    Crowded House starts 24:15
The night before, Richard Thompson and his band played the Warfield Theater. The two nights after, Crowded House played the Warfield with Sheryl Crow opening. The night of this in-store, there was a "NARM" (National Association Of Record Merchants) show at the Warfield with Richard Thompson and band, Crowded House, and Cracker headlining (if I remember correctly).

Such a exceptionally talented, endearing and witty band. There’s no one like them. Then and now. Thanks for this.

Were The Crowdies and Richard Thompson on the same label? They did more than one promo tour of record stores and radio stations together over the years.

Yes, they were both on Capital Records. The President of Capital was an RT fan, which is why he was on the label.

@@s0ld4u OK. I still remember him being on Hannibal Records on his first 2 solo albums.

@@shawnuel They also used the same producer (M Froom) for a time as well and toured together formally around that time too (Woodface era). ANd of course Thompson played on Sister Madly.

@@s0ld4u , the president of Capital being an RT fan didn't prevent them from dropping him for lackluster record sales. I personally felt that Mitchell Froom wasn't a good choice to produce Richard either.

This is March 21st 1994. Paul would leave the band 14th April 1994.

Mark Hart doing the Sister Madly end, when Richard Thompson is the room, what? He did the original!

“Fall At Your Feet” isn’t the best song on which for Nick’s bass to be a little too hot in the mix. Even then, it always remains one of the best songs ever written.

Brando Mumble, Mingus Eyes; Cant Wake Up; 1952 Vincent Black Lightning; I feel So Good; and I can't remember the name of the last one....
