    One wig to rule them all.
    One wig to fool them.
    One wig to elude them all.
    And now they can not find him.

    The fact that all the Elves don't speak Elvish when they are around each other and there are no humans in the scene....alone, speaks volumes. The Elves in this show feels like they are humans with pointy ears. Oof!

      Yes and elves look exactly as Human except the pointy ears.
      LOTR & HOBBIT elves are amazing.

    In regard to actors taking jobs, here is a Michael Caine quote about his role in Jaws 4, "I have never seen the film, but by all accounts it was terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific."

      Yeah despite the obvious token black Valyrians, the story was engaging and I kept looking forward to the next episode.

    I didn't care for any of these characters. They made Galadriel so petulant and insufferable, it's a shame. Just poor writing overall.

    How much of a tax break are these companies getting for DEI? Hiring DEI based Writers, directors, content, actors, social media, etc? I know all companies get a tax break for DEI. But how much would Amazon get for all the people they hire solely for a DEI series, along with the content and social networking interaction (since they could file that under community service and social activism)?

    Meanwhile you have HBO killing it with House of the Dragon. An actually well written and well produced show. The difference between them is staggering.

    Once again mate, toughly enjoyed your genuine mirth at some of the drinker’s comments, nerdrotic this time as a really lengthy exposition on the whole thing, and it covers a lot of what’s going on. These people have really destroyed Tolkien’s legacy, it is disgraceful how much they have altered the storyline. 100’s of millions of fans despise this, wish they could actually see that. Tolkien himself would have absolutely hated it as well. Love your work sir! Please keep it up

    I honeslty believe these films and tv shows are not for adults. They more directed and younger audience who wont know any better and will accept it for what it is.

    if these writers actually read some fan fiction, there might be a lot more quality these days. Fan films and fanfic end up being better than any Hollywood product 9/10 times

    Technically in tolkien's Lord of the rings sauron was originally an elf

    • @irishswag101
      @irishswag101 17 днів тому +2

      Technically a Maiar which is neither elf nor human. He can merely take whatever form he desires like how Gandalf likes to appear as a kindly old man. Maiar are Tolkien's equivalent to angels. The Balrog is one as well. They decided to appear as fire demons.
