That's a perfect build. Im looking to have a bike built. I love the Cinelli frames .. but I'm starting to look into titanium frames. They look awesome.
Great video, thanks. I'm about to build one for myself this weekend, but with full SRAM 1x groupset. I've gone for Panaracer Gravel Kings, with tan sidewalls 😎👍
Hi. Interesting video. I want to build something similar as an 'all round bike' (bit of everything but not competition) mostly used for enjoyable rides out on and off road plus a bit of bike packing. How do you think this frameset compares against Ribble CGR Al, Ribble CGR 725 and Forme Calver CX Al? Many Thanks.
I was leaning more towards the giant revolt advanced 1..What's the difference in price and performance?. I ride an aluminium Scott and the road chatter at times is terrible..I thought I would go with a carbon bike this time..What are your thoughts.?.I will be using the gravel bike as my bike packing and winter bike
Hanging bags off a carbon bike can be problematic. You will be amazed how quickly velcro straps wear away carbon. Carbon also doesn't hold a clamping force well.
Thanks for this video. I have one of these but find it a bit heavy and sluggish on the road, especially uphill. However , I am going to upgrade the wheels as suggested here and possibly the seat post too
- and if you should recommend a comfy and quick carbon gravel bike? Where would you end up? Thanks a lot, not least for great informative videos, reviews etc. Absolutely top quality material.
now truly, this is the do it all bike! i would love to see a road set up with 32c tires on. the bb drop is 70mm and the geometry fits a what would be an endurance road bike.
Point of order, mate - it's pronounced Chin-ell-ee Zy-de-co. That said I just bought one largely based on your endorsement. It is a brilliant ride. Thanks.
Geometry “spot on” ? Sure like to see statement supported by detail, or at least basic numbers like head tube angle, trail, wheelbase…. Sure viewers can look it up, but comparison and comment to other bikes, such as Look 765 Gravel (72 v. 70.3 head tube angle) should be made….otherwise it’s just like any bike shop banter where the paint sells the bike.
@@Mapdec Yes, I did. The Cinelli Zydeco is one of the bikes I'm considering when looking for a new gravel bike. I've always preferred smaller, classical bike brands. :)

Sweet. Tell us it goes.

Forme Calver is a good shout. We have a build of that coming up. This zydeco has such good geometry it could do almost anything.
if I order a frame, how much will these parts to build it cost me??
Call us at the shop and we can quote you.
Thinking about building up one of these frames soon. Do you have a figure in how much this complete bike weighs?
This was a long time ago now. I suspect it was a little over 9

@@Mapdec thank you for the advice.👍🏻Btw love all your content ❣️

Do it. It is an awesome frame, and not heavy. But the off the shelf build does not do it justice.
Out of interest, did you use the Cinelli neo seat pin ? That was the only Cinelli seat pin I could find but that's alu with a carbon wrap
@@nickwebber463 I can’t recall. More likely a Deda one.
Really nice build and great bike. Whats the total price shipped to Denmark in a size large (1,84 cm/95 kg rider)? Thanks :-)

Tires of 45mm is possibile?
Was he taping those bars from the outside-in? :) Gorgeous looking bike, the girlfriend has one on order that should arrive in a week or so.
Yes. There is sound reason. Better when on drops.
@@Mapdec interesting! Opposite of whomever taught me, maybe I'm doing it wrong lol. Fantastic build, nice choice for tyres & wheels too.
It’s a ‘it depends’ thing.

Cool. Thanks 🙏
I’d love one with the Campag Ekar groupset to go with my Cinelli Saeta that’s fitted with Campag Chorus
I know. But that stuff is impossible to buy right now.
I can see a crack in the weld where the down tube meets the bottom bracket 😮
🤣
Sure you can

Can’t believe you made me look 😅
@@Mapdec being a welder I can’t help myself easy fix with a decent Tig 👍🙂
Hi guys, can you tell me if an integrated internal routing handlebar would work on this frameset?
No reason why not. Routing though the stearer tube would be problematic though if you wanted to do that.
My left ear enjoyed your commentary.
Thanks. I’ll try and catch the right ear next time. Maybe one day we will have both. 🤷♂️
What would the tyre clearance be with 650b wheels installed?
Easily fit 45c. 47c depends on tread. 50c would have to be virtually slick.
What’s the biggest tire can this take ?
For 700 or 650 wheels?
@@Mapdec 650 I think for 700 it’s like 40
45 will be ok.
how much was this?
I couldn’t possibly say.

A small error has snuck in: The tyres are Pirelli Cinturato M and nothing else.
Well done for paying attention, good spot. I’m still learning to speak to a camera. Hope you enjoyed most of it.

😍
Why on earth did they opt for such a shit cable route for the rear mech?
