A GM got ahold of me wondering what I was doing there, and I had to explain to him that I was hacked. Thankfully, the GM must have confirmed it by looking up the ticket I had sent and ported me back to SW. I eventually got my gear and gold back. Tbh it was his fault for letting that tcpo guy even stay there. He should have spoke up like "Hey, this guy isn't repaired, isn't specc'd right, is doing horrible damage, etc. Should we REALLY keep him or let him have any loot?" and let the group decide from there or just kicked him if he was the raid leader. Not "Ok let him roll on loot." and think he won't win the roll (since he clearly did). Raid loot scam? That's really a thing that blizzard enforces now? Shit I wish that existed back in wotlk days. I still remember in a nax25 the turning tide dropped, I won the roll and the Raid leader wanted to give it to his buddy instead. His "reason" for it is that it was reserved if it dropped but between the two of them they didn't tell anybody. So Skampy on Whisperwind,if you are reading this well over a decade later you can chug on my scrote.
3:20 No, if you say that his performance is too low, just exclude him from the raid/boss fight. If you take him into the fight without him agreeing to go without loot beforehand and refuse to give him the loot, you are loot scamming. And he wasn't getting banned (permanent) but just suspended (temporarily) as you yourself said.
Soda honestly got lucky all that happened during MoP. It was basically the last xpac that they had real GMs answer phone calls and handle customer support. Now its all underpaid interns with no perms or bots
Back in the day during wrath my father's account got hacked by some chinease guy and his stuff and gold taken. After contacting customer service they banned him because the hacker used his account to sell in-game stuff for real life money. Goes to show how inept the customer support is.
Blizzard security is horrendous. There was a time many years ago I hadn't played in years and my account was accessed by someone and some gold and items were removed. That was entirely on Blizzard's security. I hadn't received any "phishing" attempts, entered that account info anywhere in years. No possible way for anyone to have gotten that information.
Still sounds like entirely on YOU. It's YOUR responsibility to have your account secure, not Blizzard. In fact, their TOS states they can ban you at ANY TIME THEY DESIRE. You use their service, the account is still THEIRS. Anyway back on topic, you could have made a more difficult password using symbols like @! and a mix of capitals and normal letters. Also depending on how long ago this was, you could have an authenticator added, either physical or through your phone. Noone just randomly gets hacked in a game like WoW. You either left your info somewhere or had too poor of a security and/or made a lot of enemies that would want to clean your account.
That's really a dick move but sometimes Blizz will give random players permabans while not telling them why so it could be worse. Also a rogue with PvP talents who came to raid with broken gear and DPSed with a bow should be instakicked, he didn't deserve the rogue loot.
Imagine being a new player and getting invited to content way out of your level and expecting to be treated the same as the people carrying you. Like sure hand him some shit gear that no one wants but BiS? Fuck off... He will never get invited to any raid with that kind of reputation...
@@lazyhero2394 He wasn't really a new player. Raids are endgame content so it means he must have been level 60. And getting to level 60 in vanilla / wow classic isn't a tutorial so he should know how to play and you don't play as a "bow rogue"
Most times, streamers just don't know how to keep themselves out of trouble. Sometimes, they just do things that they don't realize are just plain stupid. Others are the malicious internet sociopaths that revel in takedowns. Whatever the case, people need to be smarter than this. Because you are. Be better.
So Blizzard now has the authority to punish it's player base for not distributing loot according to it's own arbitrary rule set?? Now we have to give loot to appropriate people in raids and dungeons? What other ridiculous suspension reasons are they going to come up with I wonder?
0:56 i had that happen to me before... blizzard just rolledback my entire account to before the hack (before the first connection from a completely different ip, far from my own address or anywhere i usually connected to) wich was like 24hours lol and they went and tracked the people my acct had traded with and took away the shit my acct gave to them (mostly gold, since most of wow stuff is bound obviously) the entire tthing was 100% resolved in less than 48h from my first ticket lol
I own my guild, I have owned it for over 10 years, and my guild is like one big family, and when we do dungeons and raids, we don't greed on loot that we don't need. If someone really needs it, we give it to them. Also if we get trash loot that we don't need, we all get together after the run, and see who needs what, if we don't need it.
Blizzard gave me a two week suspension for saying they have gone woke in trade chat. Being forced to complete a gay quest line in retail, isn’t something I appreciated. Voicing that in trade chat, goes against their policy on harassment. I guess my opinion, is now harassment.
I mean, u can see when the messages were send right? when Soda got messaged from a GM.. how can the GMs not put 2 and 2 together. I mean is it that hard xD?

+1 sub, Nice work DUUUUUDD ! We need more vids like this :)
The whole soda hacker thing was really fucking common
Raid loot scam? That's really a thing that blizzard enforces now?
