Oooh patchouli!!! 🙌🏼 I used to be petrified of patchouli and little by little learned that it is totally necessary in fragrances and can be actually sexy if done right! Excited for this video 🤩
The patchouli in all of the Sì fragrances and in Miss Dior (2017 version), Flowerbomb, and Angel Eau Croisière 2019 are my kind of patchouli.

I have just recently really took a dive into the fragrance world. I LOVE patchouli and have been wearing Mugler Angel for awhile now .. I'm going to have to check out Angel Muse!

As far as my favorite patchouli.. You named so many I love 😍 but I will say my baby.. Elie Saab Girl of Now is my favorite. I love how they grounded the sweetness with the patchouli. 🥰

Thank you! I've been waiting for a Patchouli note video. I feel you on the Angel Muse scent......I love patchouli so I look for those notes before I buy a fragrance. I'm so glad for all the "fruitchouli" perfumes so I can wear in summer. I have never smelled patchouli like what I wore in the 70's - Spiritual Sky was the brand, just a tiny maybe 7 ml bottle of pure essential oil of patchouli. I got so many compliments even from people who didn't like that scent. It smelled like the sun had heated up wet earth and out came a clean and fresh scent. I used it straight out of the bottle and dabbed on pulse points. Right now I'm loving Essentric Molecule 01 + Patchouli. (It's just that molecule 1 + 3 different Patchouli oils.) I'm waiting for a sample of Montale's Patchouli Leaves. That's mixed with at least 5-7 other scents, but I hear Patchouli takes center stage. 🤎💛🧡

Bryant Park by Bond No. 9 is serving up rich b*tch vibes all day long, and I love it. It reminds me of a cool, crisp day. Cinnabar is also a favorite for sentimental reasons. It sweetens up on me, and gets lots of compliments - especially from children. I haven’t tried the reformulated version yet, but hope they didn’t ruin it. I also like Falling in Love by Philosophy which has patchouli in the top notes rather than the base which makes it much lighter and more wearable for those who aren’t quite ready to take the patchouli plunge, but wanna get their feet wet so to speak. (None of these lean too masculine, IMO.) Love these videos - so helpful, interesting, and fun for us perfume junkies, lol.

This is why I find it absolutely necessary to smell my perfumes. Patchouli definitely works in some perfimes.
Just like you, I had to come around to loving Coco Madz & now I use it as a bedtime scent. It’s soo good.
I will get the intense but the regular will always be in rotation.
Twilly is also a banger for me- wore it today and it lasts all day at the same tempo. I love when a scent doesn’t fade into the background of some musk/cedar.
Another for life fragrance.

Hi Tera! Patchouli is note that I grew to enjoy. I haven't smelled most on this list but I know Mugler uses a patchouli note that similar to patchouli used in more typically masculine frags. One of my favorites is Gallagher Fragrances Behold Patchouli. It smells like one of those chocolate covered orange treats.

Angel Muse and Rebelle by Rihanna love love love , they have a prominent patchouli note that I find absolutely beautiful.
Some of these scent notes I don't know I have UNTIL you guys tell me lol 🤣 l love me some angel muse you can be dramatic doll lol 🤣 tfs 🙏🏼

My favorite note is patchouli. I have and love all of these except Narciso and Dua. Alien is my favorite. I love these note videos.

One that I enjoy in the Fall and Winter is Ferragamo’s Signorina Misteriosa. On my skin, the Patchouli really grabs and holds on to the middle and base notes allowing them to really shine. As with most fragrance, some love it and some don’t see what all the fuss is about; this, in my opinion, needs cooler temperatures to perform well. I think it’s back up bottle worthy🙂

I love patchouli scents! I'm probably the only person who has a bunch of LVEB flankers and does not own the original. I remember testing it years ago but for some reason I don't own it. 🤔
Lol. It happens. I used to have all of the tresor la nuit flankers and didn't own the OG..I have it now though.

