I have literally never seen a cat that isn't beautiful. These breeds are beautiful, but so is every cat I look after at the shelter. Each one is a work of art.
Love the cat dad host in the bathrobe!
Yes!
If only they could bring this to Colorado someday. I'm a huge cat lover and have a cat of my own that's also my therapeutic cat that helps with my depression and other issues.
Love to go to cat shows. Went to the CFA International Cat Show when it came to Kansas City Missouri. Had a ball. Got my first Maine Coon through a breeder I met at my very first cat show. You can learn a lot about different breeds, meet really neat people, and shop for great cat toys for really good prices. Everyone should go to at least one - great experience. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you had a good time at the international cat show in Kansas City!
this video was sooooo amazing!!! thank you for taking the time to capture so many beautiful cats + interesting facts about them from the people who love them!
Glad you enjoyed it! :D
I don't know if she'll read this but the woman showing the Siberian was really well spoken and knowledgeable. It was very interesting to learn about that breed.
Yes she was! You can reach out to her if you have any questions. I added her Instagram in the description
@hanss.5291 Thank you for your kind words! I'm obviously passionate about sharing how amazing Siberians are. So grateful @TheCatButler stopped by to chat with Ima & I.
Какие красивые Сибирские коты.Тяжёлый костяк с набивной меховой шубкой.Замечательные кошки они свою любовь не раскидывают.Увереные в себе коты.
Thanks for sharing this! I hope to be able to attend a cat show one day. I loved hearing the stories of the cat owners. The Siberian breed is stunning! All the breeds are beautiful. Cats are the best. ❤
Glad you enjoy the video! Yeah the stories were awesome to hear!
Saw your haul I’m now watching a show about all different types of cats. I’m so jealous I want them all. Kiss Loki and Luna a lot they are so precious!!
So neat you brought the show to us! You featured a few breeds I had considered before coming back to the Siamese. If there were some Tonkinese available to meet and get to know, perhaps that breed could have been a viable choice. I hear Tonkinese are not as vocal or active as my Siamese boys Austen and especially his brother Jasper, due to the more sedate nature of their Burmese side. The boys are two years old now, and likely will be my last kittens due to my age (60). But down the road I may consider a new addition, so this was a super helpful video.
While many raise the issue of shelter rescues, if you are discerning and want to know exactly what you are getting, and health concerns and temperament are also important factors, then a pedigreed cat may be the way to go. While the initial cost of a purebred pet is higher than a rescue, one spends much more money on their feeding, veterinary care and providing enrichment over their lifetime than the purchase price. Hugs to Temo and Arya! They would be awesome in shows! Cheers, Michael Albuquerque NM USA
Hi cat butler I watch your vids every day ! One day I can’t wait I’m getting a Scottish and ragdoll kitten!❤
Aww thanks. Can’t wait to hear about your new kitten!
Hello😊 I really Loved your Video!! I was at a Cat Show once and was so fascinated to See so many beautiful Cats 🥰 you produced this Video so well, it was really interesting to See ! Thank you! Greetings from Germany

Aw Ragdolls. We had 2, and when they left us, got another. Love the breed!
I had one I rescued ,I called her patches .miss her
My friend had two rag doll cats, and introduced me to them by placing each one in my lap. Those cats behaved as if they’d known me their whole lives.
Haha they are truly angels :)
FABULOUS!!!!
Looked up next show in San Diego. 28JAN24
That will be my first.
Thank you❤
San Diego cat show is awesome! I went there this year.
This is a video of it if you want a preview! - ua-cam.com/video/rJlOL77ikK0/v-deo.html
maybe i will see you there!!

YES
Birman cats, ragamuffins (cream color), and siberian cats (lynx and cream color) look like ragdolls
Indeed they do!
I was able to go to the 2012 International Show in Columbus, OH--1000 cats!
My sister Debbie started the cat house in Lincoln Nebraska. She attended many cat shows with her oriental shorthair. She went to the rainbow bridge in 2016.
They’re all beautiful ❤
Thank you!
The Chartreux looks exactly like one of the cats we got from Grandma's farm. He was a sweetheart with the same plush blue gray coat and deep orange eyes. Mom named him Sweet William.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I bet Teemo and Arya have never been in a cat show before
Thanks for this event coming to uzbekistan
Thanks for this informative and entertaining video!
Glad you liked it!
Should have done more about the Russian Blue cat. Amazing breed. So cute and beautiful!
Yes! I will try to next time :)
‘No claws!’ Is that still allowed in 2024?
My Abys will run off with any food. Somalis a little more polite but still crazy. I showed at a few Internationals plus regular shows. Lots of fun.
"My cats don't kayak" 😂 6:55
Oh, i guess this cat does 😅 34:07
Ragdolls and Birmans are similar because Baker created the Ragdoll by crossing several different breeds, including the Birman, Burmese, and Persian
I am somali and it is crazy to see a cat that is called somali😂
I showed Abys and Somalis. Only difference is coat length.
@@JNoMooreNumbersthey are so cute, thank you for showing your cats. We don't see too many of either these days.
How delightful to see this video. Thank you sir❤.
39:39 The Norwegian Forest Cat has beautiful Lion's mane🤩!
regards,
Anindya🙂.
Glad you enjoyed the video :) and thanks for the kind words!

