@@hiduproh1385 i completely agree, i don't hate her EAH desing, but MH is way cuter, the shorter and curlier hair fits her better so munch more than the EAH hair. I wish she had more black in the EAH desing too.
Most impressive things with the designs are how they are so busy and detailed but never distracting. When watching they are easily distinguishable and you usually get a good idea of their character but don’t notice the individual aspects until you pause when it doesn’t matter that you’re distracted and then can notice how much went into the designs
9:00 honestly, I think it kind of works. It’s implied through her design that her natural hair color is brown (since that’s the color of her eyebrows) and I feel like it compliments her boots and her belts nicely enough.
don't forget that for true hearts day, as they're showing everyone getting ready, cedar is LITERALLY SANDING her face!!! i forgot she was made of wood and wondered if she was just putting on powder but in a recent rewatch, i realized shes literally using sandpaper on her face and that's why cerise sneezes from it-
I always thought she wore that armor to protect herself from dragon fire. Considering how her family thought she'd be in a tower protected by a dragon, when she got older.
12:55 Honestly, I wish they had kept Darings' fur. It would have better foreshadow his destiny as the beast from beauty and the beast. because I feel like in the show, it weirdly came out of nowhere. (at least as far as i can remember. It's been a while since i've watched it)
Part 2: Humphrey, Faybelle, Rosabella, Crystal, Ginger, Melody, Justine, Ramona, MeeShell, Farrah, Nina Thumbell, and Jillian Beanstalk. I wish there were more boys since the last chapter jam-packed a lot of newer girls.
Something I’m curious about is how you would compare the Decedents designs to these characters. Yeah I guess those designs were meant to evoke the specific Disney designs, but then that kind of slaps in the face of the whole “you’re not your parents” idea, an idea I think Ever After High did really well by comparison
Some of my favorite character designs are Maddie, Cupid, Kitty, Lizzie, Briar, Darling, Duchess, Raven, and The Evil Queen. I love Maddie and Kitty's hair and hats, Lizzie and Raven for their color scheme, Darling and Duchess because I was into historical clothings at the time and their hair is very Rococo inspired, Briar and Cupid because I'm a sucker for pink. The Evil Queen has one of my favorite designs, she's perfection for me. Her gown, her headress, her armor in the battle scenes. She also has a version with her hair down, and I would've love to see that.
I know they wanted to go with the more classic dorky look for dexter but it would have been cool if he had a similar white blonde hair color to darling, which also would have made him look a little bit more like daring as well
I would love love love love to see what you think of the Way Too Wonderland outfits because I really loved how they put a wonderland sort of spin on the non-wonderland characters, like adding different colors and enlarging the accessories and generally creating that out of this world crazy vibe
17:45 Just now realizing the similarities between my OC, Elroy Prince, and Hunter. It feels like Critter is critiquing my OC's design just as much as Hunter's. Judging by Hunter's placement in the rankings, my OC probably won't bode well in the challenge. ... Or it's all in my head, my previous self-critiques of the design bubbling back up to the surface. Well, I'm just glad I finished before the deadline. Hope everyone has a nice day.
So I had a bunch of ever after high dolls (because my catholic mother preferred them to monster high) and I have a couple notes about the characters. My sister and I were obsessed with Cerise because we thought her backstory was cool, so our mom bought us the doll for christmas. Her regular doll has normal doll ears. We were very upset. Also, Hunter was the only boy that we had, and I was obsessed with the texture of the shaved side of his head because they flocked it and I had never felt that before. My lil autistic heart fell in love with Hunter the character because I liked the texture of the doll's head.
Real nice choices and I like how you go through explaining what you like, but also what could be done better for the designs. I think Briar, Apple, and Raven generally stand out a bit more to me when I think of the show for design and characters. Cerise is also one of my favorites with her simple and iconic design and usually who I think of when representing the show for its theme about Fairy Tales.
right? i feel like she shouldve been in perfection bc her design and colors r so gorgeous, but thats probably me just being biased because she my ultimate fav 😭
9:14 you can see some small error towards Cerise, which I kinda wish her wolf ears grew close to her face, but she really has a cool concept characteristics.
