Great review. I have an older Metroboard - non-slim and older controller style - that I still love. You are right when you say that you can tell that these are hand built. Expensive but still a purchase that I have never regretted.

If you are looking for a great board then Metroboard is a very good option. I personally have the 33" mini slim longboard stealth edition, 27 mile range and 10 watt LEDs. This board is built to last. Many choices are coming out on the market. I recommend you add Metroboard to your list of favorites. What's not to like!
Awesome review. While you were riding the Metro, did you have any issue while turning hard toeside (regular) and losing some power since only one wheel is belt driven and your weight is shifting off of that wheel on a shorter deck? Or, does the board maintain consistent contact with no wheel slip? It would probably only be in very sharp turns, but I was curious. Thanks Talon!
Great question! I actually cut that part out of the video because I wanted to keep it shorter, but yes you will get a little wheel slip when accelerating and breaking under tight turning. It was something to get used to, but after you feel it once or twice you sorta correct for it with your body position. Thanks for watching! 👊🏻

I wonder at the longevity of the rear truck. Did they heat treat the axle after they welded it? Welding anneals the aluminum and it needs to be heat treated to bring it back up in strength after welding softens the AL. Anyone have one for a while?

Man I don’t know how you have the nerve to ride them boards through and in traffic like that. I have a stealth and also put 400 + miles on my dual + and I still don’t have the nerve to ride them through traffic like that.
I talked to metroboard but when I asked for help in getting a different deck worked out I was treated very rudely. They said if it's not on their site then they don't offer it. Unfortunate considering I still do like their boards.
Stefan0man I’m very surprised to hear this. What kind of build were you trying to do? Custom build take extra time and cost more. They deck also has to be of similar specs to their decks.

I met the founder of metroboard Ilan is a great guy! Kef Tech company that makes metroboard is Israeli but the boards are assembled in California.
Actually Kef Tech is a US based company. The boards are made in Southern Washington State!