@@lessismore8533 Yes they hold it every year in Ohio! It passed already
I have never been to a cat show in the UK
siberian cat ❤❤❤
i also have siberian ❤❤
angelo..lived to be 23 yearsold
Sorry so little time was spent on Siamese... it's a cat of royal history, super smart and is one of, if not the most engaged kitties, usually talking constantly with their humans...
I know people always say 'adopt don't shop' and that cat breeds are just for looks in the end. . . but we'll never see established breeds if breeders aren't supported. We've learned so much about dogs BECAUSE of breeders. . . sometimes I think cats need that attention too. The typical domestic shorthair will always be the perfect cat. . .but what cat isn't perfect? If one's heart is set on something like a Bengal or Ragdoll, breed adoption isn't always an option. . .especially if you're wanting to screen for genetic problems. By all means, adopt . . .but sometimes. . .sometimes you want a very specific kitty. . .and that's okay too and the cat world really really needs to stop getting hung up on that.
Well said.
No
Tell me why it is that we value certain BREEDS? It’s unnecessary. It’s actually unhealthy for cats. And nearly prejudice of mixed breeds.
@@BrittKatSlat Here is your answer.
Perhaps they are allergic to cats and are searching for a 'breed' that is hypoallergenic, such as a Bengal, Russian Blue or Siberian etc.
@@BrittKatSlat Again though. . .we learned a lot about dog health and wellness BECAUSE of ethical breeders taking the time to establish breed standards. The same can be true for cat.
I literally have nothing against mixed breeds. I own to random DSH strays taken literally out of my neighborhood. Our eventual third is likely to be the same.
BUT, ethical breeding done PROPERLY seeks to eliminate health risks. If someone WANTS and has PREFERENCE for something like a Maine Coon, I would trust an ethical breeder over a rescue that can't trace lineage, can't tell me potential healthrisk, and can't say for sure if the big long hair they have is even a Maine Coon to begin with.
Explain to me why the cat world is so hung up on people having preference to the pet they choose to bring into their home. We don't give the side-eye to people that want a Golden Retriever over the random pitbull/corgi mutt. Why are you so judgemental towards the people that desire a Cornish Rex over the random inbred calico? Because there are millions more of them?
I'm not saying Shop Don't Adopt. I still encourage people to look towards adoption FIRST. But if someone WANTS something specific, they are allowed to want that, and judging them for that preference is asinine if they've DONE the research and the cat in question is being a GOOD CARING LOVING home.
Hi! I need to ask you something. I am writing an E book on Cats and I would like to include this link for people to click on it and watch it on your channel. Am I allowed to do it or I have to pay for Rights?. I would really appreciate it if you could clarify this, ´cause if you allow me, I could include some other links to videos from your channel.
Yeah you can link the video! Share it when you finish. Love to read it
Thank you for sharing the cat show. I am hoping you can help me with trying to decide on which gender of cat to adopt. I am a Gramma, 73 years old and in pretty good health. I hope to adopt an adult cat and not a kitten. My son has a female Bengal about three years old. Freya is sweet and gentle, not aggressive or domineering. My son and I have talked about him taking my cat when I no longer can care for it. My dilemma is should I adopt a female or a male should my son have to care for my cat. Some say a male and female get along better and never put two females together. I know it may sound silly to you to worry about my cat's future if I no longer can take care of it but I believe that ensuring my cat's safety and future are important. I have done a lot of research but do not have an answer. Should I get a male or female cat? If you could give me an idea about what to do I would be grateful. Thanks.
Hey thanks for reaching out! You ask many good questions, and love that you are thinking about the future :). I would say a male or female cat wouldn’t matter too much if you spay or neuter them. And if you get a cat from a reputable breeder, over many generations they have bred them to be super friendly and can get along. Some breeds are definitely more friendly and sociable than others.
Here is a video I did on the differences between male and female cat: The Key Differences between Male and Female Cats | The Cat Butler

Thank you for responding. After watching your video I think I will look for a personality similar to Freya. Love your cats. Love watching your channel.
Where was the Birman (sacred Birman cat) ?
Hmmm you mean where can you get the Birman?
I have a siamese manx
What a beautiful mix!
Khao manee cats from Thailand will never make this list in the US
Yeah haven't seen a Khao Manee yet! Do you have one?
@@TheCatButler I do her name is Madonna and she does have the 2 colored diamond eyes
love the name!!!!
@@TheCatButler it suits her “vogue” personality she really walks the catwalk 🤣
They had provisional status at one time, but there are not enough people breeding them to further their acceptance at this time. Maybe in the future.
