Looking back at this, barca were actually the favourites in winning this ucl despite the decline in form. Valverde wasnt such a bad coach after all just one bad game in the semis. Not gonna lie if barca went through against liverpool they would be the champs for sure.

You are clueless, the reaso why we are like we are is due to Valverde not having intensity in the training and giving the player 5 free days per week. Coutinho is so good here, maybe with setien there is some way to include him in the squad, he can be a world class player just needs the right environment. He has that on the ball ability that is so very important to Barca. He can pass it at Messi, Busquets and Iniesta speeds that is cultivated in La Masia and he can dribble very fluidly.
I was at this game, and while Messi obviously stood out, Arthur was exceptional on the night. If I’d had squinted I’d have thought I was watching Xavi.