I think you did an excellent job, but it’s a crime that you forgot about Faybelle! She just screams villain to me, but not necessarily dark fairy (who I believe is Maleficent) as Maleficent’s colour palette is more green and purple while Faybelle is very turquoise/blue.
I’m so excited for this video! I tried to do a character ranking with my friend but he didn’t like any of the designs that much (like I understand not liking some but he didn’t like any) and so it was fun but not as fun because there were some designs I LOVE and thought were pretty great but he thought it was all too intricate and i just don’t think the very very detailed designs are his cup of tea. He also doesn’t love Genshin designs so I think that checks out. That’s his opinion and his style and of course I respect that but I’m excited to see a review with someone who does like some of the designs and will explain choices 😊 (I also know that you won’t like all of them either but it won’t be a general design dislike but particular outfits)
Tbh I’m kinda shocked you had chase redford but not faybell, I just remember her more idk. The designs are one of my all time favorite aspects of ever after high, they’re just so fun. I’m so glad someone also appreciates cerise and Lizzie’s designs as much as I do they’re just stunning. I do find it funny how like most of the wonderland characters are put in really great
Well the art design of the characters were REALLY for the DOLLS … while the show animators were given license by Mattel to change the design a bit… I believe the animators once mentioned that Apple and Raven, as main doll characters had to have their outfits most faithfully to their doll versions and if you look back and compare to a dozen outfits designed for Apple and Raven in the show they all were very much like their doll counterparts … it was a good show but unfortunately Mattel canceled the show right after it’s last doll character introduction and not much longer after the dolls were canceled as well, sadly
all of the wonderland characters in my opinion have the best costume designs. They are just so unique and creative, and I think alistor is one of the best boy character designs
Something I like about Cedar Wood's design is that she actually has puppet joints like her father Pinocchio and the wood designs on her arms to her hands and legs. Also I agree about the nose, because of Pinocchio's nose growing whenever he lies, and the piercing I would give to her is the pointy one like the punk-rock design to just remind of how pointy her nose would be if her nose grows whenever she lie like her father. Also talk about her heels' soles?! IT'S AN ACORN LIKE SCALE DESIGN! Would love it too if the tip of her nose is a little bit pointy.
great video! i'd love to see you talk about the spring unsprung or way too wonderland outfits! a bunch of them are really cool, and i'd like to hear your thoughts on them :D
"I don't know what to do for the shoes." that's the exact problem I trend to have when designing characters which is probably why the main character of my story doesn't wear shoes. ( well that is not the only reason there an actual story reason for it ) but my lack of shoe game probably contributes to that issue. To me Blondie registers more like the daughter of Alice then Alister does as her son. I brought a blondie doll all so I could redress her as hinaichigo from RozenMaiden because I had a outfit of her laying around. Rapunzel is german for lamb lettuce so I wish the O'Hair had more of a vegetable theme to their design. In the original fairytale when Rapunzel's mother was pregnant with her she had a lot of vegetable cravings so they could have used that as a factor when designing them to make them more interesting compared to the more floral themed princesses. Also it would have been neat that since the fairytale is Germanic German fashion could have played into the design for me. Again I think it would have helped their designs if they did this. Cinderella is a French fairytale so just like how Rapunzel is German they could have incorporated some French elements into Ashlynn design to improve it. For hopper I would have given his design a pond motif with varying shades of green, blue, and possibly a little bit of pink. I feel like Hunter design maybe should have been Camo or had Camo elements or simply could have leaned into him being a hunter a lot more. Give him a more athletics design.
okay, when i was little my favorite design was Cerise Hood because of the tartan/checked pattern on her shirt and her awesome boots. now my favorite is tied between Dexter Charming and Allister. Allister: because i am a sucker for the blue clock design due to my love of Doctor Who. Dexter: because it turns out i'm transmasc and what i thought was Childhood Crush vibes were actually Man, I Wish I Was Him vibes
**SPOILER** gurl! i think you gotta dock down alister, bunny girl, daring and dexter from really great they do not serve the same as raven, maddie and courtney in my opinion otherwise i was super pumped about the lizzie rating 😎😎 i freak out over all of her outfits, moments and everything and i love her character to bits ❤️
Cerise looks like she’s made of wood in the cartoon, too. The texture is there, there are screws in her elbows, the cricket is there, heck, even her joints look like those of a puppet. It’s all the same.
