He even said he never spoke to his zanpakuto or knew it’s name and when he met Yuchiro he didn’t know where she came from or know her name before naming her Yuchiro. It adds up but it’s not obvious so figuring that out off of observation is impressive lol

Remember in episode 10 when Kenpachi finally heard his zanpakuto? His spirit was talking about "i am the one who has been watching you more than anyone", and then it showed Kenpachi and Yachiru on his shoulders, then you just made a random guess like does she have anything to do with his zanpakuto? You have no idea how stunned i was with that out of nowhere comment. That's some keen observation right there, props to you my guy for catching that extremely subtle hint. Ever since that episode i was waiting for this one just to see your reaction. 😂
@@SsjutsuAlso a little fun fact: Gremmy was actually just a brain inside a jar when Yhwach gave him powers, that's why he said at the end "even this body of mine is just a product of my imagination", cuz basically he didn't have a real body at all. And while in the anime we saw him at their meeting and during Uryu's introduction, in the manga Gremmy didn't appear at all until this fight, and the reason is because he was too dangerous to be left unchecked that Yhwach actually had him imprisoned in a cage specially made to contain him. But anyways this episode was amazing. The adaptation for the most part remained faithful to the source material, some added extra scenes like with Yachiru's flashback. Although there's some minor cuts like i mentioned above, it's fine cuz they weren't too relevant to the plot anyways. The fight sequence was visually stunning, the pacing tho a bit too fast imo, worked fine. As a manga reader it's easily a 10/10 imo, can't wait for the next episode.

If you actually think about gemmys ability he actually made kenpachi stronger than he was supposed to be since at the beginning of the fight gremmy said "you're as strong as i imagine kenpachi zaraki" so since gremmy imagine kenpachi was strong it became reality since gremmys ability is to literally make anything he thinks of reality
well he'd have to imagine a way for kenpachi to be dead, that would actually kill kenpachi. Gremmy never saw Kenpachi in his strongest form so it probably wouldnt work until gremmy actually understood how strong kenpachi actually is

yeah since he fought ichigo way back in the soul society arc kubo has been dropping clues on yachiru. i mean her name is given to her because that is unohana’s name. the person responsible for him suppressing himself so bad he regressed and couldn’t hear his zanpakuto. Kubo has been cooking michelin level meals from the beginning just he got hoe’d by the studio who did the anime early on. Glad my boy has been able to see his vision done right.
Manga reader here....I have been WAITING for this for so damn long bro. Gremmy was such a unique opponent for Kenny. They really did a good job but I wish it was longer. The fight was 9 chapters long in the Manga but that's ok because I know they are saving some time to give us some peak Ichigo fanservice

Soundtrack was beautifully picked for this episode. "What you can see in their eyes" playing rockstyle along with Nozarashi's debut was so cool. And the "I am the edge" moment was lit as well. Just wanted they had used the same drawing as Kubo's for when Zaraki says there's nothing he can't cut, it's pity they didn't. 😢 P.S.: The song also fits Zaraki's berserker vibe for this episode really well: "Far too strong to resist There is nowhere to hide from the force that will tear them apart and banish their soul"

Bleach has had episodes explaining that the Zanpakto can materialize into beings, everyone at Oetsu Nimaiya place that helped forge Ichigo's swords were Asauchi (Zanpakto). Before that, they did a whole Arc on everyone's Zanpakto materializing and turning on them to fight with a member of Byakuya's clan Zanpakto, really good Arc btw.
I've waited so many years for this to be animated and was incredible reading it back in the day!! But dude I'm shocked that out of all the anime only UA-camrs I've seen you're the ONLY ONE that figured out the truth when it comes to Yachiru!! Nice man 👌

If im not mistaken her shikai allows her to summon the spirits in her blade to fight for her, and i still think its the episodes biggest flex that he killed dude by imagining him a monster then made him resort to resemble him which leads to his death, bcuz his body couldn't take the pure power being forced on him to try and resemble dude, kenpachi is that guy this isn't up for debate this is all the proof you need

No complaints whatsoever. If I have to be pedantic, when he cut the meteor and revealed his Shikai I was kinda hoping Treachery ost would play (if you're not sure, the Treachery ost was played at certain moments of Kenny va nnoitora fight and it's mostly aizen's ost when he's wrecking havok like against the squad captains leaving ichigo stunned)

So every other captains fight like 2 or 3 vs 1 quincy, they all have bankai,and they still lose. And my man zaraki killed the nr1 quincy stern without even having a bankai? I might get a kenpachi tattoo that shikai looks too cool. Ulquiorra and zaraki tattoo
Mostly they just cut out how the other quincy feel about gremmy. Apparently Ywach kept him locked away until now and they felt it should have stayed that way. Mostly seemed like all of the stern ritter feared gremmy, but great episode overall

Bleach has had episodes explaining that the Zanpakto can materialize into beings, everyone at Oetsu Nimaiya place that helped forge Ichigo's swords were Asauchi (Zanpakto). Before that, they did a whole Arc on everyone's Zanpakto materializing and turning on them to fight with a member of Byakuya's clan Zanpakto, really good Arc btw.

First time he ever used his shikai was to slice a meteor in half
damnit you wasnt suppose to figure it out lol. But I dont believe they showed that in the manga when she went up in touched the sword at this part. But also this was forshadowed when they met ichigo in the SS if you look at what ichigo says and you notice she has no reaction to being hit. If I have to be pedantic, when he cut the meteor and revealed his Shikai I was kinda hoping Treachery ost would play (if you're not sure, the Treachery ost was played at certain moments of Kenny va nnoitora fight and it's mostly aizen's ost when he's wrecking havok like against the squad captains leaving ichigo stunned)
