I love how you are with Ditto. I'm so glad he found you. A lot of feral cats (and other animals) are treated so awful by humans. You can see he is in love with you! I'm glad he had at least a little time with a truly good human before his time here was done. Bless you! ❤

I'm still dealing with ferals who want to stay out overnight. I'm now a senior with issues & I'm mad at them. I can't handle these situations so much any longer. Now, a new Tom cat arrived out of nowhere ... spraying everywhere & I'm done.
Don't worry I'm in the same sort of situation... Well I let this sweet feral,that over time I got him to let me pet him and pick him up. Well I live in Arizona and it gets so hot here and he can't stand the heat, plus I just noticed something very disturbing. He is deathly afraid to be around this area where he once loved!! He is a 1.5 yr old tom cat but has absolutely no interest in female cats, he doesn't spray either.. He is just the most adorable cats.he is such a gentleman.!! If I put down his food and my cats food at same time, he won't ever eat in front of her, and will even let her come over and eat his food..if I didn't stop her!! She is such a witch to him and he NEVER once has hissed or fought back!! So all day he hangs out.he gets fresh water, I feed him as much as he wants( he LOVES TUNA TOO) But around 930 10 at night he.wants out!! I usually open the door.amd.he will stand there scanning the area carefully,.. And what I think happened is he has matured enough now.the other tom cats were picking fights with him! He is not a fighter..he truly is a lover!! He runs over to this condo complex across the street and every morning. I walk over and find him and we all walk back to my place.My question is should I continue letting him leave at night?? I feel sometimes he.doesn't want to go but leaves anyways. I'm wondering if I should just make him stay inside?? I don't want him to hate me!!

I love what you do. You are a fantastic and kind lady. Please dont take what I`m going to mention as critisism but you should put the cat toilet far from their food because I noticed cat litter around their food plate which could end up on their food. Please dont misunderstand my comment. I dont mean it in a bad way. Pleae keep doning the good work that you do. Wishing you all a happy new year 2024.

Oh I have another question.. I want to take him to the vet.to.get shots and neutered but I'm afraid he will hate me after!! He never has let anyone but me pet him pick him up etc....What happened when u took urs in?
For all of my cats, I used the first trip to the vet as the transition to indoor life. They came back from the vet and became indoor cats. Ditto was the only one given a choice to go back outside because he was bonded with Hydrox.
Silicon brushes are preferred by my cats, I think Kong make them, they gently remove tons of hair.
Oh, then use the back of the brush to get pet hairs off clothing👍

Hydrox was an older feral cat when that video was filmed. She had no interest in becoming a house cat.