THE JUDGMENTAL CRITTER... I hope you read this comment as I do not want the disinformation featured in this video to spread. *The artwork of characters you featured in this video (and other video(s) considering this is a part 1) is not concept art.* Based on my knowledge of the EAH not only as a cartoon seires but also as a brand, I can confidently say that all the "concept art" you have featured in this video is actually 1)official character renditions in one of the few art styles E.A.H. team has featured via products, promotional material and EAH's web services/games (One of the most prominent palces to find this type of art is on the back of the dolls' boxes) and 2) fan art that was made witht he effort to emulate the orginal offical art style ( I am specifically refering to Hopper Croakington II artwork here. I 100% remember it being a fan work I have seen either on Tumblr or Instagram. There may have been more fan art in this video I have not noticed but I doubt it). NOW, THERE IS OFFICIAL CONCEPT ART ON THE WEB AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING, but not a whole lot of it (with some images being poor quality in oreder to avoid any reprecutions from Mattel). Here is the link to an image from PInterest that features what is presumably concept art for 4 orginal characters (Briar, Raven Maddie and Apple): ru.pinterest.com/pin/298222806546201062/ In addition, here is the link to another image on Pinterest (with the artist's link) that features fanart and official concept art for C.A.Cupid's orginal doll design from the Birthday Ball doll line: pl.pinterest.com/pin/763571311817583007/ I also need to mention the following: 1) The available concept art is most likely offical doll designs (based on most of them looking similar to Birthday Ball doll design in terms of execution). 2) It is unknown to me what material (concept art, doll designs or somethign else) has been sent out to the animation company to work with when it comes to creating character models for the show. Maybe show designs were done in a collaborative effort with Mattel. However, they were for sure created independantly from the official character art (the one you refered to as "concept art" in this video). EAH doll designs tended to be more detailed comapred to the official art because the latter was often made based on the final products (in this case dolls), which underwent budget cuts and design changes. That is why, for example, Darling Charming has her official artwork look so different when comapred to the show design. It was based on the doll, not the cocnept art/doll design (from what I am aware of). 4) Show designs may include some artistic liberty, deviating from doll designs/concept art. Why do I say that? Well, there are also character spread sheets and show assets available on the web, among which I found a rendition of "Daughter of Rapunzel" that looks nothing like Holly or Poppy O'Hair. It is unknown if the character design in question was made based on anything (and during what time it was made) but it is sure very differnet from what we got and is said to be a "test design". 5) There are likely a lot of concept artworks/character designs that will never see the light of day. For isntance, there is the official EAH stop-motion short that looks nothing like what we have seen after the official EAH launch back in 2013 (In it the characters also look way different from what we are used to. It truly makes you wonder what EAH was originally planned to look like and what alternative looks were designed for the characters). Lastly, I just wnat to say that I hope this did not sound rude. If it did, I apologise cause I did not intend for it to be that way. Hope this information was found useful as well) P.S. I am not a native english speaker so excuse me for any mistakes in this comment.
