    I accidentally updated both Bios'es on my Sapphire RX 5600XT and I'm wondering to which side do I need to pull the BIOS switch on my GPU? It's been told one is performance and other one is silet. But when I check my GPU-Z applications it shows exact numbers on both mode, except I can't see 14gbps increase, so where can I check that too?

    Nice video! Thanks!
    How much power does the flashed card draw? Could be a factor for some people when making a decision to go for this or for a 2060. If you current PSU gets maxed out by a card, you could still be okay with the other card, meaning you don't have to buy a new PSU as well. Another thing I was wondering (bit more tricky I guess) is how much do both card add to temps within the case. I've seen AMD cards add so much heat to the case that all case fans would end up spinning to the max, making the system quite loud during gaming.

    • @KDSTech
      @KDSTech  4 роки тому +1

      Good questions. I can tell you that the base power was increased in gpu tweak from 978 mV to 1018 mV. I haven’t test power draw over all, however. Something I might do on my next 5600xt I get in.
      Since I did this on an open air bench, I didn’t test thermals for a case setting. I can tell you that the card didn’t seem to run any warmer than the 2060. ASUS does a good job with that massive cooler.

    • @PrimeRsoul
      @PrimeRsoul 4 роки тому

      @@KDSTech Yeah, that cooler does look like they did put some thought into it. And I don't think many people would run into any issues with their PSU unless they step it up a few levels to 2070+. Although some might use a less powerful PSU, more in line with the price range of these cards.
      Don't feel obliged to run another test though. Just thought you might have run this in a closed system as well end kept the data.
      I do always keep reservations with AMD cards though since they tend to draw more power. Over there it's not much consideration probably, but over here electricity over here electricity is quite a bit more expensive. So if the price difference of the purchase is an obstacle, you might earn that back in electricity costs during the lifespan of the card.

      thanks.. i should have shown a better way.. Press the Windows Key, type Display settings, and then press Enter. Locate and click on Advanced display settings. At the bottom of the window that appears, click Display adapter properties. The BIOS version is located in the middle of the window that appears.
