When people ask for something in a prayer and it does not appear right before them, they then say, Oh you don't want me to have whatever you prayed for. I have found all my prayers get answered, but it may not be today or tomorrow. Some have taken decades. But if one does not get their prayers answered within a day or so, they loose faith. Hold strong and have faith. I believe your faith is being tested. God Bless.

Zach the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is more than speaking in tongues. You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. When I received Him I went from shy and introverted with social anxiety disorder to having the Holy Spirit work through me doing things for God I didn't think would be possible. All of it through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Side note: speaking in tongues is a gift, and not everyone gets that gift. Alot of people forget that there are also interpreters of tongues which are equally as important.

Cattywampus is an American-based colloquialism or slang that etymologists believe to be of Scottish influence. We use “cattywampus” in the English language as an adjective. The word has alternate spellings and we also use it as “catawampus.”

1 Peter 3:21 - And that water is a picture of baptism, which now saves you, not by removing dirt from your body, but as a response to God from[g] a clean conscience. It is effective because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In the upper room Jesus washed the feet of most there. When Jesus broke bread & shared wine. Basically said do these things that I've shown you. This is how it's supposed to be.
When John Baptizes, it's a ceremonial, and a temporary washing away of sin. When one is Baptized into Jesus, it has eternal consequences and it's the only baptism needed. Jesus being Baptized gives efficacy/power to our baptism. A cool way to look at Jesus being baptized in the river, by John, is it's the point where Jesus becomes our sin bearer. Imagine if all of the sins of the men who were baptized by John were floating in the river and Jesus takes those sins upon himself, and subsequently begins his journey to the cross, where HE destroys those sins, and all subsequent sins of all those who believe in Him, and who are Baptized into His death and resurrection.
Wrong direction is what I'm seen it as I love this part about Jesus it means he had to learn like us and he was young but he listen to them and learned by their teaching him
Cattywampus - Originating in the Colonial United states and still used in the deep South, cattywampus means something that is in disarray, that is askew
He had to come in human form to die on the cross to fulfill the word (cursed is he who hangs on a tree he took the curse from the garden) the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus the Word came to fulfill the word! What a plan
Could it be that the flesh nature had to exemplify the baptism, even though the divine nature did not require the baptism? And was it a prophetic act leading to His death, burial, and resurrection?
He was told in the wilderness by the Lord the sign of the Holy Spirit as a dove would come upon Jesus without measure then John was professing Him as the Lamb of God and Messiah
The world reached 4D will be entering into the 5D. This is the time the demons are let loose to wage war so good luck armor on !!!! Shadows will now be seen. The dead in Christ are risen and I have now been made an Archangel!!! Jesus and the Holy Ghost have ascended into heaven. My spaceship hovers over me to protect me and my house now. Be strong in the Lord and bring all to JESUS as possible
To be sin ( to beat the wrath of sin to satisfy Gods wrath) Jesus was sinless in His humanity too. If not He did not qualify as an atonement and we are all doomed.
Poor ole John the Baptist, he followed Jesus and God and had the worst death of all 😪 I always wondered why but I know it all happened the way it was suppose to.
Whatever that word is you just said at the beginning I don’t know what that word is and I don’t know what it means and I’ve never heard that word. Hope you guys explain what the word means.
I believe there was repentance with Jesus--as a human being he repented of the sins of all humanity. And by being baptized he demonstrated that it is required of humans to be born again in the Holy Spirit to be righteous and a son of God. I recently studied Mark 3:28, which I still need to look at some more, but commentaries seem to indicate that unbelief is what is unforgivable, and one doesn't truly believe without repentance. And no righteousness without repentance. So it seems to me Jesus had to be baptized, otherwise it would have been blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, which he himself said is unforgivable.
Matt 7:24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. On our death bed...tis 'ESSENTIAL' I know I built on rock...the truth...Jesuschrististruthmyrock... ...as the alternative? Curse God n die. My plan is to KNOW HE KNOW ME!... Why am I plannin? Cause statically ain't no tent gettin outta here alive! That why... "...the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock."
Jesus and us as the groom and his bride must be unified... He partook in our sins to become sin so in turn, of course he had to be water baptized... Stop thinking with a carnal mind and allow for the Holy Spirit to give you the meaning. He who knew no sin became sin.. And just like his death on the cross we must die to the flesh as well.. everything he sees the father do he does and everything he does we do..
Ritual cleansing for sins using water wasn't in the OT? It only came about with John the Baptist? C'mon guys, y'all are WAY smarter than to make statements of such. Of course baptism was going on in the OT. Now, of course it comes into a new, more focused meaning with John the Baptist and with Jesus, but not only were there the symbolic baptisms (Noah, Red See, dipping in the Jordan, etc) but even the priests were to perform ritual water cleansing prior to the sacrifices. So the idea of water cleansing for purity was well versed in the Hebrew culture, but not to the extent of the submersion of the entire body for the remission of one's own sins as John the Baptist story gives us. You guys do a great job. Just saying.
When people ask for something in a prayer and it does not appear right before them, they then say, Oh you don't want me to have whatever you prayed for. The Holy Spirit descended upon Him
He became obedient
JESUS NEEDED TO RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT,THAT IS WHY HE WAS BAPTIZED, NOT BECAUSE OF SIN.