I also have to mention an interesting point about official EAH art by using Kitty Cheshire as an example: while official art tends to use final dolls as refrences, there may be some changes during last production stages that lead to dolls looking slightly different even comapred to their official art. Kitty Cheshire is a perfect example of this. Her "core series" doll (the one that wear the outfit Kitty most of the time has in the show) is missing her arm warmers, all while the the box art features them as part of the look (which means they were meant to be included). The doll also wears a black ring, but the artwork on the box features the ring in grey. (Even more interesting is that a leaked doll design for Kitty has purple skintone and some othere differences, when compared to her look in the show. The EAH character design process is truly somewhat disjointed between Mattel and Guru Productions) There were also a lot of doll re-releases when it comes to "core series" so in some cases it is unfair to compare the dolls to the art. For isntance, only one wave of these dolls featured Apple wearing her black stockings (which I find shameful to be the case cause they add so much to the look).
For sparrow, I always wondered if he had more moments of being kind of like Robin Hood as a hero? Did he ever stood up for someone unjustly accused of a crime? Does he ever give food to those hungry? Maybe he does charity work despite acting the way he does?
My top 5 picks would be Madeline ,Lizzie ,Raven ,Briar and Apple I love Cupid but I wish she has a different haircut ; I find Duchess and Kitty to look kinda similar and I love their color palette Cerise is nice but I think I like Ramona better I sadly don't find any of the boys designs nearly as interesting or memorable
Late to this video, cupids design was so much more interesting in monster high. The bone wings, the heart lipstick, the colours. I wish they kept some one the spooky to show that she's not from eah in the first place. Woulda melded the two franchises together well
This was really fun! Would love to see what characters you do next! I almost think the spin-off outfits should be tackled on there ownLike rank them or some of them on their own list. Hm but I guess it’s cool to compare with characters original outfits too? It’s hard to say. Either way excited to see those hopefully too
I think the only design I never really liked was briars, I think it’s really pretty I just never saw her as sleeping beauty’s daughter! I would assume somebody else before sleeping beauty in all honesty 😅
You know, I think Daring having Red apple gems in his crown would indicate he’s Snow White Prince, in comparison to Dexter, who has no gems and no story. Then maybe Daring will change the apples to roses because he became Rosabella’s Prince.👑🍎🥀🌹
17:45 for me personally, I don’t really like Hunter’s design because he literally just looks like a regular teen boy. In that, if the show did not tell me he was the son of a fairytale character, I would just assume he’s some random dude who isn’t affiliated with any fairytale characters.
I just want to say that as someone who knows literally nothing about this show or the toys every design you said "you don't even need to know who this is supposed to be because the design is so obvious" I had literally no idea what they were until you said it. I thought goldilocks was another alice in wonder lands. I thought the swan princess was cruella. And then you said "idk if I'd immediately guess repunzel" and that was the only one I immediately recognized.
This is absolutely true! While the characters do fit their stories (grim fairytales) without their names and context, many are not guess-able. Most people will notice features they saw in Disneys story adaptations even if these stories have nothing to do with Disney!
what i find intresting in briars out fit is that there are the throny vines from a rose bush. its hinting at how later she is going to feel traped and fully relize her destiny as the next sleeping beauty. the dress is forshadowing her feeling later in the show. it feels at lest to me that the dress is a little tight around her, agin forshadowing her feelings late in the show. and the dress is similar to ravens dress which is inportant beaucse she is going to rebel aganst her destiny and have that argument with apple.
The animation is based off of prototype dolls, and the "concept" art is based off of finalized production dolls. That's why many of them later on starting having many difference since in toy production, mattel started cutting out many of the details to save money.
I like how Dexter’s look reflects “a nerd that’s casual, but still kind of cool”. While Daring is just your average, suave, self-absorbed jock. Though that cliche is pretty much how Daring seems initially. That is an interesting aspect to the show, one of them, that the characters aren’t quite what your thinking. Daughter of Red Riding Hood? Half wolf, but not as outgoing as you’d think. Daughter of the Mad Hatter? Crazy, yes, but can be empathetic, and sensible enough to voice concern when the world is threatened, like when reality ebbed away in Spring Unsprung. The fact that Raven wants to be good and not a villain, implies her dad, the Good King, rubbed off on her. I also like how, it’s split up between Royals-students that wish to follow in their parents’ footsteps, and Rebels-those who wish to write their own story. Rather than heroes vs villains.
