3:19 😂😂 by locking the center diff up the rear tyres get way more speed and it wheelies more. You can’t compare it with a limitless, which runs better with a locked diff (for speed runs). Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn! Awesome video as always.
Because that spektrum reciver has avc, first you need to calibrate the reciver full throttle full brake right left after you do that proceed to calibrate the esc wait for the reciver light to turn orange first then pull full throttle and it will go into calibration mode
It's definitely my favorite truck. It handles a lot better than the xmaxx, I don't own a kraton yet so I can't compare too much with them. It doesn't have much air control stock, only because it's so heavy and the tires don't balloon. I highly suggest owning one👍
@@zagertRC Thanks.I own a Kraton 6s and have driven x-maxx before. Like the Kraton better, more stable. Definitely thinking about getting one of these. Really awesome👌
New Sub here brother, great channel, love the personality 😎👍 Thinking about getting a dbxle but I already have a 30 degree north, Losi 5T Clone. See ya round
Just my .02 cent worth, get the aluminum diff housings for the front and rear. On mine, My driveline is 100% aluminum and steel, no plastic what so ever.
@@zagertRC Vitavon is very good but expensive. I have the atop housings and brackets and have held up very well. I do have some vitavon parts including the center diff/motor mount. I also got the losi aluminum center diff and put in the front and rear. They are direct replacements.
@@zagertRC Unfortunately, I was running mine yesterday and a magnet inside the motor came unglued (2028 1100kv). I contacted castle but, haven't heard anything from them yet.
@@Blueknight1960 That sucks man, I never had any problems with a castle motor yet. Fill out a RMA request form and if they send u a RMA number just send it in.
My first castle ESC was mamba 8s in my Limitless. It blew right away speed running, so I traded it for a xlx2. That one is still going strong off hundreds of speed runs and pushing over 600 amps
I'm definitely going to try hobbywing in the future on some cars! But this is the first time I've had real problems with Castle products, hopefully it doesn't continue😅👍
I have a xlx2 1100kv on my dbxle also. Only have 18 tooth though. I wanna get some badland tires. Also I wanna ask, what shock springs are you using? My stock rear shock springs sag.
I really believe 100mph off-road can be achieved! And where is this competition? I'm always interested, but there doesn't seem to be much here in Colorado.

The hobbywing doesn't compare to the xlx2 in the power department. I had a hobbywing max5 and it failed after 8 mos and the warranty is only 3 mos. I have the xlx2 now and to be honest, while it's a more powerful esc, in my personal experience it isn't made any better than the max5 but it does have a 1 year warranty. This will be my 2nd time using castles warranty. The negative wire on the esc's pcb board has broken, twice.
@4:15 ...This was all too familiar 😂 I almost literally felt your frustration and release by ripping those boots. Happens almost everytime!
Awesome end of video loooooool !!!
Thanks 😁👍

It's a Weller. The cheapest one Home Depot had to offer, but it get hot enough 🤣👍
I’m running 34t pinion and 39t spur on my Kraton 8s atm hobbywing max5 combo and every is cold so can gear up getting 37t pinion next
I bet that thing is crazy to drive 💪💪
How does the losi dbxl handle, compared to a kraton or an x-maxx? Is it more basher or more buggy? I really like the looks of it🤩
It's definitely my favorite truck. It handles a lot better than the xmaxx, I don't own a kraton yet so I can't compare too much with them. It doesn't have much air control stock, only because it's so heavy and the tires don't balloon. I highly suggest owning one👍
