Thanks for all the explanations! Very nice video. I want to add: careful with the spring tension hoops as there is a risk of overstretching the fabric (if it is a a little stretchy).

Thank You so much! This was a very good informative video about the different types of hoops. I found all of my mom's metal hoops but I wont use them because they look tarnished. Is there any way to remove the tarnish from the hoops?

Hi, I would like to use a hoop with a ring so that people can hang the piece instead of the ones with the screw. However, I prefer to embroider with a wooden one. Can I embroider with the wooden one and then take the screw out and put a ring? I wouldn't like to sell them with a plastic hoop. Thanks.
