    as a kid in the 70's we would go to the Table Rock Lake area for vacations. It sure has changed over the years, guess that was inevitable once knowledge of this area spread over time. Still a fun place to go for vacation, but the place I loved as a kid is long gone.

      I totally agree. It is a beautiful area but it's nowhere the same as it was. I miss the family feeling the town had.

    I was born in 55’. I can remember my first camping trip to Table Rock in 58’. The lake was brand new at that time I believe it was still filling. Been quite awhile since I been to Brandon I believe the last time was 80’. I know for sure it’s nothing like it was back in the day.

      It has changed so much from that era. I remember how long it took in those days to get from Indian Point to Hwy 165 intersection on hwy 76.

    as someone who lives less than two hours away from bransons... i think its crazy that people from tons of states away come to the place... we have a house thats close to table rock on the water
    (nah, i ain't givin specifics.... yall already know to much about where i live
