Selam sis i am tatar from Poland I had the same difficulty as you with the vegetable filled dumplings recently. I was making mushroom filled uszki and I remembered my grandmothers trick of making sure that the filling is extremely finally chopped and like you said as dry as possible. Your other tip about making sure the dough is stiffer and uses a bit more flour for the vegetable one is also a great one! That’s what I ended up doing as well.
Wow, this is so time consuming to make. Your family is so lucky to get to eat all the delicious food you make. It’s amazing that you can make all these amazing dishes so well. Thank you for sharing this with us.
My friend sent me a link to a mantı recipe recently and I said "I have been meaning to make them for a while". I suppose this is just a sign that I MUST now! :) Thank you for the lovely recipe!
Great job. Grandparents were from Kesari and néné always made manti on her large kitchen table, using her Oklava. She also made the ones baked in the oven, which I preferred better then the boiled ones. They are crunchier. She always cut the left over dough scraps to tiny pieces, to dry them to use in soups later in the winter. Very tasty dish.
Marshallah! I was told before that the smaller the manti, it shows more love and respect. I made manti for my boyfriend for our first Christmas together. Made it so small i had to use tweezers to close them LOL! I will try your recipe too! Thanks so much for your videos!! ☺️
Marshallah. Your neatness says a lot about your cooking 🍳.. ❤ You are so passionate about cooking and I hope that you recipies go viral... ❤ Inshallah Allah......... ❤ 🥰
Selam from Slovenia. I love to prepare turkish food at home, all the spices you need for delicious food.Turkish sweets are amazing. I love to drink demli çay every day. Last year I visited İstanbul it was magic. Çok teşekkür ederim for your recepies. Hoşça kalın.
Salam sister, Masha'Allah another delicious and well explained recipe. Thank you for the history behind the dish, it's very interesting. I also loved your ruler. 😋
I know these will be very tasty. I have similar soft pasta filled with spinach and cheese. It was Italian recipe. My personal opinion smaller size is very time consuming, difficult to make more people. So better making dumpling size. Thank you very much for the well presented video.
I had mantis when I visit Istanbul. I love the concept of putting cold yoghurt on pasta, such a nice way to eat it. Thanks for sharing the thorough recipe. I can now make it at home ^^
This is a perfect recipe, I must say. You did such a great job going over the steps and I love the cultural context and the references. Thank you! Instant like and subscribe 😊
I came here after seeing interview of Turkish actress Tuba büyüküstün. In her interview she said she likes Mante alot. And now that i watched you make it I can say why she love this dish❤
Bless your patience for preparing them, sweet Aysenur!! Mouth watering, indeed, I remember my grandmother's manti and the feast in the table each time she prepared them. Now I only eat them in an Armenian restaurant that prepares them but can't be compared with my childhood's... I wish I had time to try them myself, but if they turn out to be delicious, as I expect, everybody would want them more often... 😋
Vous me donnez la faim...je suis très impressionnée par votre plat qui semble tellement bon. Même à la façon végétarienne ils semblent délicieux. J'aimerais bien essayer ces recettes en espérant réussir. Bon appétit 🤭
Sister, you're absolutely fabulous. I just learn that our national dish originates in Mongolia, interesting... We call them halušky here. The traditional form is they are covered with soft sheep cheese and there are mashed potatoes in the dough. You may add a bit of sour cream on the top and a few tiny pieces of bacon. They are also eaten plain as a side dish to another main dishes like guláš or kurací perkelt. Wow, your channel is the most informative I have seen on UA-cam after a long while, maşallah! ❤🍽❤
Ever since I ate these at a Turkish restaurant I couldn’t stop thinking about them! Thanks for making this video so beginner friendly! I will try to make them hehe.
Manti is our favorite dish at home...we make both Turkish kind and the Afghan kind, which I steam...they both come out amazing. This recipe looks so clean and delicious..thank you dear...Allah raz olsun ve Afiyet olsun 😍

Mantu in Afghanistan is served with Chana dal, yoghurt and dried mint. It is more spicy, and contains ginger garlic paste. Also Afghans have Ashak, dumplings stuffed with gandana. I am an Indian by the way, Bengali😊😊😊😊
@@tahminaansar3249 I wanted to make ahak someday at home, but it is too much of work. Also we donot get gandana here, so I don't know the most appropriate substitute for it. As far as I know, almost every provice has a different shape of ashak. Ghazni province makes it very small.
My husband is Palestinian and there they make something that is very similar, called Shishbarak. The shape is different though a half moon were the points are stuck together. The Turkish shape seems much easier especially to make smaller sizes, so I will try this version. But I will keep the way we make the yoghurtsauce, I boil the yoghurt to a thick sauce and pour dried mint fried in butter with garlic over top. I just love hot yoghurt sauce .
