I was born and raised in the United States. I live in California.

Over 20 years.

I have a Master's degree in linguistics with an emphasis in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
-- What languages do you speak?
English is my native language. I've studied Spanish, Czech, French, a little German, and Portuguese. I speak Portuguese as my second language because my husband is from Brazil.

Concerning my 1st semester, I successfully got a score of 14.5 out of 20 in Paragraph Writing Module thanks to your videos on this great channel. For me, it's a big fulfillment since I didn't practice anything from the beginning of the year. Instead, I just focused on your explanation of punctuations & structure of sentences and paragraphs ONLY THROUGH LISTENING.
This semester, we focus on essays a lot, and we will have had exams by next month.
May Allah almighty help me to do it!

Do we need to write essays by hand?
My writing doodles are not readable even in my native language ^.^'
I teach in a college, and yes, sometimes students have to write essays in class by hand. Sometimes their handwriting is a little hard to read, but I get used to it!
Nowadays this is mostly for the professor to know that they are not cheating/using AI, but it is also common to write essays by hand for tests in classes like history. However, more and more students are able to use computers in class, and a lot of essays are written on a computer at home. :)

It's for intermediate and advanced learners. There are live lessons with me and 4 other amazing teachers 5 days a week!
