Morning Peter, fan bloody tastick. Look how many people have given you their best wishes. And how many of the protractors are missing. Well done Cobber.👌👌👌👌👌🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Way to go mate Peter!!! Beautiful classy sunset flight !!! In your face heaters!!! This baby is going to rock the world of aviation !!! Can’t wait to see the gear up configuration numbers!!!! All the heat penalties will be solved!! Fly baby fly!! Haha ! I’m crying of ecstasy!!! 🥲🥲
No one can remain indifferent to a sunset: with its play of light and colors, it is a moment of the day that causes reflections, suggestions and charm 😊 Thanks for sharing this beautiful video 👍 See you next video
Waiting for my significant other to go for a swim so I can watch on the big screen! Well done Peter, flights coming thick and fast...... Wow!!!! Steady as a rock...no drama... almost... eh... boring..
The stability is vastly improved. I'm inclined to think that the wheel wells probably didn't contribute nearly as much to the pitch stability issues as the CG location did. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the gear up performance in cruise looks like. Beautiful images as well - that kind of beauty is truly inspirational.
“Last person to see the sunset” - indeed! It’s those “I’m the only person who will ever see *this*...” are the moments I miss from my flying career. You are correct; this is EXACTLY why we do this. Thanks for the footage :)
Quite right Peter. That's what it's all about. You have brought an impressive machine to life. Hopefully many will enjoy sunsets flights like this one!
Hey Peter! As a helicopter pilot switching from ANR headsets to a helmet I too experienced a lot of noise. My solution is called MNR or mechanical noise reduction. If you wear ear plugs under your helmet, you bring both the noise and the signal ( from the helmet speakers ) down. Then, you turn the radios and ICS up, and you have a much higher signal to noise ratio. No batteries required. Cheers!
Finally, a stable flight. The culmination of 5 years of dedicated hard work mixed with frustration in the final debugging phase. Your determination & persistance is admirable. Hope the production & marketing phase go more smoothly. Bravo and keep up it up. Enjoy the coming Holidays and stay safe.
WHAT A DIFERENCE FROM THE FIRST FLIGHT, SMOOTH FLIGHT PETER.... VERY IMPRESSIVE.... GOD BLESS YOU GUYS ... THANK YOU FOR THE VIEW OF GORGEOUS SUN SET ...MAKE ME REMEMBER WHEN I USED FLY WITH MY FATHER ABOVE THE AMAZON RIVER NEAR BELÉM AND MANAUS, NORTH OF BRAZIL 🇧🇷
My God yourve done it. I wouldn't have been caught dead in that plane based on the first flight, but now look at you. Yourve stuck with it and created a brilliant machine
Thanks for sharing this beautiful twilight flight with all of us who cannot possibly experience it. Hopefully the Raptor will be into full production by the time I will be ready in early 2023.
Very nice flight! Definitely the most stable and smooth yet! Here's a thought for temperature control on some longer test flights: It may be worth switching over that intercooler in the nose from cooling the water to oil. Given how oil temperatures seem to climb faster and higher than the coolant, pushing that hot oil through the intercooler will reject more heat from the system with what air you have flowing through it.
Absolutely superb, nice work Peter! She flew brilliantly, smooth as butter! The increased airspeed helped too I feel, it seemed much more stable than on flights 1 and 2. Hats off to you sir 🎩
Enjoying the sunset flight Peter, not as much as you I am sure. Must be an awesome feeling after so much time and effort to get in your own creation and enjoy such a flight. Bravo!
Peter - way to go! Step by step, your discipline and attention to detail has paid off! Well done! I guess I better get finished up and work on IFR rating.
Fantastic Peter! It looked so much better than the rendered picture that has been my desktop wallpaper for over two years that I replaced it with a screenshot from this video.
Looks very stable. Looking forward to watching the gear retract and seeing 352 in the sleek configuration. Very impressed with your diligence and skill.
"next flight gear retraction...." Can I make a suggestion, that next few flights try to add to the already increasing envelope of time and altitude first. Stability is well improved already by flight 3!! If you on the next flight cycle the gear, and it works, great, but if you have problems, now you lack altitude and time to troubleshoot the problem.
Absolutely wonderful! This is the video I’ve been waiting for the whole time I’ve been following you. Congratulations on you spirit and perseverance! Keep it going...
Man that is flying good sir!!!!! I think. .. no.. yes... wait for it.. you could have a real flying plane on your hands! Nice landing as well. The more you fly it the safer you are. You're well on your way to the next phase.
It's nice to see you got to enjoy an amazing flight like this in something you designed and built yourself (well with some assistance, but you know what I mean)!
Peter it cruised so nice with the governor pulled back at reduced power, these flights are progressing very nicely, keep up the great work and fly safe!
Now that's smooth sailing! I'd honestly leave the hard tab that counters the prop torque, you run the risk of introducing a crab using the rudder 0 to counter the lift force. I think you'd need more downforce than you think. 29 degrees at 110kts is a good 100lbs of anti torque and it's working so well. Also for the gear up testing I'd simulate frontal wind forces pressing back on the gear as it's going up. 50lbs of force per wheel pulling back should be functional enough. Just to see if it's going to bind under pressure or need more hydraulic force to get it up. Almost done! And great sunset flight! Smooth as butter minus the bird.
My undying respects on what you've achieved to date, the ship looks totally stable in the air and I can't wait for more flights and more changes to make her even better.
Peter, I'm very excited for you and this aircraft. Its looking more and more promising with each update here. One friendly bit of advice: Please do stay on the proper 3 deg glide path on final, and try to get it on the ground at least in the first 2000 feet no matter the runway length. Beautiful flight!!
Morning Peter, fan bloody tastick. Look how many people have given you their best wishes. And how many of the protractors are missing.
Well done Cobber.👌👌👌👌👌🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Congrats, can't wait to see cruise speed at altitude.
Kudos to The Highest Time Raptor Pilot on The Planet 👍
No one can remain indifferent to a sunset: with its play of light and colors, it is a moment of the day that causes reflections, suggestions and charm 😊 Thanks for sharing this beautiful video 👍 See you next video
Those sunset shots remind me of the original renders you did of the aircraft so many years ago. Crazy to see it in real life now
That's right! Good point.
Waiting for my significant other to go for a swim so I can watch on the big screen! Well done Peter, flights coming thick and fast...... Wow!!!! Steady as a rock...no drama... almost... eh... boring..
I absolutely LOVE IT. I am so grateful you are doing this Peter and letting me be a part of the journey. I am saving up for my Raptor :)
The stability is vastly improved. I'm inclined to think that the wheel wells probably didn't contribute nearly as much to the pitch stability issues as the CG location did. Peter thankyou for being such an inspiration over all these years. Learnt so much. Buy ya a beer if you are in London.
First! This flight seemed very smooth and improved. Nice touchdown too! Nice work.

