I’d choose a coffee and a tour with Christian over a beer and a night out with Ozzy Osborne. Special guy 👊
not even a question
Me too.
And I don't even like coffee 😅
Did they even take a sip of the coffee during the video?
Never mind, a sip was taken at 10:26
Interesting comparison. It depends what you wanna talk about don´t you think? Ozzy is not even a car guy, and probably don´t remember that much of his career either. A beer with Brian Johnson of AC/DC would be cool though. Actually Brian should do another season of Cars That Rock and visit Christian and Koenigsegg in Sweden. That would be awesome.
Christian is an amazing guy and loves what he does, he is effortless in his personality...i hope he has people who can carry his legacy with the same passion after he is done
I was having the exact same concern while watching this. I don’t know how someone could fill his shoes.
@@jakesnake1793 He is not the type of person who retiers so they have a few years to find the next "mad scientist" :)
Ferrari never was the same after Enzo passed away. No one will measure up Christian because Koenigsegg is Christian. Certainly the brand will live on and keep expanding beyond his generation and still be tremendously successful but my point is keep enjoying every time he invite us to see every detail of Koenigsegg with a heart wrenching humility which by the way is truly admirable. He knows his creations are reserved for the super rich and yet he enjoys sharing his passion with us like a normal otherworldly smart person would do
@@Pepe_Chad 👍🏿
I have so much respect for Christian. His outlook in the car industry is far beyond other manufacturers. Details are insane on each car and no compromise on engineering. Plus the development of the the business and expansion of production is so impressive.
This man knows everything about his cars. 🤯
He’s one of the best automotive engineers out there
He is a genius. He could have an inventor prize
Exactly what i was thinking 💯
As any factory owner should!
@@brabussi He would probably win that prize every year!
As a Civil Engineer myself, i have some understanding of what it takes to design something special and come up with solutions to things that nobody else will ever see or understand fully. Christian knows every nut, bolt , wire and hydraulic system in every one of his cars. He is a genius of an engineer and I for one have the utmost respect for his beautiful creations
If I had the kind of money where I would consider spending it on a car in this price range it would have to be one of his creations. The passion and attention to detail (especially with respect to the engineering aspects) that this man has makes me want to be a member of the Ghost Squadron.
Like Elon.
he has a business degree, not an engineer. He is very interested in tech but is firstly a entrepreneur.
@@iettord3124 wow, i didn't know that, thanks for the info, he definitely has the mindset of an engineer and if he didn't have any formal training as one, that is even more impressive 👍
No questions about it this man is a genius
I just love how he’s so in tune with everything that’s happening in the factory. He knows what stage each and every chassis is at. He knows exactly what each and every station does. It’s incredible. Huge props to Christian and his team.
You pretty much wrote what i was thinking he knows everything that's happening in his factory which is awesome
Yeah that happens when each car is multi million dollars and bespoke lol
He's not unique though. For example Elon Musk also intimately knows the in and outside of more than one company and their products: SpaceX and Tesla are the largest. He was involved in nearly aspects of design and manufacture, of all products. He goes even further than that: He spent 3 years in the Tesla factory, day and night, getting the production for Model 3 up, running, and corrected. He slept on the office couch or even on the floor, so the workforce knows he's on their level and not high and dry giving orders like most executives.
@@paulmichaelfreedman8334 Cool story my guy. Nobody said there wasn’t another person like him. It’s just refreshing to see it first hand.
@@bradrichter5082 Agreed
Koenigsegg is evolving and progressing at an insane rate, 10 years ago they were making like 10 cars a year in an airplane hangar…now this and it’s getting even bigger
Most of the increase in the wealth of the world is going to the ultra-rich; supercar makers get to milk them to fund engineering excellence.
I hope equally talented engineers are working on battery-electric cars for the masses.
@@skierpage that doesn’t happen without companies and people like this starting it, it’ll trickle down.
@@HypercarHub "It'll trickle down" 😂
@@F0XD1E the technology? Yeah it will…might take 5-10 years but it will.
these exclusive tours are incredible. I can listen to CVK all day long. absolutely amazing what goes into these cars. laser etched individual wires? why?? because Koenigsegg 😎
It also shows how much thought goes into every single part. Once you realise how good and simple the "laser etched wire dispensing machine" (LEWDM) is, it's such a no-brainer I wonder why everyone with large amounts of custom wiring doesn't do it. But Koenigsegg does because they took the time to think about such a trivial thing.