I absolutely ADORE Courtley! One thing that I think made her 100x better that I was hoping you'd mention was how her mouth is longer and more prominent than the other characters. It makes her more expressive, and I think her facial design wouldn't work as well if she had the same mouth as the other girls
One thing I love about Cerise's design is her silver accesories in all of her outfits. Werewolves' biggest weakness is silver, and her having it in all her clothes can be read as her trying to hide her wolf heritage (and most likely harming herself in the process cause of the silver), it's such a very small yet cool detail in her design

I do like darling thought. I like armored princesses aesthetics. it reminds me of saber from fate.
9:00 honestly, I think it kind of works. It’s implied through her design that her natural hair color is brown (since that’s the color of her eyebrows) and I feel like it compliments her boots and her belts nicely enough.
don't forget that for true hearts day, as they're showing everyone getting ready, cedar is LITERALLY SANDING her face!!! i forgot she was made of wood and wondered if she was just putting on powder but in a recent rewatch, i realized shes literally using sandpaper on her face and that's why cerise sneezes from it-
I swear, the little details of this show man, you can tell it was made with love, heartbroken it never got a conclusion 😢
@@Dani_1012I don’t think we’ll ever see another cartoon like this for kids with so much thought and time and effort put into it 😢
Studying isn't as important than watching an EAH outfit ranking
the way i have an exam in two days and im also watching this instead of studying

AYO TF2 MENTIONED
I always thought she wore that armor to protect herself from dragon fire. Considering how her family thought she'd be in a tower protected by a dragon, when she got older.
12:55 Honestly, I wish they had kept Darings' fur. It would have better foreshadow his destiny as the beast from beauty and the beast. because I feel like in the show, it weirdly came out of nowhere. (at least as far as i can remember. It's been a while since i've watched it)
Redesigning ever after high characters is my favorite hobby. It’s so fun to take into account who they are. And Apple’s design is MY FAVORITE
Damn Ever After High DOES have amazing shoes. I always skimp out on the shoes, I should definitely look for inspiration there
Part 2: Humphrey, Faybelle, Rosabella, Crystal, Ginger, Melody, Justine, Ramona, MeeShell, Farrah, Nina Thumbell, and Jillian Beanstalk.
One of the reasons I love the show more than MH is how many male characters they have, all of whom have unique looks, not a uniform or basic design.
Oh my god, the idea of Cedar with a septum
Lizzie’s design has my entire heart
The Dragon Games outfits. All of them. I love them so much

Just now realizing the similarities between my OC, Elroy Prince, and Hunter.
Ashlyn never gave me Cinderella vibes but I do love how her crown is two birds like the birds that eat the step sisters eyes in the grim story
I have never watched 'Ever After High' but you really showed me a lot of awesome designs here. Stirs my creative juices something fierce. :D
You and Negative Legend are carrying the fandom lmao
Negative Legend's content is such an inspiration to me!
@@thejudgmentalcritter6584 hell yeahhhh!
Cerise is also one of my favorites with her simple and iconic design and usually who I think of when representing the show for its theme about Fairy Tales.
darling has that armor bc she’s the daughter of prince charming like her brothers😭
right? i feel like she shouldve been in perfection bc her design and colors r so gorgeous, but thats probably me just being biased because she my ultimate fav 😭
I didn't realize there was more episode than the ones on Netflix. Kinda cool I now get to watch more content online. :)
I loved this ranking. I would love to see you redesign the characters you didn't love design wise and see your take on it
God. The idea that chase is built like the suit. Fucking hilarious idea, the one guy who is so off model compared to everyone else.
Hopefully part 2 comes out soon, I love hearing your opinions on their outfits
9:14 you can see some small error towards Cerise, which I kinda wish her wolf ears grew close to her face, but she really has a cool concept characteristics.
I think you did an excellent job, but it’s a crime that you forgot about Faybelle! She just screams villain to me, but not necessarily dark fairy (who I believe is Maleficent) as Maleficent’s colour palette is more green and purple while Faybelle is very turquoise/blue.
omg cinderella… cinder… ashlynn… ash… Why did it take me this long to realize that?
