Kaa was thousands of years old, and though she was ginormous, she was more wise instead of physically strong. Plus she could literally get distracted and then get lost in her own memory which was thousands of years long.
She was not the menace.
In the Jungle Book novel Shere Khan is a violent loner whose hated rather than feared. His crippling injury means he's actually a pretty crap hunter leading to him preying on humans, which pisses off the other animals because they know it will bring retaliation.

What would say about the original shere khan, is he better to you or is he like most villains you could think of? Me growing slowly picked a pattern where Disney villains are used for more flare than function. E.g. being singing a catchy, make a creepy moment or two but probably haven't given themselves a actual. Chance to do their own tasks with any merit aside for calling fools or act supposedly imposing.

They commonly catch tiger bodies. Dont get me wrong, tigers commonly also kill sloth bears, but the bears catch tigers slipping so often that tigers will often step back if they lose the element of surprise.
This is because a sloth bear has the hardware of a black bear, but the software of a prey animal. They will absolutely rip a tiger to shreds if they believe they could be a threat. That bear alone has a good chance of winning, but add on a wolf pack? That tiger is absolutely, 100% losing no matter what
It's not quite the same vibe as the other Disney villains, but if you wanna talk about people who had it all, we have to talk about Syndrome. This dude had the means to get everything he said he wanted with next to no effort.
He was inventing technology that made Supers irrelevant even before the Omni-Droid. Imagine if this guy sold that immobilizer ray or those orb guns to the military, what would any enemy of the U.S. do? He could literally become the Tony Stark of Incredibles, making weapons that literal superpowers could barely overcome while working together and becoming a genius playboy billionaire philanthropist. You know he had the money since he had dozens of minions and an island HQ. All he wanted in the end was prestige, and he even said it didn't need to be from Mr. Incredible after a while! He just wanted people to look at him with respect and praise, and he had every means to make that happen without becoming a Super! Heck, becoming a Super isn't even all that anymore because they're illegal, so what's the point?!
Even then, he could easily have just become an actual hero! What is any villain gonna do against his technology? He could very easily develop drones with multiple functions and be the Mr. Terrific of his world. There is nothing, I mean nothing, preventing him from becoming a hero millions of times more effective than any Super besides his own pettiness.
And as a little aside, Mr. Incredible's an idiot too! Buddy was coming up with revolutionary technology at like 12. Those rocket boots would absolutely be helpful to a guy who just has super strength. This is all Mr. Incredible needed to say:
"Hey, this is a dangerous situation, but let's talk after I've handled this terrorist, alright?"
And then he would have had all the tech and gadgets he needed forever! Forget Rick Dicker, get Incredi-Boy on the scene. I'm convinced the only reason Bob is a hero is for the adrenaline because he keeps making stupid choices like this. The dude has been a hero for years but goes to the most obviously evil island I've ever seen and doesn't suspect a thing. Alright.
Cinderella’s stepmother was foiled by her own pride. She wanted one of her daughters to marry into royalty, but when the opportunity fell right onto her lap, she turned it away, just because the one opening the door for her wasn’t her “real” daughter. I have no doubt that Cinderella would have instantly forgiven her stepfamily if they had appeared to have a change of heart in time and support her with the prince. Lady Tremaine could have at least PRETENDED to redeem herself and use Cinderella as an in to the royal family. In the live action version, she does try this, but where she slips up is that she is upfront about using Cinderella, practically blackmailing her, instead of pretending to have changed to fool her.

in the novels and illustrated books Kaa was just a reticulated python who's often bullied by Sherkhan while the Gigantopithecus was just a smart Orangutan in the forest ruling over a bunch of Macaques so in a way they ain't exaggerating with being Sherkhan being the ruler of the forest and Sherkhan's fears was actually quite true as Tribe's or settlements keep pushing and pushing through the forest by burning it down with fire.
Don't give this dude the Kingdom Hearts series, cause the villains in the series fumble the bag easy.
