First Time Open-Air Street Preaching!

- It's official... I open-air street preached for the first time ever!! I was at the NCAA March Madness Men's Basketball tournament in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday, March 19th, 2023 just outside the Nationwide Arena with a great group of God-honoring men and woman!
I'll introduce the video, then show you the 5-6 minutes of me open-air street preaching and then I'll share some thoughts and tips that I learned to encourage you to get out there and open-air street preach and pass out Gospel tracts.
Just remember, the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.
All to the glory of God for the advancement of His kingdom!
This is great, you did way better than I did my first time out. I also preached 2 times my first time out because I was so nervous on my first try, and I knew that my Lord Jesus deserved better. My second try that day was far better with people listening and a family coming up and praying with me. Please continue, as He seems to have blessed you with this gift of evangelism. Praise God!

I really feel that God has laid it on my heart to open preach to people at my university. Extremely terrified of public speaking and too worried about what people think of me. Any tips?
Hi, Donald! Thanks for sharing. I completely understand. It can be terrifying. A few things... Keep yourself in the Word and prayer. Don't worry about what people think of you because what they think if you doesn't matter. What God thinks of you is what matters. The fear will always be there (well, for me it always is), but we just need to pray that we will have more love for the lost. I've had people yell and scream at me, telling me to keep walking, go away, barking up the wrong tree, etc. Also, if you get up there and forget what to say (I'd recommened practicing what you want to say) then open Scripture and start reading. :-)

Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of (eternal life) to all who trust Him alone for salvation.
This means that saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ (alone) for salvation.

I think it is awesome that you are able to express your opinions in the open and in public in America. I am sure you BELIEVE the things that you are saying here, but I am also at least pretty sure you know that others may disagree with you. Why the need to share these opinions to people going about their own lives? If you are walking down a street and you came across a person sharing their opinion regarding Hinduism or Islam, do you think that would change your mind? I really do doubt it.
Hi Brooklyn, Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm not able to change anyone's mind, the only thing I can do is plant and water seeds. That's it. God is the one who gives it the growth (1 Corinthians 3).
@@BibleAndFriends Could the God do this without your assistance? This is not meant in any disrespectful way. I am as real as it gets, and I am happy to talk to you on phone to show my authenticity. THINK for a minute. Does it really make sense that an all-powerful being, with all knowledge who is running the universe would need you to share your opinions about him on the public streets? Now, I know you're probably thinking, well maybe he doesn't need me to do this, but he wants me to do this. It is his plan. This is the very thoughts of Muslim preachers, Hindu preachers, Mormon Missionaries and JW door to door servants. You do not think that their Gods have a plan for their lives and includes this, do you? Why not?

You seem like a nice guy and I have a respect for Christianity. But what's the point of preaching in the street? It's loud and annoying and not likely to convert anyone, and isn't there better things you can be doing with your time?
Thanks for watching and thanks for your honesty! It's not about converting anyone, it's about planting and watering seeds so that God may give the growth. We got both positive and negative feedback, and we may never know who heard the Gospel being preached that was just walking in the crowd who will surrender their lives to Jesus because of something they heard from us. I used to think there's definitely better uses of my time, but what better use of my time than to share the Gospel of Jesus! :-)
The Bible actually commands Christians to "Proclaim" the Gospel. The proclaim that is used is basically to go to the streets and make your voice known. And I've seen and heard lots of people say that this kind of preaching saved them or planted a seed which caused them to look into Christianity which in turn allowed them to come to Jesus. And there are lots of things out there that everyone considers annoying. I think UA-cam ads and advertisements all around places I frequent are annoying. Just because we might find something annoying doesn't mean it should stop or forcefully stopped.