Note to self, redesign rwby characters to look like ever after high characters
Sparrow getting the recognize he deserves. He was my favorite male design when U first watched the show. It stands out a lot
SO happy to see lizzie in the perfect tier, as she's my favorite character
I do find it funny how like most of the wonderland characters are put in really great
It's because Faybelle gets a lot more attention and screen time in the 3rd season, but I haven't reviewed that season yet! :)
@@thejudgmentalcritter6584 ahhhh ok!
Lilly Bo Peep is so cute fr😭😭 one of my faves especially during thronecoming
Well the art design of the characters were REALLY for the DOLLS … while the show animators were given license by Mattel to change the design a bit… I believe the animators once mentioned that Apple and Raven, as main doll characters had to have their outfits most faithfully to their doll versions and if you look back and compare to a dozen outfits designed for Apple and Raven in the show they all were very much like their doll counterparts … it was a good show but unfortunately Mattel canceled the show right after it’s last doll character introduction and not much longer after the dolls were canceled as well, sadly
17:50 "no one ever liked this hairstyle"
......remembers specifically got my hair cut like his when i got him cuz i loved it so much👀
I cannot wait till the next part! Ever after high and monster high always had top tier designs!
i think my favorite thing about cupid was her wings! they form a heart which i thought was kinda creative
just binged ur entire EAH playlist. feeling good!
YOU ARE SO RIGHT FOR PUTTING SPARROW IN PERFECTION. MY BOY DESERVES CREDIT WHERE CREDIT'S DUE
all of the wonderland characters in my opinion have the best costume designs.
"I don't know what to do for the shoes."
that's the exact problem I trend to have when designing characters which is probably why the main character of my story doesn't wear shoes.
I for some reason just love Fae Bell's outfits and I don't know why. She's just such a cute interpretation of the dark fairy
**SPOILER**
gurl! i think you gotta dock down alister, bunny girl, daring and dexter from really great
they do not serve the same as raven, maddie and courtney in my opinion
otherwise i was super pumped about the lizzie rating 😎😎 i freak out over all of her outfits, moments and everything and i love her character to bits ❤️
I would have love to hear your thoughts on Romana Badwolf design as she never get a doll which is kinda sad as her design in the show is amazing
Duchess Swan is by far the prettiest in my opinion she deserves to be in the top too
"No-one has ever liked hunter's haircut"
😢 me when I had that haircut for years and loved it 😂😂😂
I love Raven, Maddie, Briar, Lizzie, Kitty, and Cerise and their outfits
Cerise looks like she’s made of wood in the cartoon, too. The texture is there, there are screws in her elbows, the cricket is there, heck, even her joints look like those of a puppet. It’s all the same.
i would love you to cover mira shards!! great video as always 🩷
THE JUDGMENTAL CRITTER... I hope you read this comment as I do not want the disinformation featured in this video to spread.
*The artwork of characters you featured in this video (and other video(s) considering this is a part 1) is not concept art.*
Based on my knowledge of the EAH not only as a cartoon seires but also as a brand, I can confidently say that all the "concept art" you have featured in this video is actually 1)official character renditions in one of the few art styles E.A.H. team has featured via products, promotional material and EAH's web services/games (One of the most prominent palces to find this type of art is on the back of the dolls' boxes) and 2) fan art that was made witht he effort to emulate the orginal offical art style ( I am specifically refering to Hopper Croakington II artwork here.
Here is the link to an image from PInterest that features what is presumably concept art for 4 orginal characters (Briar, Raven Maddie and Apple): ru.pinterest.com/pin/298222806546201062/
In addition, here is the link to another image on Pinterest (with the artist's link) that features fanart and official concept art for C.A.Cupid's orginal doll design from the Birthday Ball doll line:
pl.pinterest.com/pin/763571311817583007/
I also need to mention the following:
1) The available concept art is most likely offical doll designs (based on most of them looking similar to Birthday Ball doll design in terms of execution).
