Three years ago I bought an 05 that had been sitting for a year because it was not running right. Turns out it had a cracked head and was getting fuel in the coolant. I bought the truck, not knowing what was wrong at the time, because of the confidence I gained watching Bill's videos. I am now restoring the truck by painting the frame, all new suspension, brakes, interior, engine, and so on. I have also bought and parted out five 6.0 engines since. It has really turned into a hobby and Bill is the reason. When i get the truck done I am going to bring it to Bills shop and show him what he has caused.
Bill, since ive been watching all your videos and what to look for when buying a used 6.0 YOU saved ME money, I dodged 3 bad trucks thanks to you. If i didn't watch your videos I would have bought one of them. now I have a nice 06' 6.0 that's mechanically sound and has been maintained well. thank you.
@powerstrokehelp Your videos have changed how I look at diesel trucks. Went to a Ford and a Ram Dealer here in Charlotte,NC and they aren’t able to sell me on the I6 6.7 or the V8 6.7. There is a 6.0 Bulletproof Powerstroke dealer close by in Rock Hill, SC I’ll check out tomorrow in order to compare with the specifications of how you bulletproof your trucks, but no matter what. After purchasing my 6.0 f250 for my business it’s coming straight to you!
Hey Bill !, Have you thought about doing a video on "Gasoline in Diesel ?" Is there a way to test it if you suspect it being contaminated ? I have a 2013 F250 w/ 6.7 L (78000 miles) . I filled up at a station and pumped 24 gallons of what I thought was #2 Diesel. (receipt says so) So, 7 miles later heavy smoke, Reduced Power Mode, followed by very loud knocking and then nothing, Dead, stranded on the side of the road. New engine for sure, now the brains of the exhaust system has to be replaced. 26K so far. Thanks....Ed, Olalla, WA

i just tried archoil friction mod in my 6.0. truck died within driving 1/2 mile from my house. BUT when it cranked back, it has never ran/sounded better since ive owned it. thanks guys! edit im thinkin maybe it cleaned it so good it clocked the pump w garbage, no trouble since