He really knows what he's talking about. Nice to see a boss so involved in the process
Yes, such a cool guy. I´ll buy him a beer anyday..
Christian is by far the most awe inspiring figure in the automotive sector. Incredible to watch.. what a facility he has... amazing..
Christian is operating in a league of his own, mad respect for this dude!!!
As much as I love certain Italian cars, Christian creates some amazing cars.
Christian is simply one of the most amazing people the world has ever seen, I could honestly listen to him for hours and hours, his in depth knowledge and passion for every single part of his business is inspirational, I’m absolutely convinced he could make a discussion on where he buys his stationary from totally immersive and fascinating in that completely relaxed style that he is a Jedi master at!
Also Mr. JWW, Christian would not talk to just anyone and give Tours .
Every time Christian says “this is very interesting “ you know you’re in for a treat
Thanks again for the detailed look at Koenigsegg. So good.
As a Swede, i say we should give this man a reward.
Time to make him a modern day national hero
Han ska fan få en medalj av kungen!
That wiring harness production process is mad 😮
What a dream place to produce dream products! They really go above and beyond on EVERY detail! Thanks a lot to you and Christian for letting us have a glimpse of that! Awesome!
Mr. JWW, as impressed I am with you driving and talking about exquisite cars, your main achievement has to be hanging with Christian when he casually presents one outstanding technical achievement after another! What an amazingly down to earth Car Enthusiast Engineer Entrepreneur etc... he is!
Ha ha thanks - it’s a pleasure to share
Christian really is a genuine bona fide genius!! Another superb video James 👌
It's amazing how almost every single time Christian finishes a sentence, my mind is absolutely blown!
Man this is such a good series
I’m mind blown by the engineering behind Koenigsegg it’s so high tech and highly sophisticated, Christian really is killing it, best automotive engineers out there much respect for him
Bless this man. His cars are the pinnacle of automotive sports cars. If you have made it and fu money this is what you buy, not a Bugatti
1,000,000,000%
Bugatti no longer exists, it's Bugatti-Rimac now. Rimac produces some parts for Koenigsegg. Most of the electric motors and battery packs are made by Rimac for them. Rimac also makes some CNC parts for them for some strange reason.
There's a lot of Rimac parts in Koenigsegg, that's why they're building their own electric motor and battery production facilities now. They want to be independent of other suppliers.
Rimac and Koenigsegg are really good friends, have been for years. They even had collaborative winter testing at Pirelli’s Sottozero Centre a week or so ago.
Buggati : - You can't see that, You can't touch that
Koenigsegg : - You can stand on a thinnest part of a car
Perfectly put 🤣🤣🤣
Christian and his team are not only on an unbelievable technical level but they also manage to make every nut, bolt and part of the car a piece of art.
He has always amazed me with his level of vision and commitment. He is so far ahead of most of his competitors. He has remained small and focused on the consumer. Others are large car companies that focus on their bottom line. He is living his own self made dream job. Hope he is in the game for a very long time.
Absolutely fantastic video James. So chill and yet asking just the right questions. A pure joy to watch. Thanks!
Jesko is on the list for me... one day ♥️
He had me at that airlock roll up door. I've been in building maintenance for 20 years. All the facilities I've worked in and have never seen a roll up door that smooth and fast. Just baller! And I bet that coffee is wonderful too. Sheesh.
This was so informative and entertaining to watch at the same time. What an absolute legend Christian is. Thank you for this entire series.
I love how he gives you these in depth tours and interviews. Such an awesome man, I hope his legacy lives on for many many many years to come ✊✊
I don't think there has ever been a Christian Von Koenigsegg video that hasn't been awesome, but these past videos mixed with the classic Mr. JWW production skills have been mind blowing... I really can't pick a favorite part between the insights into the little details like the wiring looms, the attention to detail, etc. For example, you standing on the "roll bar" of a windscreen was a pretty epic way to show the quality and over-engineering that goes into these cars.
