And we're starting off World Tour with a tough song to squeeze. This song has an awful path to execute in both RB2 and this game.
The 1st activation can't be double squeezed, so you have to activate in the middle of the G and R of the SP phrase, and end on the YO of the next phrase, but wait for SP to run out before whammying.
2nd activation is similar in that you need to wait for SP to run out before whammying at the end, or else you won't have enough SP for the next activation.
3rd act is finally just a standard squeeze, but it's made harder due to what I said above
4th act is tricky because you are doing a lot of actions all at the same time. Activating SP, strumming, and whammying all the same time isn't easy, and it's very hard to properly squeeze that.
5th act needs good whammy, which can be hard to do on this engine with sustains that are so close to eachother. Then you need to end on slider notes, which of course can easily fuck you up. I feeeeeel like you miiiiiiight be able to make it to the O sustain, but it would have to be perfect.
6th act isn't too bad, but it can be easy to forget which note to activate on. After hitting all the prior activations, this last one can be nerve-wracking.

well, of course not. after Activision flooded the market with these games and the SKUs to make them work and burned out the customers (not to mention the late 00's crisis), it's not wonder rock games are dead like disco.
even though Harmonix is trying to keep RB4 going, but at least they don't keep churning the game out over and over.

The first track in the game and also the one that introduced me to one of my favorite rock bands of all time. Thanks World Tour, you had probably the best selection of songs out of all the games

@Dekai Averett Yes the drum anims are bad, but you can't deny that the frontmen are extremely charismatic in terms of movement.
In my opinion, GH5 and Band Hero had the best animations, graphics and character designs in the whole franchise. Everything looked practically photorealistic at the time, and they still hold up pretty well today!
@@Damstructions-funny if i recall correctly Hayley Williams did the mocap for most of the female bass and guitar animations apart from the ones from misery bussines because she was hyped to be in a videogame

There’s a certain charm that is so unbeatable in these Guitar Hero games. They choose great songs and everything from the visuals to the gameplay fits the mood. Everyone looks like they belong in a band and it looks like doing gigs. Everyone in the background is jamming. The menu screens look rock-themed, too. It’s the little things that helps :)
This was my favorite song to play on guitar hero world tour as a kid I constantly tried to play it on Easy or above of course I sucked ass-
Scream Aim and Fire was a deadly song and I usually would get fucked during the beginning and my brother passing me in versus mode.
My friends and I would spend the whole afternoon after school playing GH, but when it came to this song… boy, those were the golden days

Now this game I enjoyed even more than any GH game ever, I played Guitar career mode as my own avatar rock star, as if I'm in the video game like Slash did in 3.

My father had this game back in the day. I was really young and could barely hold up that damn guitar properly, but he used to let me play it and this was one of my go-to songs. I still listen to it to this day actually and it's all thanks to my dad. But I wasn't too good at the game and definitely missed most of the marks, which used to frustrate the fuck outta me. But looking back in hindsight, it wasn't about my skill at the game, it was about having fun and spending time with my father before he passed...

i don't know why, Harmonix knows music so much better than Neversoft, and yet GH has always had better endings for the Bon Jovi songs than Rock Band...

Also, what do you think about this version? It's better than RB2's? The ending's better sounding here than in RB2's, or it was just better to leave it with a fadeout? Expect me to say these kind of questions on the other that appeared in RB2.
Definitely prefer this ending over Rock Band 2's. Otherwise, the charts a fairly similar

Yeah I agree, it feels very close, but it gets kinda hard to squeeze so early when the notes are that close and are sliders

The verses' distorded guitar riff doesn't sound in the original song mix (only the talkbox guitar riff). Was it original or recorded for the game?
The riff is connected amd matched to the dive bomb on pre chorus, i assumed Sambora recorded the riff but muted on the original master track
