Thanks for sharing this I love these types of 'on-camera' videos.
Very natural lighting👍👍
Thank you so much!
Really helpful and well explained. Thank you for this video.
Happy to help!!
Awesome insight! Thank you
Love your work! Truly inspired 💯
Thanks so much!
This is literally amazing thank you😭
Thanks for this! Was wondering, what is your approach to focusing? Are you using AF-C and moving the point around with the joystick?
It depends. A lot of the time, yes. AF-C and adjusting the moveable spot focus. Sometimes it's just set to wide. Depends on the situation really.
What type of focus do you use for the bridal party walking down? With moving subjects, how do you make sure they are in forcus? Thanks!
So I’m using Sony a7iii with “Lock On AF: Center” in the Continuous AF setting so it will track them as they get closer.
during weddings do you change the scenes or do you either keep it at AWB or Daylight etc and also do you put it on high burst mode?
I’m always using custom Kelvin white balance. I keep burst mode around low to medium burst but typically shoot 2-3 frames at a time
What aperture setting do you typically use for the bridal party and on the couple?
Couple is anywhere from 1.4-2.8
Bridal party is around 2.8
if you shooting a wedding ,do you overexpose or underexpose and why ?
I mean, depends a little bit on your editing style. For me, I tend to consistently overexpose a by a 1/3 to 1 stop. No real reason behind it rather than I don't mind much if my highlights are a little bright, but I hate grain/noise in my shadows.
For outdoor wedding with different exposures, do you set the ISO to auto?
Nope. I’m never using auto. Most of the time, once the couple is set at the front, the exposure for the rest of the ceremony is going to be the same. Normally I’ll adjust the shutter speed to increase or decrease exposure if the light is different in random areas around the ceremony.
I like to see that perfect p)ace for the ceremony lots chairs to wa)king with my good right leg with walker