Shit I wish that existed back in wotlk days. I still remember in a nax25 the turning tide dropped, I won the roll and the Raid leader wanted to give it to his buddy instead.
His "reason" for it is that it was reserved if it dropped but between the two of them they didn't tell anybody.
So Skampy on Whisperwind,if you are reading this well over a decade later you can chug on my scrote.
It's funny that right now it's players that ban blizzard ... 😂🤣
This channel needs to learn the difference between BANNNED and SUSPENDED.
stop putting this random gameplay into your videos pls
I agree. This video fucking sucked.
You talk about mists of pandaria as if its ancient 👀👀
3:20 No, if you say that his performance is too low, just exclude him from the raid/boss fight. If you take him into the fight without him agreeing to go without loot beforehand and refuse to give him the loot, you are loot scamming.
And he wasn't getting banned (permanent) but just suspended (temporarily) as you yourself said.
Soda honestly got lucky all that happened during MoP. It was basically the last xpac that they had real GMs answer phone calls and handle customer support.
Now its all underpaid interns with no perms or bots
The soda thing why didn't they just revert his account/characters/items
Blizzards cs is shitt lol
Video hasnt even loaded and all i gotta say is, RIP reckful 😢
Nah, there’s no justification for scamming the roll.
"early days during mists of pandaria"
Wtf do you call everything before pandaria? The prequel?
Back in the day during wrath my father's account got hacked by some chinease guy and his stuff and gold taken. After contacting customer service they banned him because the hacker used his account to sell in-game stuff for real life money. Goes to show how inept the customer support is.
You all need to know the difference between suspended and banned.
Liked for lack of clickbait
This guy saw the Ludwig video about paying someone to make him a good video
@@KodokuSamaa You apparently don't read too well.
And you are absolutely incorrect.
@epic gamer
Do u have chat platform
Streamers are EXTREMELY weird!
they have to be, otherwise they do not stand out.
Glad I haven't played this game in 14 years
3 day ban for not giving a bad player gear, that's a bit ridiculous. Payo did nothing wrong.
For the first one getting banned for a hacking messing with you just sue blizz ain’t putting up with that crap I spent so much money on that game
Most times, streamers just don't know how to keep themselves out of trouble.
Sometimes, they just do things that they don't realize are just plain stupid.
Others are the malicious internet sociopaths that revel in takedowns.
Whatever the case, people need to be smarter than this. Because you are. Be better.
blame the vpn dont ever take blame for what u might of did
So Blizzard now has the authority to punish it's player base for not distributing loot according to it's own arbitrary rule set?? Now we have to give loot to appropriate people in raids and dungeons? What other ridiculous suspension reasons are they going to come up with I wonder?
I got my account back in 2010 banned for 3 days for naming afroamerican gorilla hunter pet
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
0:56 i had that happen to me before... blizzard just rolledback my entire account to before the hack (before the first connection from a completely different ip, far from my own address or anywhere i usually connected to) wich was like 24hours lol and they went and tracked the people my acct had traded with and took away the shit my acct gave to them (mostly gold, since most of wow stuff is bound obviously) the entire tthing was 100% resolved in less than 48h from my first ticket lol
you get to know who a person is when he/she plays WoW
lawyers ruin the world
Well not as bad as FFXIV. You can get banned for standing around and chilling.
Who asked?
@@flexxbrosaak5483 You must have a shitty guild?
@@JenniferBuechner who asked?
@@flexxbrosaak5483 Wouldn't you like to know? :)
@@flexxbrosaak5483 Why you being salty? I haven't done anything to you!
Tcpo no longer exist because he name change after he reported payo for loot scam.
3:50 I bet Payo read: 72 hour suspension
HOUR kind of looks like JOUR (French for day)
man that he had a 72 JOUR ban lmfao
SEVANTY TWO DAYS TABARNAK
Blizzard gave me a two week suspension for saying they have gone woke in trade chat. Being forced to complete a gay quest line in retail, isn’t something I appreciated. Voicing that in trade chat, goes against their policy on harassment. I guess my opinion, is now harassment.
Payo deserved that ban.
I don't know this payo guy, but to be honest he is indeed a loot scam. Well deserved ban.
Reckful?
Who wears a headband while playing a video game? Looking like a character from an American Pie movies.
Sodapoppin is famous for getting banned online constantly! lol
"earlier days of wow during mists of pandaria" ROLF! mists was not "earlier days of wow" .
"It was a hacker" yeh lol.. suuuuure 🤣🤣🤣
I mean, u can see when the messages were send right? when Soda got messaged from a GM.. how can the GMs not put 2 and 2 together. I mean is it that hard xD?
