This is the first time I've seen the most comprehensive free curriculum for beginner to advance level. Thank you for this. It's pretty good and I'll try to apply it.
I'm 17 years old and I'm learning python in school, it's not amazing especially since the teacher isn't great at teaching, so I was kind of losing the drive to keep on learning to code, but this... This gets me excited to get back in to learning Thanks a lot :)
I've been trying so long to do something like this! Thank you so much for your hard work. It definitely takes a lot of time to coherently think through what a curriculum would be like since everyone has their own concepts they're struggling with.
I've always wanted to learn how to program since high school (currently a senior) but I never had the time nor drive due to how overwhelmingly abundant resources are that I couldn't find a much concise curriculum that could allow me to learn bit by bit But upon stumbling your video and seeing how organized and direct the learning path is gave me the courage to push forward towards my dream of being a software developer (or web developer haha I still have yet to decide what specific profession I want) I'm going to be updating my journey starting next week and I hope that I can at least get to intermediary and build a portfolio for better opportunities both once I get to college and graduate, wish me luck 🍀
Hy dude, thanks for the content, I'm not used to commenting on videos but I just want to say that I will give a like in all of your content, your videos are really helpfull. Greetings from Brazil
Thank you very much i was skipping a lot of things then i got stuck now I'm getting back to really understand what I am doing although you are recommending a lot of hours but I will try my best to use this plan and balance it with school, Keep the good work man💙
I was kinda lost on where to start lol .. Thank you! And please make a curriculum for learning cyberscurity through programming python hacking software :)
Thanks for this i will surely start this 4 weeks circulum after my final Exams means i will start on 12th March surely and I will reply every day on this comment that what I have done today this is my pledge.
I started learning python intensively in Summer 2020 but got stuck at classes, can't tell why exactly. In school, I learned Java and if you know both Java and Python (at least the basics) you can imagine why one might struggle with classes in python when you learned it completely different in Java. But I'll figure it out...I just don't practise enough I think.
Thanks again for the effort you put in to make these videos! I'm looking into using Linux subsystem more specifically using vim for coding. Would you make a video on how to install the vim config file as well? Thanks!
Can you discuss topic of data science / machine learning /AI in terms of knowledge required for doing things like that? Except programming, something like math, university background etc
Where do I practice those concepts though? I am struggling to find solved questions that are balanced and take me from easy to hard within each conept. Anyone got a website with such exercises for the intermediate concepts?
Yes because the fundamentals of Python are still the same. If you want to be a skilled programmer that is not replaced easily within a couple of years, you need a strong foundation.
For creating several objects with similar attributes, it helps to limit repeating the same sets of variables, just with different values. For a stupid example, you can have a program that compares the surface areas of two cuboids. You could have variables height1, length1, width1, area1, height2, length2, width2, area2 or just make a Cuboid class with attributes width, length, height and method GetArea. In a small scale, it might even be overcomplication, but in larger programs, where you'd have to have dozens of various shapes and blocks, the first way would quickly become tedious. And then someone asks you to modify the program to compare surface area and volume 56 cuboids and then compare the volume of the largest one with the volume of the largest out of 54 cones. With classes it gets much clearer, more flexible and scalable (although in this particular case a couple of functions would be enough).
IF WE FOLLOW THE SAME CURRICULUM,, AT THE END CAN WE BE ABLE TO GET A REMOTE JOB AS A PYTHON DEVELOPER. I REALLY NEED A JOB. I HAVE LEARNT 70% off TOPICS THAT HE MENTIONED IN THIS VIDEO.
@@marshallhickey3746 yeah but youtube isn't stupid. Tried myself it doesnt count, youd have to make new Account all the time or something for it to work

Hey there, Is this roadmap still relevant 2 years later considering the AI and chant gpt?
Yes because the fundamentals of Python are still the same. If you want to be a skilled programmer that is not replaced easily within a couple of years, you need a strong foundation.
1 question. What ide/text editor you are using?
I have been doing python for over a year now and am already into Machine Learning I have never learned how to use classes. What are they usefull for?
