Crazy crazy car. Feels like we are in a new golden age of cars. Every week something new and incredible.
That’s because the rich got richer and there’s such a bigger pool of high-end buyers that they must satisfy. As a fan, it is fun to see.
It’s due to the emissions regs and N/A cars soon to be produced no more. High-end manufacturers are coming out of the woodwork to outdo each other and cash in on the swan song era.
@@Virvum_Juggernaut also a fact that there’s a market for it. They couldn’t even sell all the McLaren F1’s back in the day for $1M, now that’s a low starting price even adjusting for inflation.

Ironically, since the emissions regs are phasing out N/A performance engines, we are now experiencing the most ballistic V12 versions ever to be engineered. This 7.6lt sickness is no exception and (along with the Valkyrie) quite the swan song.

The Valkyrie is road legal ... so depending on where you live (i.e. NOT Australia) I’m sure it’ll be granted the same status once tweaked.
@@MrSabrecat Word. Imagine it’s cost here with our new, luxury car import taxes anyway. These make already expensive cars criminally out of reach for everyone except the 0.1percent elite. Taxes that were originally installed to protect Australia’s local car manufacturing industry which hasn’t existed for decades.

Absolute raw power from engine. Amazing Delage built that awesome sounding engine. Huge congratulations to the whole team that car is amazing.

He stated that the electric motor is built into the transmission q/a separate power supply. So it is a hybrid. Take THAT Toyota.

@@RadialSeeker113 Don't forget the Huayra R. So many amazing sounding cars coming out, but to me, the T50 and Huayra R sound the most musical. Valkerie, this and the Apollo just sound.... Fierce. Not beautiful necessarily though

I noticed the Focal Utopia speakers inside the car...and you can option out a $100,000 Focal loudspeakers for you home painted the same colour as your car.
The car looks very cool and I would not take it over a Valkarie, Jesko or AMG One but if I could have it as well I absolutely would.

A lot of these cars are like supermodels on a runway in dramatic - if artistic, clothing. They good for some of the ultra-rich. They can put them in their wildly over-sized front rooms under glass.

I would love to see a drag race and lap times with this vs the Bugatti Bolide
One is AWD with a 4 turbo 16 cylinder and the other is RWD with much less weight meaning less traction. A 1320' sprint wouldn't tell you as much as both going around a similar track.

Have designed a few tandem seated cars based around a cheaper formula ford with smaller Diesel engines to be efficient and cheap to run, along with still being fun.
Could you not do some type of push rod system to lift the canopy so the mechanism to lift it wouldn't require 2 large actuators on either side? It would lose weight, declutter the interior, and leave you with something more fitting of an entire one off piece of automotive perfection. I heard him say "this is temporary and we will change it on the production model" I wasn't sure if he was talking about the steering wheel or what but a cantilever assembly would allow a much smaller and lighter assembly. Or no hydraulic or electric assembly at all. Just a door you open with a magnetic prop rods that are located at the front. You open the canopy and lift, then as it becomes fully opened the prop rods lock it in. To close it you could have a small button to push that releases the magnets and you can close the canopy.

This is cool because it's nostalgic to me personally I remember having a Hot Wheels car track and the car look just like yours and they even made a cartoon think it was zero g mid-90s Maybe but it might be just a little bit before that even was a thing in the Hot Wheels world
