The long landing annunciation is triggered when the aircraft is:
1) in the landing phase of flight
2) over a runway above 5ft AGL and below 100 ft AGL and vertical speed is below +300 ft/min (for go-around detection)
3) past a certain distance from the approach end of the runway
This distance is configurable and is taken as the lesser of two values: as a percentage of runway length and an absolute distance value. The defaults that X-RAAS uses are from the Honeywell SmartLanding system manual and are pretty stringent: 25% runway length or 2,000 ft, whichever is shorter. The normal touchdown aiming point on most runways used by airliners is about 1,000 ft from the runway threshold and commercial pilots are required to demonstrate being able to touch down within about 70 ft from their desired aiming point. Therefore, hovering past 2,000 ft is a pretty serious case of the floaties. A long landing annunciation isn't the end of the world though, it just means you were either too high on approach or rounded too early.
You can change the settings in X-RAAS, of course. It is a configurable item exactly because it isn't a one-size-fits-all kinda deal. Some aircraft have different performance and some operators land at pretty non-standard runways, so it might require tweaking so you're happy with it. Let me know over skype if you want pointers on how to do it.

FlightAware is not accurate nor is it detailed enough, Wizz Air flight from london Luton To Split in croatia never shows up in flightAware yet its a real world flight.....even though BA would never fly around in USA anyways, only to and from....its just good fun and good practice to use any operator we want lol
Agreed. It doesn't show ALL of the flights that are taking place daily! For example, I know that some plane request that flight aware does not show them on their site.
