Lucas' second goal is just amazing, one of my favorite goals ever. He was surrounded by many players, no space, he had to dribble the opposite direction, tremendous quality with the ball, and then the improbable and brilliant finishing. This was one of the few times in recent years that I have to say I was proud to be brazilian. To see this guy doing what he did in this match. They deserved to win the UCL (but so did Liverpool).
It was the GK's reaction on that second goal that said it all. It's like the point of no return, in retrospect: they weren't stopping Lucas Moura.

After 5 years I can finally comment on this, rollercoaster of emotions that I will hopefully never experience again (from Ajax perspective). I was in the stadium and never felt so devastated as that last second goal, crazy how everyone was just silent. No anger, just silent. Still believe that team could have won it that year
IDK. That was against prime Liverpool. But, Ajax that season was unbelievable. From 2nd qualifying round all the way to semi after 24 years. Truly carrying the Dutch. Hope you can recover and going far in UEL. At least like 2017

I remember Ajax had a breakthrough in the last minute of the game and I was screaming bring the ball to the corner and kill some time, but I think Ziyech went for the goal & hit the post. The rest is history.
