Maybe your water system on the cotton picker is air-locked. Drain all water from the system and re-fill, leave radiator cap off and squeeze radiator hoses to expel all that air. That might help.
Use one of those infrared digital temp sensors to check the temperature of the top and bottom radiator hose. That will tell you if your radiator is working properly. Those little infrared things are great to diagnose many temperature problems. It is posssible that your water pump is going out too.
Daniel that is so great that you take time for your family! I think your Dad took a trip a couple of months ago. That says a lot. Don’t let farming rule your life. You have to enjoy life and smell the roses!
The vacuum relief valve inside the radiator cap is bad or plugged and won't allow air in when the system is cooling off. Replace it. That should solve the hose flattening problem. It may even help the overheating problem. If that doesn't fix the overheating problem, the next thing I'd do is a coolant flush and change the thermostats. Next after that, maybe consider pulling and looking at or replacing the water pump.
Hi Daniel, If engine still running hot, you could try turning the cab heater to full power. I admit it will "slightly" uncomfortable for operator, but needs must. Best Wishes

On your intake cooling hose it should a round metal spring inside the hose which prevents suction flattening of the hose. Do not lessen rad. Cap as it will not allow proper pressure in system to prevent boiling. If system doesn't get to 12-13 lbs you run the risk of coolant boiling on the base of cylinder walls which will cause micro bursts on cylinder similar to hydraulic cavitation and the water side of cylinders will end up with tiny holes that will eventually will allow cylinder pressure to bleed thru and there goes the engine. Catastrophic failure. Ps. Also check thermostats some of the engines have 2 and there is a possibility 1 or both may not be opening at the proper temp.
change the engines thermostat. it sounds like the valve is not opening and the line is getting vacuum crunched by the water pump trying to suck water where there is none.
Daniel, just my opinion on running hot issue. I recommend changing thermostat , flush radiator and pressure washing radiator. Best for luck to you. Enjoy your videos.
Vote 2 on radiator cap. Glad you back. Missed you Big compressor like jack hammers use be great to blow off picker and combine. Enjoyed Do y’all haul bales to gin? That will be work too. Hope it’s done before field gets muddy
Good morning Granny. Daniel could it have something to do with that roll of wrap since you had no problem after you changed the roll of wrap? Keep making those memories with T.
I really enjoy this channel and the bug on the widow and the look you had staring at just cracked me up, great video you guys all stay safe during harvest and Thank you for all you do, God Bless
Curious as to why you don’t put a bale spear on the three point of the tractor and a loader on the tractor and double the retrieval rate. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Granny, did ya get any of that rain today the 12th? We did over here to the east. Thanks Daniel for sharing how you load the wrap... I just love technology Love & Peace
Those baler machines are soooo much more efficient then the old basket machines. No boll buggie, no builder. Although we have CS690’s and are getting 12 rows at a time. The efficiency outweighs the costs in the long run. If you have the acres to justify it.
Change your thermostat are it’s the water pump. JD is bad about that. Get you a Red picker. lol. Beautiful cotton crop. You need to give your dad a camera so we can see him harvesting the soybeans and watching that nice Red machine cutting soybeans!!! Good luck and be safe!! From La. 😁😎🙋🏼♂️👍
Glad everyone enjoyed Disney because when you get the bill next month for the trip you might have seconds thoughts and probably find another less expensive place. Enjoy the videos.
Generally speaking what is your rotation of corn, soybeans, cotton and wheat? Do you rotate yearly or is some planted on fields which grew them the previous season?
Really enjoyed this video. How long after you spray the cotton before you can harvest? Drove thru the Boot Heel of Missouri yesterday. Lots defoliated but didn’t see any pickers running.
Could you explain what is crashing cotton prices is there something in the world going on, I mean it’s crazy in the spring and early summer cotton was around 1.20 now low 80 help me out
Hello Daniel, why don’t you allow some of your other workers to run the cotton picker and the combine. Why do you bring Phillp in to run the cotton picker when you have other workers who can?
I've definitely had that problem with the radiator cap! Agree with thermostat next, if it don't fix it, you aren't out much and you're good to go for a while. If not, probably water pump going.
From experience, wearing that mask when power blowing dust of any kind will keep some really bad stuff from entering your lungs. When younger, it really does not seem to have a big impact but when you age then the accumulated material in your lungs are more likely to cause problems.- thanks for sharing.
NOT able to unload the bales, Please check the electromagnetic valves of Y394, Y374, Y376 or pressure sensor X216.

Just a wonderful channel, thank you for all the hard work making it happen 👍🏾😀🚜
Very interesting...see you again...picking soy beans and corn here in Iowa !

check the temperature of the hoses, there may be air bubbles in the cooling system, or the thermostat is not working properly.
never knew how complex a cotton picker was until i subscribed to your channel great videos thank you
Always a pleasure when it’s a new film from Alabama.😊👍

Many years ago, radiator hoses had springs on the inside to prevent them from collapsing.

