Oh. Well, I haven't seen that video, I've only listened to her albums and seen a few videos. I was a child myself in the 90s and never even heard of her back then. So that's why I felt unsure about what you were talking about, most kids aren't into these artsy fartsy popstars. I've also heard many other popstars say the song is written beforehand. There are many things I dislike about Tori Amos, as a person and as an "artist". On a purely musical level, would say that she managed to make harpsichords sound ugly and I hate her misuse of that beatiful instrument, perfected in it's use by Bach, Scarlatti and Couperin.
@@tashaschneider1419 uh, that song is about feeling protective of her female friends who've been mistreated by men they've dated, and she didn't direct the video - the person who did was loosely inspired by Alice in Wonderland, to my understanding. Taking Tori's art literally is a very dead-end street. It is full of metaphor, nuance, and sometimes her own personal references we can never understand.

Aww c'mon, guys. It's been 15 years since the volcano erupted and we were amazed seeing that. Now just appreciate the landscape it created.
