Not gonna lie, I have mad respect for VATSIM controllers. I just passed my VATSIM test on the first try, and now I'm studying all the frases and procedures, watching UA-cam videos, writing it all down, listening in on vpilot, just to not disappoint you guys when I will take my first flight. I think I'm ready, but still kinda nervous because I don't wanna screw it up.
The effort is spot on! Sadly lots of people are incompetent and just go on frequency with 0 knowledge of the aircraft or network. Don’t worry about making mistakes, it’s part of learning!
You will always be nervous for the first flight! Sounds like you have put in all the effort you need to so go for it!

Any example of a PDC being processed using CPDLC? Never seen it from a controller perspective. Also amazing work controlling all those A/C and coordinating with other controllers

Was there a reason for 08R ops as from my understanding, 08R isn't the preferred runway.
Tailwind higher than 5 knots, so the runway was swapped! 26L is preferred when the winds have tailwinds less than 5kts.
Is there de-icing on Vatsim in winter if someone has a GSX?
Depends. You do not need to request de-icing on stand. If you want de-icing after pushback, you need to request it from ATC.