Might try it thanks 👍😁
Good morning Granny!! Happy you made some good memories with T. Great Video. Miss seeing Dad.
Glad to see another video backup! Keep em coming!
You betcha, thanks for watching 👍😁
Thanks Daniel great video hope you get it figured out. Hi Granny have a Blessed day 🌻🌻.
I bought a 165 CFM air compressor that really is used a lot on cotton pickers, combines, peanut pickers and cleaning off mower decks
That would be nice, thanks for watching 👍😁

Check the fan belt on the picker. There are a few videos out there about how the belts get worn, slip, ect.
Will do, thanks for watching 👍😁
change the engines thermostat. it sounds like the valve is not opening and the line is getting vacuum crunched by the water pump trying to suck water where there is none.
Greeat coverage already subbed good day! What happens to the cotton that's not picked by the machine?
New radiator cap will fix your cooling issue.
Daniel, just my opinion on running hot issue. I recommend changing thermostat , flush radiator and pressure washing radiator. Best for luck to you. Enjoy your videos.
Good morning Granny, Dan, Daniel and all of Triple R Farms, glad yall had a good time at Disneyland
How much does a module of cotton weigh?
Vote 2 on radiator cap. Glad you back. Missed you Big compressor like jack hammers use be great to blow off picker and combine. Enjoyed
Do y’all haul bales to gin? That will be work too. Hope it’s done before field gets muddy
Check with deere that cooling system may be a pressure filled or vacuum filled system
Why do you have to defoliate the field after you pick the cotton?
Should the radiator hose have a spring inside to keep it from collapsing?
Your problem could be your thermostat. I would swap it out or use a heat temp gun.
Gracias también a los subtítulos automáticos puedo saber cómo solucionas todos las averías que te surgen muchas gracias Daniel
Thanks for watching 👍😁
You are the drone master! Hi Granny!!👋
Awesome, thanks for watching 👍😁

Curious as to why you don’t put a bale spear on the three point of the tractor and a loader on the tractor and double the retrieval rate. Thanks for sharing.
👍
Is it. Possible to remove 100% of the cotton as you harvest?
Great thanks
Looks like a busy time of year
Have the radiator cap checked.

How much those bales weigh??
Probably your thermostat is sticking. If it’s easy to get to id change it out.
Yep, thanks for watching 👍😁

Have you ever mixed in some video of when a crop was planted and during the growing season to harvest?
Good video Daniel I love the cotton videos. Good morning Granny
I don’t know anything about ag equipment but a long time ago a collapsed radiator hose on a car meant it needed to be replaced.
Yep, thanks for watching 👍😁

Being a non cotton farmer what do you do with the stalk after picking? Tillage?and how often is the rotation for cotton.
Generally speaking what is your rotation of corn, soybeans, cotton and wheat? Do you rotate yearly or is some planted on fields which grew them the previous season?
Great video!!! Really enjoyed it!
Keep an eye on coolant level . Check the water pump.
Loved the video. Hope you find out the reasons for your problems. God Bless
Any bales get stolen?
Was that a boll weevil on your glass?
No a big stink bug, thanks for watching 👍😁
How much do ya get out of a Cotton Module or bale? I’m sure it’s by Weight but a Average?
Daniel, what was your final average yield on 2022 cotton?
Thermostat sticking? Water pump going out?
Really enjoyed this video. How long after you spray the cotton before you can harvest? Drove thru the Boot Heel of Missouri yesterday. Lots defoliated but didn’t see any pickers running.
How many bales per acre is the cotton making?
Little under 3 bales right now, thanks for watching 👍😁
Awesome yield !
Was it maybe the wrap for some crazy reason??
Isn’t the radiator cap supposed to vent?
Ck your Thermostat sounds like it hanging up not opening cmpletely
How do you get paid for your bales of cotton??
Is by the ton or so much per bale?
Pick it clean ,looks good keep it going love video. Thanks
Approximately how many lbs per bale?
Cotton looks great good morning from south Carolina
Be Safe 😊
Sounds like you need a new radiator cap , they are supposed to vent
How many modules can you make on a real good day?
Great video good to see y'all
It's the radiator cap. We've been there before.
Daniel who is Phillip? Any relation?
Could you explain what is crashing cotton prices is there something in the world going on, I mean it’s crazy in the spring and early summer cotton was around 1.20 now low 80 help me out

Hello Daniel, why don’t you allow some of your other workers to run the cotton picker and the combine. Why do you bring Phillp in to run the cotton picker when you have other workers who can?
Great content, may God bless
Thanks for watching 👍😁
We use backpack blowers.
Sounds like the water pump on the picker is worn out.
I have had the inside of a radiators hose collapse And the outside looked fine
Really, thanks for watching 👍😁
I’d start with a new radiator cap and then thermostat.
I've definitely had that problem with the radiator cap! Agree with thermostat next, if it don't fix it, you aren't out much and you're good to go for a while. If not, probably water pump going.
Clean picking 😊
Ya'll got that picker set up right! Doing a good job!
try a new radiator cap
Good Morning
I wonder if the ejection issue has to do with the one roll of yellow plastic wrap that was causing a issue. Glad it straightened out
Don’t thinks so, but great question, thanks for watching 👍😁
Cotton, the fabric of our lives.
Yes sir, thanks for watching 👍😁
A lot of money laying there lined up in that dirt road! lol
How much does the modular weigh on the average?
It changes but maybe 5,200lbs, thanks for watching 👍😁
Radiator core clogged, need it taken off and cleaned internally
Good morning

wonder if the rad hose failed on the inside.seen it before .just a dumb thought from a dumby
Could be, thanks for watching 👍😁
Just think not long ago let’s say 75-100 years ago we used to pick that cotton by hand.