Thank you James for bringing us along. This is a great video. This makes me in love with the Koenigsegg brand, thank you Christian for introducing us to your company.
He knew every small details even on composition of the wire! Such a genius!
Legendary IKEA coffee cups carried around for 22min straight - doesn’t get more Swedish workplace than that !
Straight from IKEA in Helsingborg i assume ;)
Thank you ! I mean you probably want me dead with the quality of these videos but I love all I've seen about Koenigsegg so far, incredible work from start to finish, really can't wait to see their plan for the next 10 years
What an incredible video. Awesome videos man. Christian is just crazy with the engineering of every car.
Awesome these tours are so neat
awesome and amazing as always!
Just amazed by how Christian is so involved, knowledgeable and passionate with the manufacturing of his cars, I work for a car manufacturer myself and I could guarantee most of the high up bosses would not have half a clue of what certain parts are and what they do. His mind and intelligence are on a different level, such a gifted gentleman.
They don't know shit. Just like politicians. Christian is the real deal. 👌
Totally. I respect his involvement on the front line of his company which not many or any CEOs would do.
I absolutely love love love these trips to the Koenigsegg factory! Does anyone else get this much-privileged access to the inner workings of the factory and to Christian's time? Well done James for a great video.
Fascinating! Thanks for sharing this unique look behind the scenes at different car factories👍 Highly appreciated 🙏
Thanks a LOT for all these Koenigsegg videos, they're the epitome of infotainment. Talk about that you got the Grand Tour over there... incredible opportunity, and I'm so glad you took well care of it and shared it with us.
I got to chat with Christian for a bit last year. He really seems like a guy who is completely happy because he is doing exactly what he wants to do.
This is the first video in a long time I haven't skipped through. Incredible!
So cool to see this. Thanks for bringing it to us 👍🏻 Beautifully over-engineered parts and wiring - I love it.
Outstanding! Thank you for yet another mind-blowing video.
It’s great how much he obviously likes and trusts you .these tours are amazing and fascinating and very special. Really enjoyable to watch.
What a pleasure is to see these videos…really love it!!!! 🙌🙌🙌
Amazing! I absolutely love this type of content. Christian is wizard and seems like a pretty good dude. Salute !
These videoes are always amazing!
Love your uploads! Bringing us close to christian
Awesome video. Your channel is really the only one in the automotive world bringing us incredible behind the scenes looks like this
Yet another fantastic video James.
Amazing video, Christian is so interesting, you can feel how much he love his job and how much he know about every little thing around each car, in the last few years Koenigsegg has become my favorite car maker and it's partly because of him.
It is really staggering that one man can know so much about such a large and complicated building and build processes and all the machines that make everything. Unreal
Excellent video, as usual! Love the interaction between you and the CvK! Cheers from... well... Sweden. :)
Thanks Jens
this facility and the access granted has been truly IMPRESSIVE!! Thanks.
Mr Koenigsegg what an amazing and humble person you are, I have watched so many of your interviews and unveiling's and you come across as your average guy next door who just so happens to build cars, its humbling to see you get excited about an internal roller door in a factory that produces the worlds finest automotive masterpieces, this is the closest I will ever get to one of your cars, very few have made it to Australia so thank you for your insight and the updates.
I love the fact that Christian knows exactly what is going on at every stage of production and development. The fact that he can explain what they have done and why they have done it just shows how involved he is with product development.
thank you so much for providing the world with this content. You literally get to document history. amazing
Christian is more than amazing. I could watch his videos over & over again. Thanks also to Mr JWW for these wonderful videos.
I've been following you since sub 20,000 subscriptions! I absolutely love your videos and the content. I could listen to Christian talk cars all day....You're ok also!🤣🤣...Keep the good stuff coming
AMAZING video !!
Absolutely love these videos!
Those wiring maps take the concept of point to point hand wiring to a whole new level. Brilliant when you include the QC process described by Christian. I absolutely LOVE these manufacture process videos. The enthusiasm and pride just bursts out of Christian. Awesome. Keeps these coming!! 👍🏻😎👍🏻
I’m absolutely loving this!
The wiring/harness portion of this video was so satisfying!! Thank you for this great insight into Koenigsegg's operations.
Great video!!!
