Picards opinion about prolonging life as an android "today" and in the past - Star Trek With Context

In the last episode of Star Trek Picard, Picard died because of a syndrome, earlier than his expected life span would have granted him. In the TNG episode "The Schizoid Man", a scientist called Doctor Ira Graves was about to die from the Darnay's disease, earlier than his expected life span would have granted him, and tried to save himself by transferring into Data's body.
Picard had a different opinion about extending life in TNG.
The only difference was, that Graves wanted to live forever while Picard was concerned about immortality. But he still cheated too. Enjoy this Context.
