Guitar Hero World Tour (initially referred to as Guitar Hero IV or Guitar Hero IV: World Tour) is a music rhythm video game developed by Neversoft and published by Activision. It is the fourth main installment in the Guitar Hero series. The game was launched in North America in October 2008 for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360 consoles, and a month later for Europe and Australia. A version of World Tour for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X was later released by Aspyr.
While the game continues to feature the use of a guitar-shaped controller to simulate the playing of rock music, Guitar Hero World Tour is the first game in the Guitar Hero series to feature drum and microphone controllers for percussion and vocal parts. This is in many ways similar to the competing Rock Band series of games. The game allows users to create new songs through the "Music Studio" mode, which can then be uploaded and shared through a service known as "GHTunes".
World Tour received generally positive reviews, with critics responding positively to the quality of the instrument controllers, the customization abilities, and improvements in the game's difficulty compared with the previous Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.

My father always used to talk about House of Blues Saul's Goodmen's 77' concert. He told me all about it. How he traveled eighty miles to see them play that year, the lives of each member, the time he saw Gus Fring in an airport, the day he got to know about the airplane crash. He used to listen to the record of that show always, even if there were other videos of better quality of Free Bird and all the other songs.
Passed away two years ago in his battle against lung cancer. Seeing this reminds me of him. Rest in peace, dad.

Most people seem to look past the importance of drummers. My high school ensemble used to have one, and had he not been as amazing as he was, we’d have little to nothing to keep us in rhythm.

But Chuck knew he would always be Shreddin Jimmy, so when Walt asked for one last gig, Jimmy went all in. He stole the show from everyone, letting out all his feelings out in that solo…
Little did everyone know, that was the start of Jimmy's Solo Acoustic Soft Rock career as "Saul Goodvibes".
Hell of a performance by the boys at the Kim Wexler feet convention, great memories.

It was hot and crowded but Ill never forget the 77’ show at house of blues. Absolutely electric. Saul had just gotten out of rehab and hadn’t touched the guitar the entire time he was in there. Regardless of that he shredded it that night and went on to absolutely demolish the entire midwest tour. Its a shame they went the way they did in that plane crash but the memories of that night will live with me forever. RIP

I was at the house of blues show in 77, Saul walt, and Jessie really played their hearts out, especially considering the pressure on them from their label to be number one on the charts. It’s a shame we lost them in that damn plane crash, but their music will live on forever in our hearts

Gus is still alive, actually. He quit from music though to pursue a Fried Chicken restaurant interest which is quite successful in New Mexico. He does a lot of documentaries on his time with the band and is living his best life with his Boyfriend, Max.@@justatankwithinternetacces8338

My dad was at the House of Blues in 1977 when he saw these guys live. He said everyone was firing on all cylinders that night, including Saul, who had recently left rehab. The news report of the plane crash still haunts him in his sleep to this day.
My dad was too young to remember or understand, but he said Gramps became a different man that cool October Saturday morning after reading the morning paper…never did yell or scold dad or my aunt ever again.

When i came back home i put on the vinyl of the live show from 77' House of Blues and cried my eyes out for the first time in at least ten years. Man, that House of Blues 77' concert of The Heisenbergs was so wild, I met my wife that night and I swear it wasn't just the music that made my heart race! Now, every time I hear their tunes, it takes me back to the good old days when my hair was long, my love was strong, and my dance moves were questionable at best. You know, memes aside, this truly does honor to Lynyrd Skynyrd. They were always slightly past my time, (by like 40 years, but I knew of them because of songs like Sweet Home Alabama and Tuesday’s Gone, but I never really cared. Then I saw the documentary about them. I was so enraptured by these Florida rockstars that when it got to the plane crash i cried. Free Bird is now is my most listened to song on Spotify. Thanks for listening to my ramble.
