A lovely video as usual, Gråman is a handsome boy, and he was the cutest foal. The biggest challenge for me with my young horses was to make sure that I didn't make any horrible errors training them. I'm fortunate to have a very good trainer with strong principles, but when in doubt I think it is so important to be patient and err on the side of caution. So my two young horses were trained with lots of treats, and very little pressure, probably too little at times, but it worked out in the end, even if I never got round to teach them to wear a bridle, I might do it next year.
Biggest challenge of owning a young horse-trying not to be too biased when you see such potential and beauty in their baby confirmation. It’s so easy to daydream about how talented they’ll be when they’re grown-when it’s just as likely that they’ll be pretty average.
Hi 😊 In this video (link in this comment) I explain why we trim the fjordhorses manes, and the different styles and traditions around it. How to cut a horse mane like a pro #fjordhorse ua-cam.com/video/_n8c8TYcYKY/v-deo.html I hope you enjoy it, and I’m happy to answer more questions as well!
@@Horsewis I watched the beautiful bicolor mane's trim video. Now, my first thought was, if nature is perfect, then maybe the thick and heavy manes are a protection and a way to keep them warm as wild horses from the extreme cold winter from Norway ?! Just an idea... 🥰
What do you think is the most challenging aspect of owning a young horse?

Just gorgeous 😍
Some really idyllic scenes in this video ❤ I just love how well you can see his personality comes through as he matures.
He sure matures, day by day. Very much fun to work with him! What scenes did you like the most in this video? 😊
@@Horsewis my absolute favourite was the one were there is one at the front lying down and then a few behind. That's a dream of a scene 😍
There both stunning ❤
Thank you! What part of the video did you enjoy the most today?
@@HorsewisI couldn’t tell you why but my heart melts when I see a fjord driving ❤

I totally resonate! And with emotions in addition, it can be a challenge to see that the horse is ordinary and not special 😂🤭
Taking a guess , the young horse’s boundless energy and urge to play and not work ?
Why do you trim the manes of your horses? is there a reason, a specific purpose ? thank you