Hope this information was found useful as well)
The EAH character design process is truly somewhat disjointed between Mattel and Guru Productions)
There were also a lot of doll re-releases when it comes to "core series" so in some cases it is unfair to compare the dolls to the art. For isntance, only one wave of these dolls featured Apple wearing her black stockings (which I find shameful to be the case cause they add so much to the look).
Ngl I used Maddy’s Way Too Wonderland Design as inspiration at one point for Highschool Design lol
Raven Queen's design is perfection to me. She's a goth icon, like Alice (Alice: Madness Returns) and Skywarp (Transformers).
For sparrow, I always wondered if he had more moments of being kind of like Robin Hood as a hero? Did he ever stood up for someone unjustly accused of a crime? Does he ever give food to those hungry? Maybe he does charity work despite acting the way he does?
So this video did come into fruition, yes!! I needed this!
My top 5 picks would be Madeline ,Lizzie ,Raven ,Briar and Apple
I love Cupid but I wish she has a different haircut ;
I find Duchess and Kitty to look kinda similar and I love their color palette
Cerise is nice but I think I like Ramona better
I sadly don't find any of the boys designs nearly as interesting or memorable
Late to this video, cupids design was so much more interesting in monster high. The bone wings, the heart lipstick, the colours. I wish they kept some one the spooky to show that she's not from eah in the first place. Woulda melded the two franchises together well
This was really fun! Would love to see what characters you do next! I almost think the spin-off outfits should be tackled on there ownLike rank them or some of them on their own list. Hm but I guess it’s cool to compare with characters original outfits too? It’s hard to say. Either way excited to see those hopefully too
I loved cupids homecoming dress so much I got her doll. I also have the twins but I didn’t get to choose them but they are still pretty lol
14:36 Lol, I think I can trust your opinion on this matter. And not just because I like your taste generally.
I ADORE the character design in EAH! And just the art style in general really 😍
I definitely need for you to review/cover dragon from Ever after high 💜😱
I love these kinds of videos
I think the only design I never really liked was briars, I think it’s really pretty I just never saw her as sleeping beauty’s daughter! I would assume somebody else before sleeping beauty in all honesty 😅
I really like Maddie's design. It's so wonderful!
Ever after high designs are so beautiful and underrated omg
21:07 i like the fact her bandana thing is there instead of a crown because shes secretly the older twin but doesnt want to be
I just want to say that as someone who knows literally nothing about this show or the toys every design you said "you don't even need to know who this is supposed to be because the design is so obvious" I had literally no idea what they were until you said it.
Humphrey dumpty was my favorite boy! Love that egg head. I'd like to hear your thoughts on some of the Legacy Day outfits.
Can’t wait for part 2!
what i find intresting in briars out fit is that there are the throny vines from a rose bush. its hinting at how later she is going to feel traped and fully relize her destiny as the next sleeping beauty. the dress is forshadowing her feeling later in the show. it feels at lest to me that the dress is a little tight around her, agin forshadowing her feelings late in the show. and the dress is similar to ravens dress which is inportant beaucse she is going to rebel aganst her destiny and have that argument with apple.
When are you going to continue the eah review? I wanna see part two for this so bad
The animation is based off of prototype dolls, and the "concept" art is based off of finalized production dolls. That's why many of them later on starting having many difference since in toy production, mattel started cutting out many of the details to save money.
I might be late to the party but have you seen YRU making a line of Monster High shoes? I immediately thought of you when I saw them
That sounds AMAZING!
Rather than heroes vs villains.
to me personally i always assumed cupid’s wings never moved because they weren’t real and it’s just bones under there
Oh yeah in monster high she has bone wings
I absolutely ADORE Courtley! One thing that I think made her 100x better that I was hoping you'd mention was how her mouth is longer and more prominent than the other characters. It makes her more expressive, and I think her facial design wouldn't work as well if she had the same mouth as the other girls