Night and day from the first flight! (First flight had my heart in mouth!) Landing looked great
Quite right Peter. That's what it's all about. You have brought an impressive machine to life. Hopefully many will enjoy sunsets flights like this one!

I do this for a living and still marvel at the sunsets I get to see each time.
glad to see that take off, Great stability and liftoff!! nice to see stability in the air as well. Great engineering mate!!! 1,000,000 attabits!!!!
Been here from the start. What an absolutely amazing journey! Best thing I have seen on UA-cam by far.

Very nice flight! Definitely the most stable and smooth yet!

Great job Peter and well done👏👏👏👏
It was so worth the wait 😊👍🏽
Absolutely AWESOME! You just flew an airplane that you DESIGNED AND BUILT!!! AWESOME!!! Best flight so far!

It is such a joy to see her flying so smoothly! You continue toward making this dream come true.
Attitude control looks rock solid. All the small tweaks have done the trick. Beautiful flight, thanks Peter.
Beautiful flight! Great job working through the cooling issues. It will be great to see the Raptor with the gear retracted soon.
She is a thing of beauty. Can't wait to see some shots from the ground as she flies. Congrats.

Mate, well done, both raptor and sunset looked beautiful and the flight looked pretty darn good, she looked much more stable
Great wee sunset flight. Looked rock solid. 👍