Super cool! thanks for sharing
I'm thinking of starting my own car company I don't have a complete design yet but i'll continue to try
Oh by the way i'm still just 14 so I still have a way's to go
@@nozy-fan7919 Good luck, don’t give up.
Christian is proof that you still can. Just dream big and work hard
Amazing content James. So good to be able to see the level of detail and craftsman ship that goes into each car. Keep it up sir ❤
Loves these videos, please keep them coming. I find that it's interesting they don't use a strain relief on their harness near the terminals.
Honoured you bet to get such privileged tour with this Super Man Christian ! thanks for the great work JWW
This company never fails to amaze me. The attention to detail and innovation is so interesting to see. I don't have a real frame of reference to know how exceptional this is but I do know they seem to be the only hypercar company showing me what they do in this much detail. Well done.
Love this details and the willing from Koenigsegg to let us see inside the factory. Wished we could see more of these videos from other manufacturers.
Great video, James. It’s fascinating to see how these incredible cars are designed and built. CK is a wealth of knowledge and it comes so easily to him. It’s always a real education getting to listen to him. And who’d have thought they’d grow to the size they are? Incredible! Well done, sir!
Hi James ,That was a seriously interesting video. As an engineering inspector the engineering in this factory is on another level. I love christians knowledge on everything going on in his factory. I’d love to see more factory tours like this , very informative, great video.
AMAZING. You are showing us the history of automotive r..evolution. Did awesome job John... one of the best videos you ever made, definitely. Christian and his car company deserves it all too...Thank you.
Thx for interesting content, can watch these kind of videos all day.
Christian is such an amazing person, an endless supply of automotive knowledge. You could have made this 4 hours long and I’d still be glued to the screen every single second of it 👌. Thank you James for bringing us such entertaining and informative videos, I love them!
I'm not even a car person, but this enthusiasm and knowledge is captivating.
MEGA Engineering and MEGA Content! Fantastic! 👍 thanks
This is truly amazing. The engineering that’s has gone into the design, build etc is just extraordinary.
I was happy to hear he invited you back, can't wait to see your first drive!
The evolution of mr.CVK's factories awe me so much, long way that what he become today, with all the innovation he had made also blew my mind.... 1st the gearless transmission, then the freevalve , now that tiny electric motor that produce 300bhp and 600nm of torque!! Damn that beautiful bald head is a full connected neuron machine...haha
simply amazing... thank you so much to Christian for allowing such insight to an amazing business
Thanks for this! Koenigsegg is one a kind.
Great content, a privileged insight! Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Been waiting on this one. 👍💪
I love how many young faces i saw building this spaceship! Amazing!
I could watch these all day. This is the only channel that I have notifications enabled for.
I have such admiration for this Mans, Spirit to keep pushing the envelope and creating. all the best from Dave in Australia
Superb video ❤️ (I have seen on their homepage that they offer factory tours). Would love to see a report from any other hypercar factory as well.
Thank goodness Amazing build rooms truly enjoyed seeing this come together ❤ I've been yodeling on Lake listening too the echoes excellent presentation beautiful factory best wishes
I love watching these in depth videos of CVK. He holds nothing back and let's you see anything you want. He really loves sharing information with others. The things he goes thru to make his cars the best is unreal. I would love to be able to own one of his cars. They are badass in everyway.
I loved watching every minute! Salute to you and also a BIG shout out to the workers on the floor :) just one little thing, open top cups and Coffee of all drinks on a manufacturing production floor... YIKES :/ The amount of work and hours everyone puts into making these come to life though, just breath taking.
Loving this content. Christian is so passionate and wants to show everything which is amazing considering how some companies are so secretive.
I love the detail that Christian goes into in the video, such confidence to share so much of their process.
I could watch these 2 an entire day!
Having worked at both Boeing and MD Helicopters I am impressed. You don't even find attention to detail like that in the aerospace industry. Although many of the operations are similar this is like comparing a class one clean room environment to a car wash.
This sort of thing on UA-cam just blows me away,....the world needs to know, and thankfully Christian doesn't mind showing us what he's been doing ~ amazing!
This man deserves all his success!...the harness, "the nerve system of the car," how true, incredible!.....More in time if possible.
