Hi Brian, congratulations on getting your Parole date set for Mid September. It was awesome to see the background for your video outside in the fresh air. Looks like it was a nice sunny day with a beautiful Blue sky above. Best wishes to you as you transition into your Parole. My biggest tip to you would be to make sure you surround yourself with people you can trust to help you be successful at meeting all of the goals you set out for your recovery journey. Cheers.
Hey, just wanted to say that I'm an Indy native, Indiana is a lot more harder to find the drugs than most places closer to the border for sure. I've been trying to get & stay clean using buprenorphine for a few days then I'm just jumping off & will be drug free...fent was my doc tbh & the analogs they use to make it on the streets make it last a lot longer (than medical-grade fent you'd get in a hospital), so withdrawals are brutal from that & make it last a long time but it's crazy what you've gone through & the midwest is probably a safer space to be, in that regard of temptations & trying to finding drugs tbh, there's lots of great recovery groups here that are supportive & non-judgmental to addicts so it'd be cool for you to come this way after you get off house arrest. I'm still on house arrest myself & still trying to find ways to cope & accept that this is where I'm at currently in my life but ya, when you're used to having freedom of being able to drive around whenever you wanted & hangout w/ friends & family members & then suddenly that's stripped away & makes it so you hardly get to see anyone, it's been tough but I'd rather be sober for sure, my worst days sober have been a lot better than my best days getting high & doing stuff just to try get your next fix. My goal was to become a nurse (a crna actually) but the eas(ier) access to drugs & those kinds of medications make me realize that it might not be the best choice or at least until I'm more healed & have some more days (months) of sobriety under my belt, then I might feel differently to work towards that goal again. Anyways, I think you're an awesome guy & thank you for sharing your story/experiences, I'm sure it's helped a lot of people out (including myself), so thank you -Ryan

Hi Brian, just want to suggest that if you don't have a specific topic in mind for a video you can always tell crazy and interesting stories about surviving your Prison days. I'm sure you probably have a lot of interesting incites into how to survive in such a situation.