You featured some bombshell fragrances Tera. Some of my favorites are La vie est Belle, Si, Narciso Rodriguez for her edt and....Mon Paris EDP, Chance EDP are patchouli heavy as well. A milder patchouli is Narciso Rodriguez Fleur Musc EDP.
I just recently got that one in a decant and love it!
DKNY My NY Donna Karan is patchouli heavy, but not in a bad way. The combination of pink pepper, raspberry with the patchouli makes it smell like pink champagne.💕💕
I just sampled the L’Ambre des Merveilles and it is sooo good. I’ve got the Twilly Eau Poivree and am excited to wear it in the upcoming fall weather (I am in stl too and I am gonna go swimming this weekend lmao). Some other fav patch frags: Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Royale (amazing cheapie), Diptyque Tempo (the patch here is almost green. It’s an aromatic fragrance. Divine), Chanel Coromandel, and The Harmonist Hypnotizing Fire (I just have a decant bc $, but you can get a travel size as a one time purchase from Scentbird for 1/3 the size of the official travel size). I recently sampled YSL Tuxedo and that thing is stunning.
Looooove Reminiscence Patchouli.... very old school. Smells like root beer float!
I totally have to share, I have la vie but it has spun sugar it's super sweet it doesn't smell like the formula I was use to. So I also have la vie e'clat, I went to my lab and layered it with JHAG Pear 🤯 its amazing!🤗

I'm looking for a patchouli fragrance! Like so much it probably has it in the title. The ones I own that I love are Elie Saab Le Parfum, Angel Muse, Shalimar, V Canto Kashmire, Tiziana Terenzi Porpora and others I can't think of lol.

I'm just now getting into fragrances but I got samples of sour peach and angel muse but i've literally used them up because they smell so good. I also like the original Jimmy Choo. I saw different videos with people saying that they don't like it but I think it smells so good

@@OpinionatedScents I understand. My boyfriend prefers Jimmy Choo fever on me vs the original Jimmy Choo because it's sweeter but imma still wear the original 😂
Patchouli is a mood for me. Sometimes yes, sometimes want something lighter. My fave patchouli perfumes are black orchid and angel EDP and Gucci guilty absolute but those are not super feminine smelling in the traditional sense of the word, which is becoming more and more meaningless as gender concepts evolve I guess. For the more feminine patchoulis, I would choose NR l'extase rose absolue but that is not patchouli dominant at all! I think your choices of lveb and si sum it up nicely. I just got wanted girl... Not sure what I think right now. I was expecting dulce de leche. I got florals... Orange blossom... and ginger. 🤷♀️
Black Orchid and angel are my two most hated fragrances. Lol... give wanted girl a chance as it gets colder. It's yummy
I thought I hated patchouli but I don’t. Just like every other note it’s all about the balance and the blending with other notes. And I think there are nuances or variations in the note itself. I have a love hate thing going on with it.
I am trying so hard to understand the appeal of the patchouli in miss dior edp 2017. In that the patch is a bomb that obliterates all the other beautiful notes.
But I love love love angel muse edp and lveb. And the patch is definitely noticeable in those as well.
I agree with you Miss Dior is a no go for me.

I love patchouli when done right 😂 so which one of the Si has the best projection/sillage? I really like Angel eau croissiere because patchouli is done very well in this fragrance. Coco Mademoiselle is another great one I still wear it here and there sometimes it gives me a headache… I think you will like the intense it is darker and slightly different. Great video 💕

I used to love a good patchouli oil but now…Idk when it started but patch heavy perfumes make me feel hot 😂 not in a sexy way but in a menopause way. Ginger too. I do have a few that you mentioned but I spray them on my clothes only.

I love Julia Roberts, she reminds me of my aunts and I'm so sad that I can't get with La Vie Est Belle. It's nice, but it just feels too heavy for me. I do like sweet fragrances, but this one just seems too syrupy. What flanker would you recommend for someone looking for something just a bit lighter?

Have you tried Narciso’s Patchouli Musc? I think that’s my favorite patchouli dominant perfume as it also includes a yummy ice cream note! ;-)

You have probably never heard or smelled this fragrance, it's a discontinued perfume from fresh. It's called patchouly pure

Hmmmm I had a video about them all and I think I remember which one I chose but I am not sure if my answer is still the same. LOL. It's a 3 way tie... Edp, Fiori and Intense the original not the new one.

That’s so funny because I didn’t even realize there was patchouli in lveb until a couple months ago. I love lveb. But there was always something that bugged me about it. I assumed it was the iris. And suddenly I just could smell it and knew it was patchouli. Yup. It’s such a well blended perfume to me that I didn’t realiZe it either. Now that I know I wonder how I didn’t see it sooner. But I’m willing to turn a blind eye to that for lveb.
