The soul society is kind of weird. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Kenny was born in the soul society. And only people born in that realm can age. So, anyone that died and came to soul society is ageless. Seriously, correct me because it's very confusing
@@hextraordinaire2347 they are aging but really slowly. It seems the more spiritual energy one has the slower he ages. Like ordinary souls could age x10-20 times faster than Yamamoto or Unohana. Kenpachi looks older than Unohana, maybe cause he was restraining his power or bc of harsh life and lot of fights.
@@hextraordinaire2347 Rukia and her sister were directly mentioned as people who died in human world. We are to assume that most people in Soul Society are reincarnated souls of people who died in human world and were moved to it by Soul Reapers.
Obviously there very likely has been kids and souls that were born in the Soul Society - as obviously Rukia has biological kid at the end of the show. And you could assume Noble Clans had to expand in some way other than just adoption, as there are biological similarities there (Kaien and Ichigo looking exactly the same).
We do not know what type of soul Zaraki was. But as he is there alone - we can assume he came there from human world.
@@dencheq the issue with Unohana and Zaraki is that he doesn't bother about his body and she was still pretty vain about it. Her abilities also let her heal a lot of the damage. Which probably includes aging process. On the other hand - he didn't take care of himself at all (similarly to Yamamoto, who used his scars as trophies).
I wouldn't say that he looks older than her. He looks like middle-aged man, akin to Kyouraku and Ukitake. Which makes him still look way younger than he actually is. Unohana has that matron look for most like, that airbrushed Asian woman look - she is obviously mature, but she had enough work done to still have relatively young looking appearance.
We also know that the powers themselves affect the age of people. Toshiro is being deaged by his power, opposite to it it's likely that Yamamoto has been aged by his power - heat causing damage to his body (as he is younger than Ichibe). Unohana like I said probably got certain level of healing that kept her look young. Kenpachi on the other hand could maybe be affected by the dissonance between his sword and his own soul. Or its just a damage he sustained from being cut and being exposed to Sun when hunting for more opponents.
Age in Soul Society doesn't really matter tbh. We haven't really seen anyone officially dying from old age, even if they had low reiatsu levels. And it hasn't been ever said that people with high reiatsu age slower. The older people may just be that - people who lived as long as Yamamoto, lucky to never be attacked by Hollows, living for millenia in the same rotting huts of Rukongai.
It's not only about the fights you are gonna realize it very quick.its just the pacing for which it feels that the episodes are just fight based. But I am 100 percent sure that when this part 2 ends looking back at the episodes your decision will change
4:45 idk if it's gonna be animated later or not, but in the Manga (and mentioned in the halfway card with Gwaenel) it was revealed that Gremmy was imprisoned in a special room created by Yhwach to seal him off, that's why he wasn't around in the first invasion.
Also Gremmy's VA is Tanjiro from Demon Salyer, so we got Innosuke and Tanjiro back to back as bad guys 😂
In anime Gremmy was with everyone behind the table in the beginning of the 2nd coure.
@@dencheq he was released for the second invasion because he was deemed necessary so that's why you see him on the table in the beginning
@@fruitpunchsamuraidavid I've heard that and I've read manga. Will see how they made him in anime. I just mentioned that Gremmy was with them all together, not in prison. There bunch of quincies who weren't in first invasion.

Agree with what you said Duk. We can’t really relate much to these Sternritters because they come and go so fast. In the manga, barely any of them got any backstory whatsoever. Of course, the anime could very well change that with the author heavily supervising. That’s just how the TYBW arc is. Just a mega hypefest and coming together of all races to defeat the ultimate enemy.
They also completely removed gremmy's backstory and all of the manga scenes from "bootleg aizen". I hope they are saving time to make the later fights that people didn't really enjoy better

Avoiding clear spoilers, you should pay better/closer attention on the flashback that happens in this episode, its pretty subtle

Its a bit sad to see the fights end quick since their trying to *modernise* the show and so we wont be getting the same feels like we did with the espada and its a shame because gremmy who is a child said some pretty sad lines, like him not “being able to imagine anymore” but it also a is never gonna hit like stark or Ulquiorra’s death
I wouldn't have minded a VERY SLIGHTLY slower pace, like 1 episode more to fit in a bit more content, but I think any more than that would have been too slow. Seasonal pacing and "show/don't tell" is definitely better imo.

Gremmy's ability is so scary because any stray or intrusive thought could be the end of himself or make him lose etc etc, kind of like how we see in the fight: He lost when he said "You're Kenpachi? You're just as I imagined" meaning the rumors of his monstrous power and the data given probably made Gremmy imagine this unkillable monster, and who knows if that was just Kenny or if it was the power of imagination, but Kenny was living rent free in Gremmy's head.
I absolutely adore the pacing, but even then I would love like an extra 24 minutes per cour just for some little extra character building for the Quincy (though tbf, these are supposed to be the "small fry") You're not fully supposed to relate to the Sternritters, they are supposed to be seen as a pretty giga evil akin to Nazis and the pacing is a bit more like a blitzkrieg (an intense military campaign intended to bring about a swift victory) and you're supposed detest them, maybe just maybe feel a bit of pitty for their deaths.
The Quincy have a plan, and they need it done quicker the better since Jwach is seemingly on a timer (the sleep thing and souls returning to him) the Reapers have people like Urahara and Mayuri and 0 division who have already proven to be pretty nutty in terms of regrouping and buffing up the Shinigami.
You dont even need to imagine $1M, you can directly imagine what you want to buy lol

i hate that they cut out the sternritter's reaction to the meteor, quincey aizen was booking it, jugram was like "protect his majesty. They also took out a soul reaper saying "it'll be fine, the barrier will stop it, *meteor breaks the barrier* WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!"

Actually he is the strongest(ch.575 pg.15) and it's confirmed in the light novel"Can't Fear Your Own World"vol.2 ch.14, that Gremmy is the strongest Sternritter under Yhwach.
Anybody wanna break it to this guy or should I do it. So about Yachiru.....Something is fishy about her. If you watched Bleach and can remember what came before. You will notice something and well......Spoiler Warning. Ichigo asks who or "what" she is. Yeah Spoiler warning again. She is Kenpachi's incomplete Bankai and his Bankai's shikai is merely using techniques that he hasn't learned himself. After he learns the name, his incomplete Bankai fades and his real bankai is born with the older woman called Nozarashi who is the older more complete version of Yachiru.

Wrong, Yachiru is not the incomplete bankai spirit, Yachiru is the bankai spirit. Kubo himself explained that Nozarashi' spirit is an adult woman, but in bankai the spirit is younger, just like Tensa Zangetsu compared to Zangetsu.
