Best US video yet. More content about your new life in Texas please
Greased that landing. Well done!
Very nice to see you in my home state Noel. Welcome. 🇺🇸
Welcome to Texas man!! Fun fact: it takes 12 1/2 hours to cross Texas east to west and 13 1/2 from the Oklahoma panhandle to the southern tip of Texas
Another fact: When you drive from Houston to the Pacific Ocean, you know your halfway once you've left Texas.
12 1/2 hours with speed limits over 80 I might add!
@@fate66usn El Paso is actually closer to San Diego than it is to Houston...
Lived in Houston for 42 years. Started watching your videos over a year ago. Never dreamed you would leave the U.K. and move to my home town! Hope you enjoy Texas and that you survive the summers and Hurrican Season! HA!
Love seeing you in our part of Texas by Denton and UNT. Our oldest son is a student there and loves it!
Another nice video, thank you.
Never cease to be amazed at the size of the USA. Your 2 hour flight was across just a corner of the state. Amazing.
Loving watching you fly in your new chosen home. Living the dream! Best wishes.
Really enjoy the vids, keep 'em coming, hope everything is well on your end.
I’ll be listening for your voice every time I fly. Won’t be too hard to recognize it. I’ll monitor fingers, but probably got a better chance on a random center. Beautiful landing! Butter.
killed the landing !
I've been watching your vids for a while and just realized you stopped here in Denton! I've been out to that airport 1000 times! Hope you enjoyed your visit!
Dam those trees and power lines look close on that approach 😮
Hiyas Noel, stunning scenery, thank you, hope you are both well, much love, take care, stay safe xx UK 🇬🇧
Glad you are enjoying yourselves in Texas!
That's so random! I did all my flight training at Hooks (KDWH) in a Piper Cherokee (N5640U). This takes me way back. Thanks for the cool video!
Love getting to watch you do the flying
Now tell me about those 4 red lights off to the right of the runway 😀 Nice video. Need to go flying around TX.
I think you are referencing the Visual Glide Slope Indicator (VGSI). They are a type of lighted lens that shows you either white or red light (depending on your altitude relative to them) to help you maintain the proper glide slope (descent angle) down to the runway. Most often If two of them are white and two of the lights are red you are “on” the glide slope. If they are all white you are too high and all red would indicate too low. In this video they appear all red but he is not too low as his touchdown point is near the numbers instead of where a larger plane would land further down the runway.
@@bucketorandom01 I am referencing that. But more what the meaning of 4 red lights on the PAPI would be indicating 😏
All good, just inspecting powerlines.
Great vid on your flight from Denton.
Trust me it’s great listening to music. For example, flying from Cardiff to Leeds regularly in the “naughtiest” o could never get a service from Brum or Easr Mids. No problem. Blast the music with London FIR in the background. Simples. Can you do a trip down to Laredo etc and possibly upto the museum in Midland? Ta
Great video Noel your videos are amazing to watch
Good flight Noel. Was wondering why you didn’t claw for altitude en-route.
Here’s to many more enjoyable flights Stateside 👍🏼
Wonderful flying with you 2! I feel like I am almost in the plane! I don't know how you know where you are or anything but it's marvelous! I don't remember what airport the company jet used when my late hubby & I lived in The Woodlands & I can't remember what city the company was in. maybe Cypress. I once asked a neighbor's son in a different city, who was a pilot for Frontier Airlines & flew to London all of the time, how he knew where he was up in the air? I still don't understand it, but I'm glad people like you do! Had a neighbor in The Woodlands who was a pilot for Southwest. It's quite a trip down to Hobby from The Woodlands.
He has the Foreflight app on his iPad attached to the yoke. A very powerful navigational tool!
I used to work at UNT (University of North Texas). We have an aviation program too.
Would've been cool to have a meet and greet whilst you were in the area. Could've taken you up in the Baron.
Love that music Noel. What is it, please?
✈✈✈
Texas is amazing, my sister lives there, north of San Antonio. :)
Beautiful late afternoon flight. Like yourself I’ve never set up the headset to listen to music. I’m afraid I might miss a radio call or may be distracted and not scan properly. I see that you are now using ForeFlight. Cheers from Canada.
Noel...you are a long way from Gamston and Rafford Ford! I do miss the cham of flying in the UK and the "pass your message" ...but wish you the best in the USA...keep in mind....would love to buy you and Rachel dinner at KRDU!!!!
Hey Noel, how different is GA flying in the US compared with UK? I notice on your flying vlogs from the US you're not requesting different services from ATC. Is it a default traffic service for all flights? Great to see you're getting to explore further from you're new home base.
Did you forget to retract the gear or didn‘t you dare on a rental?
I think you need to do your multi engine license!
Where do you get your music Noel?
How do you edit and sound edit your youtubes?
Maybe you covered this in a previous video, but why did you come all the way the Texas to learn how to fly. Is this not possible in the UK?
How does ForeFlight compare to SkyDemon? I see you have it North up 🧐
That's such cool shit!
On a curious note, how hard/easy was it to recertify to fly in Texas?
Hey Noel I noticed when you zoomed in on the garmin your ground speed was only 106kts was there a strong head wind? Figured at 3300 ft and 25 miles from the airport you might be going a bit faster than that. Just wondering but great video either way!!!
I live near that airport. Head down to AFW and go jnto Roanoke for Hard Eight BBQ
Can I ask what mounts you use for your under wing cameras?
Is it cheaper to fly in the states.
That looked just like landing over the A1… 😜
What's the b/g music? I liked it a lot. :)
Noel please be extremely careful flying in the Spring there in Texas
Where is the loo review
Hey Noel, I am buying a v tail Bonanza this week. Hopefully will have it prebuy checked by Friday and if everything goes well I will have it by Monday. My business forever21 is located in the Woodlands not far from the airport you fly from.
I am also from UK, and flying in USA definitely is much fun and less stressing.
We have a lot more space
Are y’all moving to Texas???!!
Is it me or does that nose tyre look a little underpressure?
🛩️
Noice Noel
