There’s a fantastic sandalwood oil from Swiss Arabian, “Spanish Sandalwood.” I often use this in my unscented body oils to add fragrance. Amazing to layer with but super creamy and comforting for bedtime as well. Can’t go wrong. Ty for the video.

Have you had your nose on Santal Kardamon? It’s Maison L’ancome. A deep love for me because it’s not easy to find fragrance where the sandalwood does take centre stage, well shares centre stage with Kardamon. It’s very grown and not an easy reach but lush.

Hm, I've never noticed sandalwood in mon guerlain, I'll have to go sniff again and see if I pick it up. I do love sandalwood, and my favorite sandalwood fragrance has been discontinued (though I have a back up bottle and a few travel sprays) so I'm going to check some of these out.

Tom Ford's Santal Blush & Oud Wood & Metallique all give me different good! goodt! Sandalwood experiences. Byredo's Gypsy Water, Mojave Ghost have pretty Sandalwood notes that are inoffensive. Bond #9 Queens is powerful but yummy sexy. I agree, Jasmins Marzipane is fantastic! I want the large bottle too. Bois 1920 Sushi Imperiale's dry down is gorgeous: I pair this with BBW Aloe -Orange Sandalwood body cream. Last, BBW Aromatherapy Inspire - Violet, Sandalwood, Eucalyptus is strong but beautiful as a bedtime fragrance. Keep these one-note series coming!
Yeah, I tried Mon Guerlain edp and didn't like it. Then I tried Libre and realized I don't like lavender. It overwhelms everything for me and that's all I can smell. Vetiver and lavender are no-nos for me.

Great video Aura Sensuelle and Perfect intense are very good. You are right the aura line is definitely interesting I really like the og too and own it but only wear it in cold weather The Jasmins Marzipan is beautiful 💕
The way you describe This is her makes me want to love it so so bad but weirdly enough, on my skin, it gets super thick and the whipped cream is almost unbearable (which is odd for me because I love all the Lactonic, creamy, milky notes) it turns so so so sweet on my skin and the sandalwood is more in the background and I don’t get as much of it as I wish I did. 🥺 I had to declutter it and gave it to my aunt. She loved it 🥰

Tera, have you tried “This Is Us” from Zadig and Voltaire? I just picked it up and I’m in love with it! I definitely smell the dna of the original with that milky sandalwood, but it comes off just a tad brighter and just as long lasting.

I just got Cocolicious yesterday! It sooo nice! I meant to wear it today, but I forgot 😂 I was not expecting it to be something I could wear in fall and winter with coconut but I definitely will be!
Unfortunately I get no whipped cream from Zadig & Voltaire but I get lot’s of sandalwood and jasmine and that pink pepper, It had to grow on me. I purchased it for the lactonic note that everyone but me seems to pick up on and that’s unfortunate. My favorite sandalwood fragrance is Estée Lauder’s Sensuous Nude. Speaking of milky creamy notes , could you do a series on perfumes that have a lactonic note ?
I want to try Loewe 001 Woman- has a lot of sandalwood supposedly. I also have Santal Musc by Narciso- it’s a nice, hippy sandalwood that actually smells mostly like sandalwood.
I really wanted to love the D&G Garden, in the bottle it smelled beautiful, but it didn't hit my skin right so I had to sell it. I have Mon Gurelian EDT, but I only get 3 hours then it becomes a skin scent. I will have to get the EDP.

I have it. It’s a powerhouse of sandalwood. It’s also dirt cheap, so if you don’t love it, it’s ok. It would be a good layering scent to give other fragrances more oomph
Mon Guerlain is perfection. I have to admit though, after about 2 hours i find myself topping up. Definitely considering getting the lotion. I'll carry the whole bottle around. idc it's heavenly
I wore This is Her to work yesterday and the compliments were flowing, they said they could smell me rooms away from the nurses station. I need to get a bigger bottle.

Samsara by Guerlain is a smooth comforting sandalwood. When I wear it after my nighttime bath it just lulls me into a restful sleep.

I love sensuous nude. I will try but I have 8 more in this series and then have like 15 other fragrance ideas. Lol
