Hi George, welcome to the pen journey. Pen costs depend on numerous factors make and model, condition, coulor etc etc so it is very subjective. And it depend what someone wants to pay for a pen. Good luck.
Absolutely gorgeous pens. I already have the roller-ball (gifted from my son). I have a question - when you test the writing ability of fountain pens, you often 'dip' them which means there's plenty of ink to write with. I've found in many of mine that ink 'starvation' is a problem (even though the pen is full). I've kept them scrupulously clean and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any advice?
Thanks for watching, im glad you like them. Always difficult to advice when i do not have the pen at hand so it could be a number of reasons. The main one you have already mentioned, however i personaly will dissasemble a pen to deep clean it but i do not expect everyone to do the same. Good luck

I think the 144 is nicer than the 149. Classy item.
It is a little too slim for me as i prefer a larger pen. But everyone to their own. Thank you.
