My Aldi only had DK, Aran and Chunky. No cakes or yarn bowls. I got 4 of the orange that you didn't pick, 4 of the Clay, 4 of the Rust to make a corner to corner blanket and just 1 ball each of the lime green and the lemon just to add to my stash!!! I bought a ball each of the light blue and the navy for my friend who had a stroke and she knits just for therapy.
Aw amazing! I really haven’t seen too many yarn bowls, so hoping the stock is late perhaps? Debating going to Aldi later to see if I can find it 🩷 your haul sounds lovely! X
It really varies store to store. The baby yarn is in some but not others, I found a few rainbow cakes at one but not any others. I saw someone use a teapot instead of a bowl and I'm going to give that a go.
The yarn event is very hit and miss. Their site says that the cakes are delayed and that availability is to be confirmed but some stores clearly have it in stock. I managed to get chunky and dk but the hunt is still on for the rainbow cakes. Fingers crossed.
I'm going to keep calling in, hopefully it will eventually turn up. If there's a shortfall in the quantities ordered perhaps the balance will arrive at a later date. Good luck with your search as that's such a great price for the bowl.
No yarn bowls or knitting holders in my store, but plenty of chunky weight; my store only just received their Aran, dk, and rainbow today, but none of the other weights according my dad. Due to my disabilities I only loom knit and French knit (as well as cross stitch), so looking at needles/hooks was non-applicable for me.

Ive knit several items with their wool, and it has bobbled and looks tatty only after a few wears. Wont buy again, no matter how cheap, not fit for purpose.

Yeah I think you are right, we have a few Aldi near me, and I have been to 3 stores now and they all have different items! Teapot, great idea 💡

Ah this is interesting, I wonder if yarn bowls are still to come. I did see on their website there was delays but wasn’t sure how accurate that was 🥰
