Yeah, my confusion with the S9 was cleared up when I realised it was meant to be a ‘fun’ camera, better than iPhone. But unfortunately for me the ‘fun’ use case includes beach, pool, snow, camping, bars and restaurants etc. So to be an effective fun camera for me I need weather sealing. Thus it doesn’t cut it. So it is a qualified fun camera. It is limited to ‘fair weather fun’ and given the lack of flash, ‘indoor fun when it isn’t too dark’. A bit too limited for me.
